Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion works well on very dry skin. I have tried many of the other lotions out there but this one really works well on very dry skin. It's one of my favorites, especially in the winter time when you need to apply lotion on a regular basis. Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion absorbs quickly into my skin, leaving it feeling moisturized. It does not leave a sticky residue like other lotions. I use it for my hands every winter. The best thing about it is that it stays on for a long time, and protects you, even if you wash your hands often. It doesn't come off easily, so you don't have to keep re-applying it. Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion costs a bit more than other comparable lotions, but it's worth it. The only negative point to Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion is that it does not have a great scent. But if you don't care about the scent and just want your hands to stay moist, this is a good buy. I recommend it to all of you!

Ok, so I definitely shed a tear when Jergen's stopped making their shave minimizing lotion. That stuff worked! I don't care who you are or what you say, it WORKED. Anyway, this Aveeno stuff does the same thing, but its just a lot more expensive. It does smell a lot better and seeing as how they kind of have a monopoly on the shave less lotion niche, I'm more than willing to pay for it. It doesn't leave you a just waxed feel or keep you from having to shave every day, but it does leave your legs SUPER smooth after you do shave, and it makes it much easier to shave. It also gives me a whole day of smoothness instead of feeling like I need to shave again in the evening. I have blond hair, so my problem isn't that anyone can see my hair, I just want super smooth legs. This stuff really helps!

I love this lotion!  I have very sensitive skin, so I'm always careful about what skin products I use.  I love almost all the Aveeno products and would recommend the whole line to anyone with extremely sensitive, dry skin like me.  This lotion is great - it's light and does not leave you feeling greasy.  Put it on right out of the shower and you're skin will feel great all day long.  And best of all - it really does work!

I am writing this review for **Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion**, the light blue bottle one. I believe it says unscented, but it does have some scent. And actually, that is one of the reasons I keep buying it. I don't know how to describe the smell, but I like it. Not too strong at all. But I do not use this lotion primarily to thin out my hairs (as I am a guy and I mostly apply this to my hands and face). It does however, make my skin feel smoother after I use it after a warm shower. One big con is the price- it is hard to find these on sale or for any deal. The best prices for these that I've found is some expired ones at the swap meet/flea market or at a moderate price on Amazon.com.

While I this lotion does make my face soft and has a nice scent, it positively does nothing to minimize facial hair growth. I purchased this lotion specifically for the claim that it would do just that. I was very disappointed that it did not make any difference at all in the growth or texture of my facial hair. If it did not claim to minimize facial hair growth, I would have given it four or five stars. It is lightweight and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy at all. I love the scent, it's light and fresh. I was surprised to see it have such high reviews on here. Maybe I just have industrial strength facial hair. But, I searched for the product on Aveeno's website and it only had the Positively Smooth shave gel. In fact, the two products recommended as "You might also like" were not Positively Smooth lotions at all! Apparently, they have discontinued this product. Good thing, since it doesn't work at all.

I love Aveeno lotion and **A**veeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion is no exception. I have sensitive skin but this lotion does not bother it.  It's a good consistency and not too thick.  It absorbs easily. It also helps prevent irritation after shaving. You have to use it for a few weeks solid before you notice a whole lot of difference but it does seem to thin out the hair on your legs.  It is made with soy extract that leaves your legs feeling silky and smooth.  The lotion has a light scent that is pleasant and not overpowering.   I like Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion because of its light scent and how it protects my skin.   Because I have sensitive skin, it is hard for me to shave a lot so the fact that the lotion keeps me from having to shave very often is quite helpful.  Aveeno lotion is always a little more expensive, but I find that it is always worth the money. I highly recommend this product.

i live in colorado at 8,000 feet and this works wonders. what i love about it...so here's some of the product features & my comments next to it.  - has an oatmeal formula helps protect dry skin and provide temporary relief of the scaling and chapping - i notice the difference in my dryness & scaling. it helps protect my skin especially in the winter time.the scent is all right, nothing to flutter about but it does it's job.  - contains dermatologist-recommended, natural colloidal oatmeal - pair this with the aveeno soak and you have super soft skin. i hear oatmeal is great for your skin & i don't know what it does but it's amazing.  - blended with rich emollients to moisturize your skin for a full 24 hours - i wouldn't  say for 24 hours  - definitely 6 to 8 hours but definitely moisturizes during that time but i would probably have it moisturized twice during the 24 hours period. - Naturally nourishing, nongreasy formula absorbs quickly and is noncomedogenic - it's a little greasier than i think but it's still super soft and nice to the touch.

I bought Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion when it was on sale at my drugstore.  I used it on my legs and arms after showering.  The lotion is fairly light weight, goes on smoothly and leaves my sking well moisturized.  It has a bit of a greasy feel and takes a little longer than other products to be absorbed into the skin.  It has a pleasant lotion fragrance and is a good value for the amount of lotion you get.  I am happy enough with this product and will use it up, but might not purchase it again.  It is comparable to Jergens and other similar products.  I also tried Cerave lotion and feel this lotion doesn't feel my skin feeling sticky or greasy like the Aveeno Positively Smooth can.  Overall this Aveeno product is good, does the job it is supposed to but I think there are better similar products on the market. I would recommend it to others as a good lotion for a good price.

this lotion is so good for many many reasons. first it's great for those of you who have extremely dry skin and have tried every product and nothing seems to work. it also is nice for the elderly or those of you who don't like to smell the lotion because this is fragrancce free. it's also nice because it comes in different sizes so you can take it everywhere with you, in which i recommend. i personally feel as if lotion is there to do it's job... to moizturise your hands. so this does just that and what's nice is that if you wear perfume you can still smell it and it won't mix with the lotion. the only bad thing to this lotion is that it is super expensive! and the bottles are not big at all. but you pay for what you get. and that is definately true out of this. i would not buy this and put it on all over my body but when i am dry i definately use this product and i think it's totally worth it.

         The Aveeno Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion is a great product to use when your skin is dry and cracked. This brand of producsts is one of the most recommended products I would recommend to all of my friends, family, and more! I would also reccomend keeping a small bottle possible in your handbags because it's makes your hands softer.           In addition,  the lotion is also a great remedy for cracked skin. Also, it is really good with sensitive skin escpecially if it you have bad skin allergies.  Additionally,  the Lotion is in a pump form, which makes it better for situation if you are in a rush. The formula really works and it really smooths your skin!  The price is kind of on the expensive side in some areas, while other store's have some deals that is really good.  Overall, Aveeno would be a product that I would reccommend because the price is pretty reasonable and that it really it helps your skin.
