I found this Basis bar of soap for sensitive skin years ago when I was looking for something to help my eczema. This worked great. Even when my eczema is doing pretty good I still have sensitive skin, so I'm pretty picky about which products I try on my skin. This bar of soap worked well. I also like to find products that are free of fragrances, dyes and chemicals. This one is and is a more natural soap. It also has chamomile and aloe vera in it, which was nice. There really isn't any scent to this, but I was looking for something like that. These are a pretty good price for something that helps sensitive skin and skin problems. I have switched to other products since this, but would use this again. It goes on well and works. It also seems to last me longer than other soaps do. It was a great soap! Effectiveness It is effective in helping sensitive skin. It did well at getting your skin clean and not bothering skin problems. Scent It really didn't smell like anything, but it was fragrance free.

I've been using Basis Sensitive Skin Bars off-and-on since childhood. I have sensitive skin and occasionally have bad outbreaks of eczema on my arms and legs. Thankfully, these episodes have become much less frequent over time, but when they happen, I use Basis until they clear up. Other gentle soaps would probably be fine too, but I know that Basis is a safe choice that won't further irritate the affected areas. My biggest gripe about Basis Sensitive Skin Bars is that they can be a bit difficult to find locally; I usually order mine online, but this means I have to think ahead so I have them on hand if eczema strikes. They are a bit pricier than other soaps but I don't mind paying a premium for a product that I know works for me. Effectiveness Basis Sensitive Skin Bars get your skin clean very gently, without dryness or irritation. Scent Basis Sensitive Skin Bars have very little scent, which is ideal, not only because they don't have perfumes to irritate my skin, but also because it means they aren't too feminine for my husband to use too.

For me, this is just a basic soap. It doesn't have too many fancy features, no notable colors or scents, it's just soap. It cleans my hands and doesn't dry them out and rinses off effectively. However, it is one of the only soaps my dad is able to use because he has a bad allergy to soap and soap fragrances. If you have allergies and extremely sensitive skin you should try this. For years it has been the only soap my dad buys.

I love the handhold I can get on DOVE, but it's subject to meltdowns if not properly drained. **BASIS SENSITIVE SKIN BAR**, however, holds its own in the shower or at the sink. While it sudses up, it doesn't do so effusively like most soaps (including DOVE). Perhaps that's one of the reason **BASIS** rinses off so easily. Because **BASIS** has no fragrance and (as you will see below) no harsh chemicals, it lends itself to cleaning of wounds or healing injuries in the most delicate of places. This is the best soap I've ever used on my body. My son has a very bad case of excema and we tried everything even the super fancy soaps and lotions to treat it and prescription things too. Our dermatologist finally recommened that we try Basis for Sensitive Skin, and WOW--what a difference it has made in our lives! Immediately his excema inflamation came down. I even started using it myself in the shower and the bumps I have always had on the backs of my arms are now completely gone! My only companint with this soap is that it is not that easy to find at stores. Some Targets carry it and some CVS's carry it. I usually get it at drugstore.com. It is a bit more expensive than using like Dial or Dove, but so way worth it!!! When we run out and I have to use a different brand, I am always reminded how good Basis is. Prior to using Basis we used Caress, but now we are loyal to Basis for the whole body.  dont use it on my face but my son does.

I used to use Proactiv for my troubled skin.  I started using Basis and got away from Proactiv and it's been wonderful for my skin!  I still have the occassional flare ups, but it doesn't seem as bad.  Also, it saves money from what I was spending on Proactiv. I highly recommend Basis.

I have really sensitive skin and been disappointed before with other products, even facial cleansers, labeled for sensitive skin. This bar cost less, lasted longer, and performed better than anything else I have ever tried. I've never had any issues with sensitivity using this product. It also smells great - clean and mild. My only issue, is finding it!
