This is not a FANTASTIC vacuum - but it does the job and will last! I love the filter and it catches a ton of stuff. We've had ours for quite a while and it puts up with some serious abuse. We have 2 small children and a shedding dog and this vacuum has certainly held its own. My only 2 complaints would be the weight, it is a little heavy for hauling up and down stairs and the smell when its time to clean it out. My husband is great about shaking out the filters/replacing them and its helps, but when its time to do so I smell it. But I could just have a sensitive nose. Maneuverability It moves nicely but is a pain the you know what when you've got to get the corners or ceilings and you have to pull the hose off and put on an attachment, but so are most upright vacuums so I can't really knock it too much for that. Ease of Maintenance I don't do the maintenance myself, my husband does. He never complains about it and he finds it easy to order replacement belts when needed or replace filters. We've had the vacuum so long we've done this a few times and the parts are reasonably priced and easy to order on amazon.com. Suction Performance Was much better when we first got it - but that was years ago so I have to say it had held up really well! Versatility Picks up just about everything and we use it on hardwoods, high carpet, low carpet, tiles, etc. Seems to work well on just about every surface. Design Standard upright design, it is easy to replace things and empty to container. Durability Lasts forever! I told my husband I wanted a dyson when we got married and he said when this one dies I can get one - it's still going strong!

I recently bought a Bissell Healthy Home Upright Bagless Vacuum, following the death of my other Bissell, a lower model, which I also really liked. For me typical vacuum use is hardwood floors, throw rugs, couches, curtains, and upholstered benches. I bought this vacuum since it was slightly upgraded, and had a hepa filter, which is really important to me since I have pretty severe allergies, as does one of my daughters. The vacuum is terrific. It is easy to maneuver (so much so that my three year old can do it). It has great attachments for those hard to reach places, and the canister is incredibly easy to empty. Really just one click! The vacuum runs very smoothly, and leaves my house noticeably cleaner. I have been using it for about nine months, at least twice a week, and it still runs just as well as the day I bought it. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone, and challenge them to find a better vacuum for the same cost!

I received this vacuum from a Dr. Oz giveaway last year at Christmas. I gotta say I was kinda wondering how it would work especially since I an many others received it free. It is ABOSULTELY AWESOME. I love this vacuum! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a vacuum. It is so easy to clean out one click the bottom opens and all the dirt comes out. So easy to clean. I also love how you can pick if you want to use the brush when vacuuming. It is a very durable, very easy to maneuver around the house, and still looks as if it is brand new it has held up so well! Suction Performance I never have a problem with it not getting everything off the floor.

I iniatally picked this vaccum over other vaccums that were either more expensive or in the sae price range becuase it has a hepa filter that traps that dust and other contaminates inside te vaccum. I suffer from many allergies so a vaccum that catches the dust was a huge must have for me. I also loved how the vacuum is bagless. It saves money and allowes me to be a little greener by not throwing away vaccum bags. Its a great vaccum and catches and contains all the dust particles. When I empty the dust bin I do it outside to keep all the dust outside but beyond that I am very happy with it.
