***Quick View: ***My eyes have been looking awful lately. Allergies, dry skin, age (46), and lack of sleep really have done a number on them. I decided to try out some new eye creams to see if there is better out there than my usual standbys. This system is good as far as the cream goes but the illuminating veil is way too shimmery and only draws attention to lines and circles. ***My Take on Avon Anew Reversalist Illuminating Eye System*** This system is actually a total of .5 ounce of cream and .09 ounce of the veil. The bottom of the red jar houses a white cream. The top houses a creamy but almost powdery substance that is to be applied over the cream or anytime you want to lighten up dark circles and brighten the eye area. The cream is supposed to hydrate instantly and, over time, lessen the look of dark circles. The veil is supposed to illuminate the eye are and deflect the light to give the appearance of brighter looking eyes. The cream is good. It's white and medium consistency. It absorbs fast and feels soothing on the eye area. I used it for a couple of weeks so far and I have seen no diminishing of dark circles but I really didn't expect any. I have really deep circles and always have. They're getting worse with age and circumstance and not much can be done to TRULY get rid of them. This cream doens't look like it can do anything more than hydrate and smooth the area. But I like it anyway. It isn't too heavy and rich yet it does a great job adding moisture I need. It can be applied right before applying makeup and the area isn't greasy at all. The illumnivating veil is an almost waxy substance. You just brush your finger across the top and dot it on around the eya areas. The result is shimmery stuff all around your eyes. It may illuminate my eye area but all I see is shimmer and lots of it. Shimmer doesn't brighten or illuminate the eye area. it draws attention to it and makes me, at 46 years old, look clownish. I don't like the veil at all. ***My Viewpoint*** **Avon Anew Reversalist Illuminating Eye System** doesn't work as system for me but the cream is very nice. It is great for daytime use when I want to apply make up and have nicely hydrated eyes to start with. It isn't greasy and absorbs really fast. It leaves my eye area smooth and feeling less stressed. But the illuminating veil isn't my cup of tea. Shimmer under and around my eyes looks weird. I don't use it. I have to go with ***3 stars ***because the cream is 4 and the veil is 2 AT BEST. Younger people may like the shimmer and love this system. I got mine on eBay for a big discount and am glad I did! I wish Avon sold the cream alone.**** Absorption It absorbs fast and feels soothing on the eye area. Doesn't Clog Pores I have no issues with this clogging my pores. Effectiveness The cream is light but good for day. The Illuminating part is just a glittery, greasy veil that isn't flattering. This is best for younger skin that needs light hydration.

I really think this is a great eye care system. It has a wonderful thick eye cream and then it has an eye brightener too. I love the smooth satiny feeling of the eye brightener. I really do feel like the eye cream does a great job and have been using this system for many months and just love it. I wish it weren't so expensive though! That really is my only complaint about this product. Otherwise it is top notch and works very well. I would recommend it to anyone who has fine lines or crows feet in the eye area. I also like the reversalist day and night creams as well but again- expensive. It's almost enough to make me run back to Oil of Olay! It has to be on a really good sale or I don't buy it, but I do love it. Also- has a very nice scent that is not strong or over powering. Absorption This cream does not leave a greasy feeling behind at all and is absorbed quickly. Doesn't Clog Pores I have not had one bit of problems with clogged pores at all. Effectiveness Short of an eye lift, it's probably as good as it's going to get.

At the age of 36, I am starting to show some wrinkles around my eyes.  I don't wear a lot of makeup.  So because I am a loyal Avon customer, I decided to try this product.  I was impressed. It feels cool and silky when you put it on.  It is a little expensive, but as they say "a little goes a long way."  I wil purchase again, but I will wait for when they bundle the creams together.  For the beginning of wrinkles, it smoothes them out.

Okay so after thirty five years of life you would think that in the past what ???? 15-18 years i would have found the perfect eye cream....It took me just about that long.  I have finally found it .  It is the Avon dual eye anti aging product.  the product on the top is like butter...literally it feels like butter when you put it around your eyes.  I love the fact that one is for morning and the other for night.  Very self explanatory and it lasts forever...and not only that but it is affordable...way more than clinique or estee lauder.  And Avon usually offers some kind of bonus or bargain buy.  I love shopping with them online and then they deliver for free and my avon lady in my local town still gets her commission...it is easy, fun and great.  I love so many of avon's things that it would be hard to write reviews of all of them but this one is a must have for any gal over the age of 35.

Anew ultimate feels great around the eyes, I have used it for several years now. The claim is Reclaim brighter, younger-looking skin around eyes, after such a long time using the product, although it make my skin feel very smooth, the appearance of fine lines, and deeper wrinkles has not changed much. I will continue to use this product because although I have not seen much in results, and I use it faithfully, I have not seen any significant chages in terms of the lines and wrinkles getting any deeper or worse. With  such a reputation of sellingquality products and the ease of obtaining them I believe if better products come available Avon will introduce them into their line.

I recently purchased and used the Reversalist eye emulsion system and used it for about 3 weeks and found my wrinkles seemed to have minimized and my eyes seem a little brighter.  I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a little lift in their eye area.
