I absolutely love this product! I mostly use it to moisturizer my legs right when I come out of the shower and have shaved my legs. It's a great moisturizer and soothes and razor burn or dry skin. The smell is amazing but not strong or overwhelming! If I close my eyes I'd swear I'm at the spa, it's very relaxing. I have heard that this spray also works great as a mosquito repellant. I didn't have success with that but that's not what I bought ut for so that was okay. When I use it both on my arms and legs I spray liberally. I love it in the summer to help my skin look fresh and smooth, but I also love it in the winter as it leaves your skin looking and feeling rejuvenated. It feels oily at first but I find it gets absorbed into your skin fairly quickly and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth with only a faint scent. The price is incredible and I find the bottle lasts a long time.

This product has been around for so long,but I don't think to many people ever gave it enough credit for its benefits. First off, as it implies it is a moisturizing oil for your skin. What is nice about this, unlike baby oil, is you spray this onto your skin. With baby oil you have to pour it out and it it very messy, with Avon you simply spray wherever you want it. It comes out in a fine mist and smells great. I love using this right after a shower, when the skin is still moist. A few sprays on the legs and backs of my arms, then work it in and you get super soft skin that smells delightful. This spray lasts for hours, and the scent stays on my skin all day. Now this is marketed as a bath oil spray, but for some reason it is great at keeping mosquitoes and other bugs away. It does not have the same chemicals as a bug spray, but it truly works when you are outdoors. I think this is an amazing product that is versatile and great for all skin types. I have used this product for some time now. I started using it after I discovered Avon's skin so soft bug spray - this oil is essentially the same except it doesn't contain any bug repellant. It works very well and is especially useful to me in the winter months when my skin gets very dry because of the harsh winter months. I like it because I don't have to use it daily although it is safe for daily use. Avon as a rule doesn't put harsh chemicals in their products which is a huge bonus for me especially since I have such sensitive skin. My only complaints are the scent which is a little to powdery for me - I tend to prefer more masculine or lighter fresh smelling fragrances. Also, when I use it in the shower because it is an oil it can make the bath tub a little slippery. I have found that if I put a spare towel down on the bathtub floor it will absorb a lot of the excess oil preventing my chances of slipping while taking a shower. I always make sure to give the tub a good rinse when I get out, using super hot water works best. Effectiveness I use this product mainly in the winter when my skin becomes very dry and it has helped me get though each winter without winter itch and overly dry skin. I try to stay away from oils in general as they can clog your pores but I have never had that problem with AVON Skin So Soft. For the best results I will use it with a light exfoliant in the shower and once that is scrubbed in and rinsed off I will use the body oil and let it soak in for a few moments or use it in a sauna at the gym as the steam will open your pours and allow the product to get deeper into your skin leaving your skin softer. Scent I have never really liked the smell of this product. It smells to powdery for my taste and it lingers a little too long. Usually I use it in the shower before I use soap and water as I like the way it makes my skin feel but the scent is WAY too sweet and powdery for me to want to smell like that all day.

This product is okay but I would just rather use baby oil. First of all, the oil has a funny smell. It isn't bad but it isn't great either. I don't know what to equate it to. It kind of smells a little like baby powders, but just not quite right. The oil is a spray on which is nice but at the same time, you have to work a little to rub it in. It's an okay oil for trouble spots or to just get some extra moisture on your skin. I find this helps a lot in winter to prevent wind burns and dry skin because it keeps the moisture in but it also gets on clothes and makes anything you touch for a few minutes feel greasy. It takes a little while for it to work its way into the skin and not rub off. If you use this in the shower, you have to be careful. I've slid too many times to count and a couple have been painful. For what you get, I think baby oil is a better buy because the scent of it is better. Baby oil also seems to last longer and rub in quicker. It's also great for getting into the sun and tanning with. This is not great for tanning, or at least not in my experience. It's alright but I would prefer something a little less greasy and stinky. Effectiveness It does alright at keeping moisture in and helping with chaffing in dryness. My major turnoff is that it is slick in the shower and it smells a little bad. Scent It's not unbearable or stinky necessarily but it isn't pleasant either. I prefer baby oil.

One really doesn't need a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Chemistry to work out why Avon's Skin So Soft Original Bath Oil Spray is one of Avon's most popular products. Not only does the fragrance remind me of all things pure in this world, but it is soothing to the skin and rejuvenating like no other product I know if. It works as it's most effective in a bath full of hot water. The hot water opens up your pores and the oil is absorbed deep into your skin. Healthy skin does need oil and of course, it stands to reason that the more healthy your skin, the more easily absorbed and effective it is. I rub a little of this straight into my son's skin (he suffers from dry skin and eczema) because it appears to lock in the moisture and therefore makes him less prone to dry patches. If I had to be critical, the only time I regret having used Avon's Skin So Soft is when it comes time to clean the bath. It leaves a very definite ring around the bath which is somewhat tricky to remove. But the benefits of the product far outweigh the disadvantages is causes me in highlighting where the tide came in the last time I had a bath!

I love this product! I was worried about ordering this product when my friend was selling Avon because I did not want my skin to look oily and greasy, but this product is just the opposite. It is not like normal bath oils, it is better. It goes on so smooth. I usually spray it after I get out of the shower and it absorbs so quickly and makes my skin feel so good. It is much easier to apply than a normal lotion and works so much better. My skin seems to get really dry during the cooler months and would itch and become irritated. This product solves that problem. I love the scent of this oil, it is amazing. I like to spray some in my bath water when taking a bath, it is very calming and relaxing and your skin feels amazing when you get out. This product is a must for me and when I place an Avon order, I always make sure this oil is included. Effectiveness Great bath oil that is a miracle for the skin. This spray was used by me 20+ years ago for a mosquito repellent. It is much more soothing on the skin than the more abrasive sprays (like Off and Cutters) and my mom liked the gentleness of it versus the harshness of some of the other bug sprays. Since then, mosquito repellents have come in much gentler, bath oil type forms, but long before those, we used Avon skin so soft. Effectiveness Very effective in keeping mosquitos away in [most] environments. Now that we live in the woods with lots of tics, we have to be very intentional about using spray with deet. But at the park or outdoor concerts, this definitely does the trick. It does leave an oily residue on your skin when sprayed directly on it, but when it is used in its intended form, for a bath, it leaves a soothing feeling and softness with very little oily residue. It also comes (or used to come) in a bottle without a spray lid, but I think the spray lid has gotten way more popular because so many use it to keep bugs away. Scent The scent is very mild and light but not overpowering.

My grandmother used to be an Avon rep and introduced me to Skin So Soft original bath oil spray years ago and I can not live without it now! I always have at least two bottles floating around my home. I spray this body oil on during hurried mornings after I towel off after a hot shower. It saves me time over applying lotion. I can't skip the moisturizing completely because of how dry my skin gets and this spray oil gets the job done quickly and easily. It doesn't take long to absorb into the skin and it makes my skin very soft all day long. It also has a nice clean scent that's not too overpowering so it doesn't fight with my perfume! This oil spray is a must have in the summer time! I really love the smell but the bugs sure don't. I would get eaten alive by the mosquitoes during my summer fishing trips if it wasn't for this body oil. There's literally a million other ways to use this product as well. I use it in my hair, removing sticky price tags, loosening up stuck items around the household and I'm sure there's a million more ways to use this oil. I would highly recommend Avon Skin So Soft spray body oil for every household.

Okay so let me start off by saying that I have dermatitis, Trina vise color however skin so soft is one of the few items I use. Most items really irritate my skin and cause me to break out. This is one of the product that I have to use because it works so well. After a while my skin got softer (with daily use) and appeared healthier. Now here is the real shocker not only did it appear healthier it WAS healthier. When I went back to my doctor I was amazed and I even cried a little bit. That was like a year or so ago and to this day I still use it faithfully. I use this stuff anytime. I even keep a bottle in my purse. If I feel a little dry or just washed my hands or even sometimes just because I love the smell I'll just spray a nice amount on and go along with my day. I really recommend this product to anyone who has skin problems (HOWEVER depending on your issues you should always ask your doctor first)

I have to give this highest marks. This was my go-to product all summer long. I have to confess, I would also spray it on to go outdoors to the park so I could walk my dog without being driven crazy by bugs. So it is super handy in so many ways. After a bath or just to spray on as a moisturizing refresher. Effectiveness Very effective indeed. A little goes a long way and it really works in nicely into the skin for a deep moisturizing and skin protection. It doesn't matter if you have sensitive skin or not, this really works for just about anyone. It's very gentle, but very effective. Scent Oddly enough, I enjoy this SSS scent more in this spray on form. I think it diffuses it better -- however that works, it makes the scent softer and I like that.
