Avalon Organics Lavender Hand and Body Lotion is not only moisturizing, but also very good for you! I love how Avalon Organics uses pure, natural, organic ingredients in their products. That's very important to me as a health conscious person. In addition, since I have very sensitive skin, I know I'm more likely to not have a bad reaction from a more natural product like this. When I put on this lotion, it was immediately nourishing and moisturizing. I waited off the familiar itching sensation, but it never came. So awesome! The aded bonus is the wonderfully calming lavender scent, which always seems so fresh and clean smelling to me. If you have dry or sensitive skin, or simply care about finding organic lotions and such, this product would be a great choice for you. Absorption Absorbs easily into the skin, without making your skin feel greasy of sticky. If you have dry skin, however, you might have to use more lotion than you'd expect.

I absolutely adore this lotion. I buy it when I am having guests and want to make a good impression or for a nice gift. It has such a wonderful scent and always leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. It has such a luxurious feel to it, like something you would be treated to at a high-end spa, but it comes at a pretty reasonable price. I also love that it is organic, so I know that the ingredients will be healthy and gentle for my skin and will be good even for people with more sensitive skin. Scent The lavender scent of this lotion is so soothing and relaxing. It's perfect as a treat for a day of pampering or for right before bedtime. Absorption I found that this absorbs better than several other similar lotions that I have tried. It is not greasy at all and it feels lovely! Effectiveness This does a great job of moisturizing my skin, keeping it soft and smooth, and leaving it powdery like baby's skin. I love it!

Avalon Organics Lavender Moisture Maximization Lotion is one of the products in my dry skin care arsenal.  I purchased a small 2 ounce bottle of this lotion at my local Fred Meyer store, they have a lot of naturally based skin care products in their "natural foods" department.  This size is perfect for adding to a purse or backpack, even a glove box of our car. Lavender is one of my favorite of the essential oil scents, and this lotion has a very real scent of lavender (it contains organic lavender flower).  The lotion itself is quite thick and rich, and is colored white.  When this bottle gets less than half full I have a hard time getting it squeezed out through the small hole in the cap, so I think the full sized version might work better in this aspect. Although I love the natural organic ingredients, I am disappointed in the overall moisturizing aspects of this lotion.  It feels good during the application process, and although it feels greasy initially, that feeling does not last.  Neither does the feeling of having soothed, moisturized hands.  I hate to knock any Avalon Organics products because there are a lot of them that I really love, but this is not one of them.  If this sounds like a product you might like to try, I would suggest buying the trial sized bottles first to see if it will work for you. Scent I love the scent of lavender so I really like the scent of this lotion. It uses real essential oils so it smells like REAL lavender. Avalon Organics hand and body lotion lavender moisture maximization is a great lotion.  It's a safe effective pro-organic body care without artificial colors, synthetic frangrances or parabens.  Contains triple dose of lipid sources of certified organic sunflower, flaxseed and coconuts oils.  When you apply the lotion, it goes into your skin without any greasy feeling and your skin stays hydrated and it breathes. But best of all it contains no DMDM Hydantoin in it which is a chemical that  releases Formaldehyde onto your skin.  So hard to find skin products that do not contain DMDM Hydantoin.
