This was the first product that I have ever tried from the line Avalon Organics. It is an all natural cleansing gel that feels very light on the skin. It is very effective and is definitely in my college kid budget kind of price range. the formula itself made my face feel very cool and refreshed, and the vitamin C in the product itself brightened up my face after I used it. Overall, the quality of this product is quite impressive. I would purchase it again, and I feel that it deserves a nine out of ten rating. My reason for this is because while it is a great facial cleanser, there are other ones that I've tried which I found to be more effective. Effectiveness I thought that this refreshing gel was very effective. It did take a little bit of time for it to do its job. However, once it finally started to work, I saw very pleasing results. Ease of Application This product was very easy to apply to my face. Scent I did not really think that this product produced any kind of scent.

I wanted to try a new facial cleanser and having used Avalon Organics before I wanted to see how their facial cleanser worked. While I did like the Vitamin C aspect and that it's suppose to help with cell regeneration, I didn't feel like it had cleaned my face really thoroughly. The scent was nice but then it got too strong the more I used it. I do like the fact that it contained organic ingredients as well as ingredients that didn't potentially harm my skin. If you like the strong scent of citrus then you probably won't mind this cleanser. Effectiveness I didn't feel it cleaned as well as I had thought. Perhaps it was a bit too runny but I did have to use a bit more each time just to have that thoroughly cleansed feeling. Although I did like that the Vitamin C seemed to have made my face a bit brighter, that only happened after using the cleanser for about a month. Ease of Application The pump was easy to dispense and it was a nice decent size. Just make sure not to pump too much as it was fairly loose.

I love trying out new skin care products, so having never heard of Avalon Organics before, I decided I needed to test it out. First off, the smell is absolutely amazing. It smells like fresh oranges, SO yummy! I love using this in the morning because the smell wakes me up, and the product leaves my face feeling refreshed and ready for the day. I find this product removes all the oil on my face that builds up throughout the night. I also have found my face has more of a glow to it lately, which I credit this product for. A wonderful bonus about this product is that it is all organic, which makes me love it even more! So if you are in the market for a new morning face cleanser, I would definitely recommend the Avalon Organics Vitamin C Refreshing Cleansing Gel. Effectiveness This cleanser removes all the dirt and traces of makeup left on my face in the morning! It also leaves my skin with a fresh, glowing look! Ease of Application It has a pump which makes the application of any product so much better! Scent This cleanser smells like fresh oranges! It is by far one of the best smelling cleansers I have tried.

I have used so many different face scrubs and face washes trying to find the one that works for me. I even at one point was using four different face scrubs/ face washes to get the result that I wanted. Although, once I tried this one, I haven't gone back. I love this face scrub so much, I really do. I have this one specifically for in the mornings because with the citrus/vitamin C, it wakes me up and gets me wide eyed and ready for my day. Add in the fact that my skin doesn't feel oily, dry, or itchy at all when I use this. I honestly am very happy with this product and am very surprised that it works so well. This face wash cleans out my pores and does the job of an astringent without all the itching and burning as an after effect! I love it! Effectiveness My pimples are gone, blemishes gone, blotchy spots gone, face soft and smooth, and skin feeling refreshed, yeah I would say that it works very well.

I have strange skin especially on my face where some parts get very dry and the other parts get very oily. So it is really hard to find the right soap or lotion for my face. I like to use this one in the summer because in the summer my face tends to get a bit more oily and this is a strong soap. When I use this, I do feel like all the oil gets cleansed. I don't use it in the winter because then the skin gets a bit too dry. The scent is also nice because you get a citrus burst. Effectiveness This is one of the stronger soaps in the sense that it can make your face feel dry. So I wouldn't recommend it for people with dry skin. But if you tend to have oily skin, this will get the oil off your face and keep it nice and fresh. Ease of Application It is a pump type gel so it is easy to use and apply. It doesn't foam as much but easy to rinse off anyway. Scent I like the scent of this because of the lemon scent. It makes your skin feel a bit more fresh in the morning.

I have used this product quite a bit and love it. The smell alone makes it worth while. It leaves your face feeling refreshed and clean. It goes on well and has a pump, which makes it easier to use and less messy when your hands are wet. I have already recommended this product to family and they love it also. I love finding organic products that work well and I feel better using this compared to some of the other face cleansers filled with chemicals, dyes and all that stuff. This is a great cleanser! Although I love other Avalon Organic products, this cleansing gel is not a good choice for those with sensitive skin. While you may love the fact that it is organic and full of natural ingredients, you might not want to use this if you are like me and have to be careful with what you put on your face. Whenever I use this facial cleanser, I am left with tight, taut, and dry skin: it feels like I've stripped all of the moisture out of my face and put a facial mask on. It's honestly uncomfortable and makes me run for the moisturizer. Normally, I will use another face soap for every day use, but I still end up using this one occasionally. My face does survive if I put on a good moisturizer. However, when I used this product on a daily basis, my skin liked it at first but quickly became drier and drier. So, if you have oily skin, this would be a great product but if you are at all sensitive or have drier skin, skip this product and find something else. Effectiveness A little too strong for me. Ease of Application Easy to lather up and wash your face with. Scent Pleasing fresh, citrus/orange scent, but not too overpowering.

This cleanser is very gentle on the skin and does not cause any irritation. Good for people with sensitive skin. Since it is ultra-gentle, I would recommend using a facial scrub once or twice a week with this cleanser. I currently use Avalon Organics Exfoliating Enzyme Scrub with natural Lavender fragrance. It is gentle enough for the skin and helps cleans out the pores more deeply. I normally use this cleanser twice a day and it does not dry my skin out unlike other conventional products that we commonly find in the store. The cleanser has a natural orange fragrance that can help wake me up in the morning. I would recommend this cleanser to everyone, even people with acne-prone skin. The price of the cleanser is very reasonable and considered very affordable compare to other products with organic ingredients. If you find a sale of it in store or buy in bulk online, it can be even cheaper than conventional products that contains a lot of toxic ingredients and chemicals.

Let me start by saying I have had terrible acne for many years. The Avalon Organics Vitamin C Refreshing Cleansing Gel is a great cleanser for both morning and evening. I use it every day and it has never had a negative impact on the condition of my skin. I love the fact that it is organic, with all natural ingredients including multiple vitamins whic are wonderful for the condition of your skin. I've been using the cleanser for about 6 months now, and I'm still on my first bottle. It will last the longest time, and I think it has gradually improved the quality of my skin over time. Some of the hyperpigmentation along my jawline has seemed to fade, and I believe it is due to the vitamins in this cleanser. It also has a wonderful orange smell which is quite soothing when I wake up in the morning. I highly recommend the Avalon Organics Vitamin C Refreshing Cleansing Gel to anyone with normal or oily skin who is interested in natural skin care. The price tag may be a little high compared to other cleansers, but believe me, it is well worth it. You will not be disappointed.

I have extremely sensitive skin.  Avalon Organics is one of the few I can use on my face.  Avalon has never broken my skin out.  It refreshes my skin and makes it feel smooth and clean.  I have used it on my 7 year old's skin, as well.  This product is also concentrated.  I use just a tiny bit and it lathers up well.  Avalon seems to be pricey, but it is worth the value.  I absolutely love it.
