If you're looking for a great mascara that really makes every individual lash stand out without looking skinny, this is it! I got a tube from my mom, and from the first use, I was floored at how much this emphasizes my lashes. The mascara itself is quite liquid-y, so it's important to be careful not to get it too close to your lashline, or it'll end up smearing on your skin. If you have long lashes, it also may leave dots on your skin that have to be cleaned off, so be prepared with a cotton swab before it dries. Another thing I noticed is that my lashes stick together just a bit (probably because the product is so wet), so I have to comb them to separate them, which I normally don't with other mascaras. When it dries, my lashes are still fairly soft, and there's no issue with any flaking or smudging. Once done for the day, it's easy to wash off with my regular cleanser. I am so happy with how my lashes look with this product! They look full and really, really long, especially on the outer corners. For a low price, this is an amazing product!

I really like this mascara. I purchased it in the brown which is great if you are fair. I think the black looks like costume make up on me. Application brush is spaced evenly and the makeup doesn't seem to clump up. This makes application easy & quick. It stays put all day, but you don't have to scrub like crazy to get it off before bed. The avon brand makeup remover works great, but everyday soap & water will do the trick too. Another important attribute to this mascara is that it does not flake off. Ever get flakes of makeup in your eyes? It hurts especially if you have contacts. I also enjoy getting the avon catalog at work, what is better than getting in a little shopping during down time :) The black bottle is sleek and pretty. I think the neon colored ones are 1980's reminscent and hilarious, perfer not to buy them. Glad I found an alternative to the Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara that I used for years.

I've begin by saying I'm glad my mother doesn't read reviews here! This was a gift for the holidays. My mom has long purchased items from an "Avon Lady" and is a great fan of their items. I am not in most instances. Every once in a while they sell an item that is a good as department/drug store items and I would admit if this product fit in that category. I'm not a brand snob at all....but this stuff is thin (It took 4 coats conpared to my usual brand of mascara), smells very plastic-y and just didn't apply well at all. The fact it is named Astonishing Lengths is either a joke or was written by a guy that just made that up off the top of his head. It barely coats your lashes, let alone does anything that would "astonish".  If your desire is to buy something that will darken your lashes then this works. If you expect anything else out of your mascara then pretty much any other product out there will work better for you.

I have always felt that my eye lashes did not stand out.  They are short and I have always been disappointed with other mascara's.  Avon's Astonishing Length Mascara works great.  It doesn't clump or weigh down your lashes.  It's easy to wash off.  I feel like my eye lashes are twice as long when I use this product.  Avon typically offers good prices and special deals.  I would recommend this to anyone who just hasn't found the right product yet!

Avon has good mascaras, but is real good value.  I bought this when it was on sale, and will always buy it.  Astonishing lenghts is right.  I am am a mascara lover and always trying new ones.  I believe length is better than volume mascara.

I love Astonishing Lengths Mascara from Avon. It is not to pricey and covers well. I like the brush and it doesn't seem to clump until I've had it for too long. It makes my lashes look longer and fuller without looking overdone. I've been very pleased with it and have ordered it several times!

Hate it!!!!!!! Oh my gosh have i ever been soo dissapointed in my life .... to begin with the products name says     " Astonishing lengths"    ..... Not sooo lenghtnin at all ! I absolutely hate it i cant believe i paid for thi s product.   I put it and you when yo been crying and you eyelashes get alll limp and clumpy and thin looking ?????? Well thats what this product looked liek on my eyelashes they looked wet and thin like a had no eyelashes !!!! I wear really dark eyeshadow and am obssessed with my eyelashes like a itterally habe   to see them from   across the room lol and this   product was better off not being  worn and just oging  witho ut the mascara at all    .... im serious that bad. It would maybe be ok for someone who wears no eyeshadow at all ..... maybe ... maybe nut i thought it ... so in other words i would definant  tely not recomment this to no one, i dont even care if it was on sale iw ould not get it.
