This is the worst stick vac I have ever had. The design is horrible. I honestly wish I had never bought it. It is hard to use and is all around a bad purchase and I cuss it every time I use it. I'm going to celebrate the day I just throw it out lol

I was very skeptical about trying this model but found many positive reviews online. I have used several vacuums over the years and this is the best pet household vacuum available. Been using for over a year and havent had any issues with a house full of cats. Picks up all hair, kitty litter and food with ease. The design makes it easy to maneuver around tight spots and corners. it adjusts by pulling back while flat on floor for those long extensions. The unit doesnt get clogged by dry food or pet hair like many other units. This model is only recommended for hardwood floors as mentioned on box and adverts The suction is very strong so it will get stuck on other types. Very lightweight for lifting around house and very thin for compact homes. Comes with long cord for less socket swapping. Maintenance is a breeze. Pull out container, dump and reload. Highly recommend.

I have a Bissell PowerEdge Hard Floor Vacuum at my house and I absolutely love it. I can't do without this product. I first saw this at a relative's place and was amazed by its performance. True to its advertising, this vacuum cleaner is capable of capturing debris and dirt that typically can only be achieved using a broom and dustpan. This also cleans easily on low pile area rugs and around furniture legs. The dirt cups are pretty easy to empty out and hence cleaning is not difficult at all. It is a great equipment for hard floors and it can make your rugs look like new. I have another vacuum but that does not clean the hard wood or ceramic floors so I decided to purchase this item for that specific function and I must say I wasn't disappointed at all! You will definitely be impressed by this light-weight vacuum unit because it is very easy to maneuver and works great on collecting debris, pet hair, nail clippings and other small things that are left behind by any regular vacuum. I was going crazy with the dog hair that I would happen to sweep up off of my hardwood floors! It was intense! Our new doggy was creating such a message I needed a way to make the hair tolerable. I searched and searched, and after much research came up with this little vacuum. It is awesome! My entire home is hardwoods. It is so easy to vacuum now, and the suction is great. It's light enough that my 9 year old can use it. It has made my chore much more tolerable, and my floors much cleaner. After using it for a month, I am singing it's praises! Only down side is that the cord is a little too short. Maneuverability Usually very easy to maneuver, but sometimes difficult to go under my kitchen cabinets. Design Needs longer cord

I have had my Bissell PowerEdge Hard Floor Vacuum for a couple of months now. I bought it after being hugely disappointed with the lack of suction of the Swiffer floor vacuum. My whole house is hard floors throughout and I needed something durable, portable and not wimpy with the suction. This vacuum meets all those requirements. It gets in corners. It gets along edges. The unique triangular shaped head is wonderful in some instances and a hindrance in others. For example, the triangular head lets you push the vacuum right up to the edge of couches and other rectangular-shaped furniture and get two sides at once, but it gets in the way when you want to push the vacuum in tight spaces. Other than that, I love it, it does a great job on my floors, has great suction, easy to maintain. One improvement I would love to for this vacuum is maybe a hose with attachments to get into those tight areas.

I am embarrassed to admit how much money I have spent on vacuums the past few years. I still have all of those pricey, big name vacs lined up in my utility room but I now use them to hang clothes on instead of clean the floors. The biggest reason is that they do not work like this little guy does. Aside from 2 area rugs, we have no carpet in our home (all laminate, tile or stained concrete.) I could not find a vacuum that would actually suck up dirt, food particles or hair without kicking half of it out the back including the highest end vacs. I picked this Bissell up at a bargain, figuring if it did not work, I would not be out much. I was blown away at the performance! This lightweight stick vac was doing everything those others could not. It has a direct suction system and the design of the head bounces the dirt around until it is sucked up. I have had it a year with no loss of suction and no problems whatsoever. Maneuverability It does take a few vacuum sessions to get used to the design but once you adjust, it is fabulous. This design allows you to cruise right around table legs and take corners on in ways you have never before. So lightweight it takes no effort. Ease of Maintenance The dirt cup detaches for easy dumping with little maintenance required. Suction Performance Superior suction!!!! Will be dumbfounded by its size relative to the suction power. I use this on all the loose litter around the cat box. I have never had a vacuum that would pick it up before. I would have to take off the hand tool and spent quite a bit of time working my way around the area. Not any more! Versatility I use it on the area rugs as well as all the bare floors. It certainly sucks up the loose carpet fibers and gets the pet hair off the rugs. Design Whoever came up with this design deserves a raise! This was the first time I had seen such a strange looking vacuum head but we made friends immediatly. Durability I actually bought a backup just in case this product did not last long. For the price, I could afford to stockpile a few and justify them only lasting a short period of time. I have not been let down though, the original I bought has been with me for a year and still performing as good as the first day I took it out of the box.

I hate using my regular vacuum cleaner on the hardwood floors to attempt to pick up pieces of litter and cat hair. I did a lot of research and decided to purchase the Bissell PowerEdge Hard Floor Vacuum. It was on sale at Kohl's and with my 30% off coupon I got a great deal. I love the way the head is made - you can get right along the edge of the baseboards, door frames and easily up close and around the kitchen table legs, kitchen chair legs and other pieces of furniture. It swivels to turn it the direction you want to go. It is amazing. I actually look forward to using this now. With my other vacuum cleaner, I had to go back along the door frames & baseboards with the crevice tool. Now I can quickly do the floors with ease. It has a 20' long cord, bagless, strong 5 amp motor, only weighs 7-1/2 pounds, 1 year manufacturer warranty and makes my life a lot better. It does allow air to escape by the canister so the wind tunnel works properly, so don't be surprised when you feel that. You might want to give this product a try. Maneuverability Lightweight and easy to use with long cord. Ease of Maintenance Very easy to remove canister to empty dirt. Suction Performance Picks up litter and cat hair plus other items with ease. Versatility This is only made for the hardwood or tile floors, not carpet and has no attachments. Design I love the design of this - it goes easily into corners, against table & chair legs, along baseboards; lightweight, canister is easily removed - no complaints about any of the design of this. Durability I have had no problems with this so far.
