I am in love with most Aveda products, but I especially love their Botanical Kinetics Creme Cleanser. It is gentle enough to use on sensitive skin, but also tough enough to remove makeup. That is right! You do not have to remove makeup before using this product! Just squirt one pump in your palm, lather it up, and apply to your skin! The creme cleanser uses plant-derived oils for those of us who are chemical conscious. Effectiveness Very effective. It removes surface level makeup and dirt, as well as the grime that is not as obvious. I also love that it is a creme cleanser, meaning it will slightly moisturize your skin as well while it is cleaning it. Ease of Application Very easy to apply! The pump attached to the top of the bottle makes portion control very simple, I use one squirt for just my face and one and a half squirts if I am cleansing my face and neck. Scent Aveda Creme Cleanser has a light, fresh scent that will leave you feeling clean and energized. Love!

Aveda makes wonderful products. The ingredients are natural and gentle and they always have a fantastic scent. This cleanser is no different. Because it is a cream cleanser, it has a different texture then you may be used to, but rest assured, it provides a fantastic cleanse. My skin feels like it got a deep clean without drying or causing any irritation. It is most effective if you have the entire line (including toner and lotion) but it is still effective on its own. If you are looking for a great cleanser that leaves your skin looking and feeling great, this is it. Don't be fearful of the price, it is well worth it. Effectiveness This cleanser is very effective, especially if you have combination skin or suffer from occasional break outs. I found that when using this, I ended up with a more even skin tone and overall healthier looking skin. Ease of Application This cleanser is extremely easy to get out of the container and apply. It may take you a time or to in order to figure out how much you need because of the texture. You need to figure out how the right amount for you based on how much you want it to foam. Scent I love the scent of this product. It is clean and refreshing. You can smell it while using it on your skin but it doens't linger so it won't interfere with any other scents you wear during the day.

I used Aveda Botanical Kinetics Purifying Creme Cleanser consecutively for probably close to a year, and my skin had great results. I have normal skin that tends to be on the pretty dry side, I am 30 with the start of some fine lines. I have never had any trouble with acne, breakouts, or oil, so I can't speak to how this product would work for those with those type of skin issues - but for me - it worked great. I love that Aveda uses natural ingredients, and this facial cleanser lathers up into a nice, thick cream. It smells great and a little goes a long way, which is really helpful, because the product might seem expensive. But honestly, a bottle will last forever. My skin always feels refreshed, moisturized and just great after using this product. I love it and definitely recommend it. Effectiveness My skin responded very well to this cleanser - no problems with breakouts or redness. It is always left refreshed and moisturized. Overall - excellent. Ease of Application Lathers on and rinses off easily.

I am so in love with this product. At first it was hard for me to shell out the money for these products (I purchase the entire line), but it has been the best investment I have made because it has completely changed my skin. I have very sensitive skin, including rosacea, and this is the only product I have found that does not irritate my skin. Aveda Botanical Kinetics Creme Cleanser is creamy and gentle, and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple, yet clean and purified. (Other cream cleansers tend to leave my skin feeling too greasy.) the scent is light and pleasant, and not overwhelming. I suggest purchasing the whole line if you want to see a dramatic difference in your skin, but purchasing the cleanser is a great place to start!

First, let me say that Aveda has been one of my favorite brands for years. The products are use loads of natural ingredients and the scent of most of them is just wonderful. I have used the rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner, the hand relief cream and many others and have never been disappointed. The Aveda Kinetics Purifying Cream Cleanser was just okay in my book. As expensive as Aveda products are, I had expected just a little bit more. The cleansing cream had the same great Aveda scent and had a great smooth texture. I washed my face with it and seemed to do the job okay but I was still left feeling like I had not really washed my face. It did not irritate my skin which is a plus when you have sensitive skin and I really wanted to like this but it was so light-feeling on my face that I did not get the sense that it was doing any deep cleaning. This product is expensive and I found that Olay or Neutrogena do a better job at less than half the price of Aveda.

I just recently within the past few months started using Aveda's Botanical Creme Cleanser.  At first I wasn't impressed, but after a few weeks I grew to like it.  I use it in the morning and at night.  It has a fresh scent and is also very light.  You have to massage it in to get a little bit of foaming action, but it works well.  I do pair it with the toner, the exfoliant, and the mositurizer.  I think it is a bit on the pricey side, but I would compare it to Mary Kay or something along those lines.  Once I am done with these I probably will repurchase them, if that says anything about it.  I did start out with the small bottles to give it a try and then bought the bigger bottles the last time as they are more economical.  I did not like the scent of the moisturizer.  I believe they may have another one that I will try next time.  Overall I am pretty pleased with this product and tend to keep using it.
