I had used coconut oil in the past to moisturize my skin so when I came across Alba Coconut Milk Facial Wash I was expecting positive results. The scent of this wash is heavenly. It smells exactly like a coconut and its consistency glides effortlessly over my face without interruption. I used this wash only in the winter when I needed a little extra hydration. I would pump two pea size drops on the tip of my finger and gently go over my face for 10 seconds. I immediately rinsed the wash off my face with cold water and my face felt soft, hydrated, and had a nice glow to it. Sadly these results only last for about an hour, but there wasn't much of a drop off in my appearance. The best thing about this wash is that it doesn't trigger any out breaks on my sensitive skin. The only negative I have about Alba Coconut Milk Facial Wash is that after washing my face it doesn't feel clean. Even though I know my skin is clean I am used to a wash producing suds. I have always associated suds as a sign of cleanliness and sadly this product doesn't produce them.

This wash is so beautiful , a perfect combination of cleanser and scent. It's gentle on the skin, when you wash your face with it, the skin looks moisturized and feels smooth and soft , not stripped like with soap. There's a little cooling tingle from the ginger that's in the wash too, so it it refreshing and soothing at the same time. Effectiveness Skin looks fresh and clean at relaxed not irritated. The wash takes care of dirt on the face but in a gentle way. You can definitely see clean skin even though it's not leaving that squeaky feeling like soap. Clean and soft. Ease of Application Easy application, mine comes in a pump bottle , so no fiddling with caps . The wash is like a lotion instead of a liquid and a little goes a long way, it does not create suds the way soap does, so there's less to rinsing time. Scent The scent is personally the best feature of this wash, It's like a tiny vacation every time I use it. smells like a pina colada, beautiful and mild scented.

The Bottom Line: Alba Coconut Milk Facial Wash is a cream cleanser that smells great and is mild on sensitive skin. It leaves your skin feeling soft, fresh and never dry, but it will not remove makeup at all. A bit overpriced for what you get. Effectiveness This milk cleanser is great first thing in the morning. I like how it leaves my face feeling fresher and brighter, and it really does feel like it wakes my skin up. On the other hand, I tried it one evening to remove my makeup and it failed miserably. I ended up using a ton more product than normal to try and get rid of my eye make up. It definitely performs in the moisture department, but is not intended to be used to remove makeup. Ease of Application This product is a creamy cleanser so it will not lather at all, which is not my favorite type of cleanser because it never feels like your skin really gets cleaned. The cleanser is a bit runny so it is not always easy to apply it onto your face without losing some on the way. I think it would be easier to use if it were thicker. It does rinse off easily and very clean. Scent The scent of this product is the best part about it. You can definitely smell the coconut, as well as a slight ginger underlying smell. It smells quite natural and pleasant if you like tropical scents.

Alba Coconut Milk Facial Wash is one of the most gentle yet effective facial cleansers out there. I've tried many different natural facial cleansers in my search for a facial cleanser that does not irritate my sensitive skin. I cannot tolerate many face soaps because they strip my skin of moisture, leaving my face drier and irritated. Alba Coconut Milk Facial Wash is another story. This facial cleanser gently removes impurities, cleanses, and moisturizes the skin at the same time. It's like washing your face with a cleansing lotion. Don't expect this facial cleanser to foam up and lather, however. Because it is sulfate free, it will not lather like most soaps. It's still more than adequately effective at cleansing, and does its job well. Biggest pro: works well for sensitive skin. I would guess it would be really hard to find someone who couldn't tolerate this product...it's just that good. If you have really oily skin and break out easily, you might need a stronger product. However, this is perfect for those who have sensitive skin and need something more soothing. Effectiveness Very effective at gently cleansing the skin. Ease of Application Do not expect this product to lather up; instead, think of this as a cleansing lotion. It's not hard to apply, but it is different than traditional facial cleansers. Easy to use! Scent I honestly never smell the scent, just because I don't take the time to do that. I'm sure it's a just subtle coconut-y scent that wears off quickly.

This is my favorite face wash. I have very acne prone skin, so I have to be careful about what I put on my face. I started using natural products a few years ago, but most of the face washes made me break out. I still had to use a wash that was for acne prone skin, and I couldn't find any that were natural. I decided to try this wash after using Alba's papaya enzyme face mask. After using their mask, my skin was so soft, and it didn't make me break out. The first couple of times I used this face wash, I had bad breakouts on my chin. I thought I was going to have to stop using it, but after about three days, my face stopped breaking out. It slowly started to clear up, and within a couple of weeks, my face was smoother than it had ever been. I guess it was just pulling all the junk out of my pores, and that's what was causing the pimples. I still get the occasional pimple, but it's nothing like it used to be. My skin is really soft, and my acne scars are starting to fade.

I received this wash as a gift and love it! I am in my teens and have combination skin with acne in the t-zone. For about two years now I have been interested in natrual ways to care for my skin and have tried every thing from the oil cleansing method to home made facials and steam facials as well. realizing how bad soaps are for delicate facial skin, I have looked every where for a soap free cleanser, and this one is awesome!

This is my go-to face wash. I have VERY sensitive skin, and this stuff works wonderfully! It leaves my pores small, and my skin smooth. I attended a Mary-Kay skin care party and when the consultants back was turned, the other ladies asked me what face wash I use! It's great! It really evens out my skin tone. My husband loves the smell- he thinks my skin smells like a cupcake right after I use it! (I do not notice the scent myself; I guess I have gotten used to it). Some reviewers consider the smell to be like clay; I really do not see that at all. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because it does not remove makeup incredibly well, but I have makeup remover pads (Almay) so this is not a big issue for me. Also, this stuff is pretty gentle and may not be strong enough for people with super oily skin. Oh, and I love that Alba does not test on animals! (I *believe* that Aveeno does not have that promise, which bothers me). Plus, it is made with natural ingredients. Yay!

I've tried a few Alba products, and initially bought this after finding that I couldn't use their Pineapple Enzyme Facial Wash outside of the shower because if it I got it anywhere NEAR my eyes without rinsing ridiculously thoroughly, my eyes would burn and sting badly -- worse than any other face wash I've ever used.  I did, however, love how clean and soft it left my skin, so I just wanted a product that would cleanse like that without the stinging.  I didn't think anything with Coconut Milk in the name would be very acidic so I gave their Coconut Milk facial cleanser a try, thinking it would be gentle on my eyes. Well, it is ... probably a little too gentle.  I don't mind that it doesn't lather (neither did the Pineapple Enzyme stuff), but the consistency is REALLY milky, and it has a smell that reminds me more of Play-Doh than coconuts.  It also leaves my skin with a sort of waxy feel, which I don't really like.  The biggest problem, though, is that it doesn't remove my foundation or eye makeup very well at all, and they have ended up on my towels every time I dry my face at night.  So now, because money is tight and I just hate throwing stuff out unused, I use this stuff alone in the morning (since removing makeup isn't an issue then), and at night, I'm combining this face wash with the Alba Sea Kelp Extract Scrub (which works GREAT) to make my own exfoliating cleanser, which does remove my makeup thoroughly.  The addition of the scrub also seems to cleanse a little more deeply and reduces the 'waxy' feel left by the Coconut Milk facial wash alone. I love the natural ingredients, because I think what you put on your skin is definitely absorbed by your body and can have health effects, but nothing else about this product impressed me.  Once I've used it up, I'll be moving on to something else.

I love the Alba Coconut Milk Facial Wash! I am a strict twice a day face washer, once in morning and once at night, and this face wash never dries my skin out. It leaves it soft and silky with enough moisture to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day without being oily. This is especially important for me because I have oily skin. This absorbs the oil when I wash my skin and doesn't encourage extra oil production by drying my skin out to much. Another awesome feature of this face wash is the smell! Who doesn't love the rich aroma of coconut in the morning when they first wake up? It is invigorating in the morning and helps to wake up my tired skin. It also leaves my face smelling great throughout the day and I've had people tell me that I smell like the beach or that I smell like coconut! Both compliments in my book. It is a great face wash for the price and it is well worth it. Trust me, if you buy this product you will love it. I've been using it for a month and I haven't found any negatives!

I have used this cleanser for over two months now and I fell as good as new. This cleanser has really helped me make my skin look a whole lot better. I have used other cleansers before but they hadin't done as much as Alba Coconut Milk Facial wash. Alba Coconut milk facial wash has a lot of pros like it lasts a long time, its 80% organic, soap-free, pleaseant scent (the best one ever by the way), doesn't at all irritate skin, it leathers great, and most of all it has vegan ingrediants. I am vegan, so I am very statsified with Alba Coconut Milk Facial Wash. What else can I say about Alba Coconut Milk Facial wash? Well i has really worked for me, and I am recommending the Alba cOCONUT MILK FACIAL WASH TO MY FAMILY FRIEDNS AND NEIGHBOR. A lot of them find it very helpful with their skin too.
