The 3M Advanced Ultrathon Insect Repellent is pretty good and is an affordable way to keep insects away while you are camping. I use it for my family and I when we are in the mountains or at the river and it is easy to use. I think the best part is that it is SAFE for children. That is probably the main reason why we originally purchased it and I have to say its the main reason why we keep purchasing it. My greatest fear is to purchase something that is harmful for my kids to use while we are on vaction or on our trips. There is no price for safety and your kids welfare. I will probably keep using this stuff until they get older, probably in their late teens or so. There IS one drawback tough. You have to reapply it every once and awhile. This can get bothersome as you are hiking for several hours or all day even, and then you star getting bites and you have to reapply the stuff in midstream.
