American Crew Shampoo is an item I bought where I get my haircut. It's more expensive than other shampoos and not something I usually would purchase. I found that it's a bit more sticky and harder to rinse out than other 'poos, but otherwise was worth the effort to pick up a few times. Effectiveness American Crew Shampoo cleans my hair effectively. It applies thicker than other shampoos and is aimed more toward the high maintenance hairstyle than a crewcut or other styles. Scent American Crew Shampoo has a pleasant scent but that's not enough to make it a regular purchase. I found that it's just another brand that I've tried and decided on something else.

American crew shampoo is one of the best shampoos i have used on my hair for the price it is.Usually I buy more expensive brands that are formulated for my specific hair type.I think a more extensive line of american crew would be a good thing,Also the cheaper brands of shampoo I have used are stripping and I have to use alot of conditioner.This product doesnt do this to my hair.It is a good shampoo for every day use and has not really damaged my hair i can just wash and go.The best thing about the shampoo is the fresh scent that leaves me feeling refreshed especially in the morning and gives me a clean feeling.Also it has a good old american name a plus. i just wish it was a green product it would be a plus.At this price i will consider buying this shampoo for a very long time

I've been using American Crew shampoo for about six years now since an ex-girlfriend turned me on to it.  Being a stylist, I took her advice and started using it.  If anything good came out of that relationship, it was my new, lifelong relationship with American Crew Shampoo.  Even so much that I've started using the American Crew conditioner, too!  The shampoo I use is to thicken hair.  I have very thin, fine hair and it does give it a little body for me to work with when I style it.  It lathers up well and rinses easily.  It has a noticeable but not too strong scent that isn't fruity and is suited well for men.  You can tell when you get out of the shower and dry your hair how soft it feels.  It also does well at lowering the chance of having dandruff as long as you rinse it well enough.  It's hard to describe the actual scent of the shampoo other than it isn't girly and just smells masculine, like it was meant for guys.  I probably won't ever switch shampoos ever again!

Okay, I will start by thanking Crew for NOT marketing their male hair products like some "other" hair-product-manufacturers, and by informing everyone that:- No, this (nor any other hair/body product) will not make women come falling at your knees- No, this will not make you popular and liked just for having used it- You get my point I can say, however, that since I have been using Crew shampoo my hair feels less dry, my oily hair stays less oily throughout the day, and my scalp feels a lot better too. I used to be of the mindset of "give me something cheap that just does the job and gets my hair clean". However, since I have been using this designer product I definitely won't go back. Also, the scent is something more geared toward a man - as opposed to your typical store-brand stuff which smells fruity, fluffy, or whatever else. It is a bit pricey (quite a bit more pricey if you don't buy it on sale) but is definitely worth the extra expense. Highly recommended.

I converted to using American Crew Daily Moisturizing Shampoo about 4 years ago and always prefer it to any of the competition. It's expensive and you typically find it only in hair salons, but I've also found it at discount stores once in awhile if you're lucky. The good thing is that despite the higher initial price tag, this stuff lasts about 4 months of daily use. Not only because it's a large bottle, but because I find I need to use a lot less to get better, cleaner results versus the other hair care products I've used. I'm no expert on hair types, but I would consider mine to be on the oily-er side, and it works great with mine. It never leaves my hair feeling dry, but on the contrary, actually feeling smooth and refreshed. Now do note, I had come across an article or website once that listed numerous hair care products and their detriment to people's health, and American Crew was listed as being a big culprit of this. So if you feel that these studies are possibly true or just want to get more information about what you use to wash before trying this, I recommend you research into this and make your own conclusion. For myself, I don't put much weight into these studies, and after 4 years of use am still a fan and still have my hair and health. I recommend giving it a try regardless of your hair type. I was an instantaneous fan, same as with the hair wax and conditioner which I use along with this shampoo, American Crew's products continue to excel and are worth the premium price.

Not all shampoos works the same for everybody so finding a shampoo that doesn't dry my hair out or doesn't really clean my hair out. Ever since switching over to Americna Crew Daily Moisturizing Shampoo my hair has been extra healthy and it really shows. Eventhough it may be a little costly but I believe that you have to get the best products when it comes to your personal apperance.  First being introduced to American Crew Produts from my sister who is a cosmetologist  i had faith in the product and that it would benefit me. After using it the first time i was hooked and decided that this would be the shampoo that I would be using long term.  Not only does it have a pleasant scent but it last long. Only a few drops really cleans and moisturizes my hair to the fullest.  Now I have a variety of American Crew products thanks to the great experience I had with American Crew Daily Moisturizing Shampoo.

When I met my husband, he was stuck on Pert.  I quickly got him hooked on American Crew products.  The American Crew Daily Moisturizing Shampoo works great on his fine hair.  You don't need to use much to do the trick.  It has a very manly scent and lingers a bit on his hair after using.  He also follows it up with the American Crew Conditioner and hair gel, so he really gets that great Crew scent that lasts all day.  We purchase these at the salon, but they are also available at many discount stores now.  They are pricey and of course no coupons, but at times the products will go on sale.  It also doesn't take much (my husband has very short and fine hair), so the bottles really last for a long time.  He started using American Crew over 10 years ago and he's still going strong.  He loves the line and has never considered going back to Pert or looking for any other products to replace the Crew line.  5 stars and over from us.  Definitely recommend American Crew!
