This is one heck of a moisturizer! I picked some of the Alba Botanica Aloe & Green Tea Oil-free Moisturizer when they had a buy one get on free sale. I thought it was on the expensive side, even when it was a buy one get one scenario. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this moisturizer is very concentrated and a little bit goes a very long way. This makes it a much better value than I originally thought. Effectiveness This is a very effective moisturizer and very concentrated. It's oil free so it's very nice for someone like me who has an oily t-zone. That said, it doesn't go light on the moisture when it comes to my dry patches. I don't have any problems with acne or breakouts with this moisturizer. Ease of Application This is a nice, thick moisturizer so it's easy to apply and doesn't get wasted by dripping off your face. Scent The scent of this moisturizer is serious fantastic. It smells so fresh, clean, and botanical. You can easily smell the green tea and aloe vera. Also, it's a very herbal scent.

I'm a sucker for products the look and smell good. Alba Aloe & Green Tea Oil-free Moisturizer was both of those things so I decided to try it. I like that it is a natural product and is hypo-allergenic. I am always on the lookout for things I haven't tried. This is part of the Alba Hawaiian line. The good thing is that not only did it look and smell good but it also moisturized well. It's a little more expensive than most moisturizers and creams I buy but I don't mind treating myself now and then. Effectiveness I have combination skin and it's sometimes hard to find a moisturizer that doesn't make the oily parts more oily and the dry parts even drier. This seemed to do a good job. It wasn't heavy or greasy. It seemed to moisturize and hydrate just the right amount. Ease of Application This comes in a small jar. It doesn't take much to cover your face. It seemed to last a long time. Scent This smells really good. It has a fresh, botanical scent. It is not overpowering or too strong.

This is an excellent moisturizer for your face. I purchased it after having a good experience with this brand's lotion. The facial moisturizer proved to be just as wonderful. It is really light and fresh. It feels great going on your face. One of the best things about this moisturizer is that is has aloe in it. Aloe is great for your skin. I noticed my skin looking better after using this for just a week. The skin on my face looked softer and had a more even tone to it. The scent on this is incredible too. Alba Aloe and Green Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer is by far my favorite facial moisturizer. It is light and easy to apply, and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy like some heavier moisturizers. My favorite use for this is in the summer months when other moisturizers leave my skin feeling oily. The only thing that would make this moisturizer better would be added sun protection, but I imagine that would make it heavier and a bit greasy like most SPF products. Effectiveness I love that this oil free moisturizer is light and not greasy. It leaves my skin soft and refreshed, without making it feel like I just applied a heavy cream or lotion. If you have very dry skin, you might find that this product is too light, especially in the colder drier months. I find that it is perfect for my skin, especially in the summer. Ease of Application Because this is in a pot with a screw off lid, it is incredibly easy to apply. Scent The moisturizer has a faint a natural scent that doesn't linger.

I bought the Alba Green Tea Moisturizer to use after my Alba face wash. I have been very impressed with the Alba products. I've used a lot of natural brands, and none of them have done anything that they promised. Every Alba product I've tried has delivered on all their promises, and this moisturizer is no different. I love that it is oil free and all natural. The size of the jar is a little small, but it doesn't take much to spread across our entire face. It smells really great, and it makes my face feel refreshed. The green tea in this product helps with the puffiness on my face. Sometimes, I don't get as much sleep as I should, and my face shows it. This moisturizer wakes up my skin, and no one can tell how tired I am! It helps keep my skin hydrated all throughout the dry winter, but it doesn't clog my pores. It has a light scent, but it smells good. This is the best natural face cream I have ever used.

While Alba's oil-free moisturizer is, well, oil-free...it's also disappointingly moisture-free as well. I used to use this product all the time (probably because it was just what I had at the time, and I was too lazy to find a new moisturizer), but I was always disappointed in the lack of moisturizing it did for my skin. When you're looking for a moisturizer, you really need to find one that moisturizes. Obviously. After application, my face would feel moisturized for a short while. My main goal was to get my face moisturized enough to get ready for applying my foundation. It worked decently enough for that, as long as I applied my makeup very soon after putting on the moisturizer. On those days where I didn't wear makeup, this moisturizer was more obviously disappointing: you can put it on, and then only an hour later (or less), you feel like you need more. I would also wear it at night, and while it was better than nothing, it really wasn't the best moisturizer out there. Needless to say, I've since switched to Trader Joe's oil-free, nourishing moisturizer. Effectiveness Not very effective, because the moisturizing didn't last long. Ease of Application Easy to put on, and you'll put it on often! (Since you'll need to reapply it too often.) Scent I don't even remember if this product had a scent, so it was probably pretty neutral.

I had noticed that my skin was getting more breakouts than usual and was looking very dry and dull. My friend had recommended the Alba brand to me, and I figured I would give this moisturizer a shot because it's well-priced and the size looked very convenient to travel with. I would not recommend this as a daytime moisturizer- I tried that once and my face felt really greasy and I had trouble applying the rest of my makeup. I think it's much better suited for a night time moisturizer. Before going to bed, I made sure to remove my makeup and wash my face before applying the moisturizer. Lesson learned very quickly- you only need a tiny amount to cover your face and neck. Anything more will left my face greasy and the scent seemed to linger. Once you get the application down, it works well and doesn't irritate my skin. Also, i've found that it's a great moisturizer to moisturize and get rid of redness after waxing.

With its all natural ingredients, this hypo allergenic facial moisturizer is perfect for any skin type. Effectiveness I have acne prone/oily skin. Finding a perfect facial moisturizer has been a nightmare. I tried hundreds before finding abla. All the others made my face feel greasy. Even ones that were oil free seemed to still feel gross & I always ended up with more breakouts. Since using alba in combination with my skin care routine, my face is softer, never greasy & my break outs have slowed significantly. I also want to note that this is a great substitute for a makeup primer! Ease of Application The cream glides on so smooth and has zero greasy feel to it. It almost disappears once rubbed in. All you are left with is a light Hawaiian scent and oh so soft skin. Scent I am not a fan of highly scented products. Especially ones I am using on my face. This alba facial moisturizer has just the slightest hint of the "Hawaiian" scent to be considered perfect! Clean smells are my thing right now and this product fits the bill to a T.

Alba Aloe & Green Tea Oil-free Moisturizer is one of the best moisturizers I have ever used. I have very dry skin that always feels tight, stretched and parched, especially in the summer. I have tried so many different moisturizers, always looking for one that provided enough day-long moisture without being greasy. This one does a great job of that. It rubs in completely and provides all day moisture without making my face feel greasy or weighed down. I am able to wear it under my makeup without ending up shiny at the end of the day, and I even can use it as an overnight cream. It feels great, goes on smoothly, and the best part - the smell! The smell is absolutely amazing. It is tropical and delicious without being too over-powering, because it is a face cream after-all. It is a wonderful product, works great and on top of everything else - it's natural. I like to feel good about what I put into my body as well as what I put onto my skin, and this product makes me feel like I am taking great care of my skin. It's a winner. I have test many different facial moisturizers over the years, and this is the best moisturizer I've used! I absolutely love this product, and have used only it since finding out about it. Before learning about Alba's moisturizer, I used other oil-free lotions, but the often left my forehead really shiny. This was partly because of the lotion, and partly because of my own natural oils. This moisturizers is used as the 3rd step (wash, tone, moisturize) in my face care process. However, I will admit that I only use this moisturizer in the morning cleaning (at night, I prefer a rejuvenating facial cream). If you have acne-prone skin like me, it's best to stick with an oil-free moisturizer and this one is so lightweight it leaves your skin radiant and soft. I have found that it is best to not use this on top of Retin-A and benzoyl peroxide creams because it will feel heavy on your skin, and may not let it breathe as well. Back when that was part of my cleaning routine, I would sometimes notice a shiny forehead around noon day. My only qualm with this product is that there is no sunblock (SPF) so I would ask your skin care professional what to use with this that won't clog pores. I tend to stay indoors most of the time, so I do not really worry about this until summer time.
