Everything is amazing about this mascara other than the tube doesn't have enough in it or dries out somewhat quickly. I used this everyday until it was gone! Now I use something a little less spendy but this Buxom mascara is perfect for me. It applies soooo evenly it's like a dream. It separates and defines them the first stroke through and after a second or third swish through I get the volume and length I am aiming for. I like very dramatic lashes so anyone going for a natural look would have to swoop this through once and you're done. No clumping, no weird spidery chunky lashes when you go over it. The formula and brush work so so so perfectly together that your eyelashes seriously end up looking like really nice falsies or how mascara SHOULD look: like your own eyelashes but darker, longer and more fanned out. This is honestly my favorite mascara. Easy and fast to apply due to the one and done nature of Buxoms applicator/wand shape.

The Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara has one of my favorite brushes compared to other brands I have tried before. I love the smoothness of the brush and the ease of applying mascara to my eyelashes. The feeling is great and it brushes right on without clumps of mascara all over the place. I got this as a gift from a friend and totally thanked her for the gift after I tried it. This mascara will be one of my regulars, but the downside of it is that it isn't waterproof so I'm a little careful in always using it. Thus, if I was going out for a long day, I will probably chose to wear a different one, but for a few hours, this is my go-to mascara! Performance I really like this mascara, it would be even better if it was waterproof! Ease of Application The one thing I love most about this mascara is the brush because it is so easy to apply the mascara leaving no clumps!

This is an excellent everyday mascara, best suited for daytime (workplace) use. The plastic teeth of the brush do a fantastic job at separating and defining your lashes, and the formula is relatively thin, allowing for buildable length. I alternate between using it with and without primer - not surprisingly, I get better length with primer. It doesn't do much for me in terms of volume, so I usually layer a more intense mascara underneath if I'm going out at night. However, it does hold a curl pretty decently. The formula feels a bit more liquidy than most other mascaras I've tried, but not necessarily in a bad way - like I said, it allows for building length (and a tiny bit of volume, I suppose). The best thing about this mascara, though, is that I've pretty much never had a problem with clumping, even after a few coats...and this is coming from someone whose mascaras always seems to clump, even if only a little bit. I don't even need to use a lash comb after! Overall: would highly recommend for a daytime mascara. If you have naturally full lashes, this might be all you need for even a more intense, nighttime look. Otherwise, if you have shorter/thinner lashes like me, layer this on top of a volumizing mascara.

I am a mascara girl, i wear it everywear.... no matter where.  I got a free sample of buxom mascara in blackest black from sephoria, lately i have not been spending tons on mall make-up simply because i can't afford to.  This mascara is way expensive.  The sample they provided me with was actually a decent size.  I liked the brush, very thick, and i liked the fact that it came with "instructions" (like wiggle the brush from the bottom for added volume, turn the brush for curl....ect).  The first use is always the best use it was wonderful. I love how the brush helped volumize my lashes.  The second use was a little wetter and clumpier and was messy, started to clump and smudge easily.  If i wipe some off with a tissue it is great.  Its a thick brush so it will hold lots of mascara.  The tube dried up really fast...even tho it was a sample. It runs easily to.... if they have a waterpfoof i would suggest the waterproof version.

I am always on the hunt for a fantastic mascara. **Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara - Blackest Black **is a nice true black color and it seems to hold up okay with minimal flaking - by the end of the night it did crumble off but I always put a lot on - this took about 5 coats to get a decent length on my lashes. **Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara** is said to be good for your lashes because it's silky and vitamin rich. It has a decent wand length and the brush is big (which I like) and nicely shaped into an hourglass so you can really be sure to coat each and every lash. I am a lover of the **Bare Escentuals **product line and a FREAK about mascara, so I had to try **BE's Buxom Lash Mascara **when I saw it sitting on the shelf so pretty at Sephora. I feel that this **Buxom Mascara **gives you a great deal of volume even though the product is very thin and wet - my least favorite characteristic of any mascara. It was extremely wet to the point of smearing under and over my eyes when I tried to put it on which is so annoying...makes applying your make-up take 3 times longer than necessary. I found when I let my** Buxom Lash Mascara **sit for a week or two (to dry out a bit) and came back to it, I liked it much better. It defines my lashes more than most mascaras and doesn't flake. It is a nice everyday mascara but I didn't find that it gives me that "wow" lashes look that I like.** Buxom Lash Mascara **is definitely not for dramatic looks! I was mildly disappointed in this mascara, mostly because the majority of the Buxom Line is fantastic.

So I hated the bare escentuals mineral foundation, but I love this mascara! The brush is not a bristle but more like a rubbery wand. I haven't tried many drugstore brands, but from what I've seen there are comparable products. This was the first of this type that I used.  Previous to this, I used smashbox mascara, which worked okay.  This mascara makes my lashes look amazing! It's not clumpy at all and it goes on smoothly and doesn't make my lashes get stuck together.  It's not waterproof though, so at the end of the day, I usually have a little under my eyes, but I'm used ot frequently touching up.  It also might just be transfering because of the under eye concealer I'm using is so creamy, I've never tried wearing only mascara to test this out.  It doesn't dry out or become flakey either , like other mascaras. I haven't had the problem where little bits fall off into my eyes with this mascara, which is really important since I wear contacts!

All I use is the Bare Escentuals Mineral make-up and love it - but I would have never thought about buying their mascara.  This mascara is great.  It is my new favorite!  I have sensitive eyes and I wear contacts, so I always find mascara bothering me either when I first put it on, or later on in the day. This doesn't bother my eyes at all. The brush is gigantic.  The brush is fantastic!  Larger than other brushes, but very easy to use to apply the mascara evenly while coating the whole lash. It goes on quickly and evenly and I had no flaking.  I feel like my eyelashes look like the girl's in mascara commercials-beautiful. So full and they really pop out with this mascara.  You will get both length and volume with this product.  I will definitely purchase this one in the future. It doesn't clump or flake, it just makes my long lashes even longer and thicker.  The price is just right too!

I am a huge fan of Bare Escentuals, especially their Flawless Definition Mascara.  However, when I ordered something from them, the kit came with this Buxom Lash mascara.  I was hesitant to try it because I liked my other mascara so much, but thought I would give it a shot.  The first time I put it on, I was not used to the long brush bristles and it left little black dots on my eye lids.  That was a little annoying.  But, it really gave my lashes lots of volume and went on so smooth.  I liked that it coated my lashes easily in a couple of strokes.  It can be a little bit clumpy, but not too bad for a volumizing mascara!  It stays on pretty good, but does flake and rub off through out the day. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by it and I use it pretty often for the more furry eyelashes look than the Flawless Definition can give me.  I just make sure to carefully apply it and watch for clumps.

I am such a huge fan of Buxom Lash mascara (and in fact the entire Bare Escentuals line).  I purchased both this mascara, and the extremely highly (and probably over-) rated Dior Show mascara.  Buxom Lash is a much better product.  The wand's bristles are hard and stiff, and as a result it is very easy to avoid clumps - you can see them on the wand, so just wipe them off prior to application, and it goes on very smoothly.  The color is super dark, dramatic black.  It thickens, volumizes and lengthens lashes.  It is super long-lasting, and won't smudge at all.  In fact, it takes a good eye makeup remover to take this off at night (I use Bliss Lid + Lash Wash Makeup remover, which is very gentle yet effective.)  I do wish there was a waterproof version though - I trust this product for all day use, but certainly not for going to the pool or beach or anywhere I will be sweating heavily. I also love that this product is paraben free, Bare Escentuals products always seem so much more natural and generally higher quality than other cosmetics lines.

Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Blackest Black has been my favorite mascara since I started using it over a year ago. The wand is large, the mascara goes on evenly, and the color is super black which I love because it makes your eyes pop out more. I rarely experience any clumping and because the wand has so many tiny pieces, it's easy to take any clumps out. This mascara is also paraben free which is good to know since it can get in my eyes on occasion. I have also never experience any eye irritation from this mascara which is perfect for me especially because I wear contacts on a daily basis.  This is not a waterproof mascara so it washes off  pretty easily, but it also stays on really well. I don't have to re-apply during the day unless it gets absolutely soaked. This mascara is priced more in the middle (not high end, but definitely not low end) but overall it's definitely worth the price.
