We got this handy Black and Decker dustbuster a few months ago as an upgrade from our former, 5 year old, Dustbuster. The old machine still serves us well, but we wanted to get something a little newer to keep in our main living area. This fits the bill! We use this every day and it has tackled whatever life throws our way, or at least in terms of dirt. We have two young boys and a problem with cheerios that breed on our floors overnight. This can get in all those hard to reach crevices, including under kitchen appliances and in the creases of couch cushions. It is great on all surfaces that we've tried including hardwood, rugs, carpet, vinyl flooring, upholstery and window coverings. And, I just discovered that the attachment can rotate so that your handle is convenient when switching to a new angle. I love the power on this machine and am glad that we went for a more powerful, newer device because it makes clean up so much easier. I do recommend unloading the canister before it fills up because it is quite large and it could sit in there for quite some time if you don't empty it periodically!

This DusterBuster holds a charge for up to 18 months and you can even charge a partially charged battery without without fearing you will hurt the battery's longevity. The Black & Decker DustBuster has a removable, washable bowl and filter which saves money compared to other vacuums with replaceable filters. It has on board accessories which includes a flip-up brush and extendable crevice. The cyclonic action gives this handheld vacuum a powerful suction for a cordless vacuum. Overall, I like the features and performance of the Black & Decker Dustbuster CHV1410L.
