We own one of the extra large big green charcoal grills and have had nothing but good experiences with it. However, being only two people it feels impractical to use the extra large for anything except entertaining guests. We found this mini grill to be perfect for the two of us. It's cooking surface is 9 inches in diameter. You can cook a few pieces of fish or in our case, we wrap vegetables and chicken in aluminum foil and cook them on this grill. You have to be very careful because it will overcook your food very quickly. I mentioned this when I was giving a review elsewhere and was told that is because the ceramic plate setter aka heat deflector is not produced for this. Which is a pity. Versatility If you're talking versatility in terms or portability, its a bit too heavy to lug around with you. However it is easy to wheel under a table or hide somewhere if you don't want it in sight. When it comes to cooking versatility, there's not much we haven't cooked on it. Ease of Cleaning Cleaning is easy. Durability We've had ours a long time with no issues. Design Great design, just like all the other Big Green Egg grills. There's no flaws in this unless you consider heaviness
