I really like this mower.  I'm a single lady and one of the things I dreaded most about buying a home was yard work.  This mower makes the chore a littler easier to endure because I don't have to fill up a gas tank or any maintenance really.  And as long as I remember to charge it, I can mow anytime.  I also like how it folds up for easy storage in my garage during the off season.  It is kinda pricey but overall worth it.  You save on gas, oil and labor.

This is a great mower if you have a small yard and want to avoid the hassle of a gas mower.  We love our Black and Decker cordless mower.  While we do have a larger lot, it is fenced into different small sections and this mower is great for us.  We mow one or two sections at a time, and then recharge the battery overnight before moving to the next section of lawn.  If you have a large yard to mow, you're better off going with a gas mower, but for a small yard it is perfect! Some of my favorite things about this mower: Quiet - One of the best qualities of this mower is that it is so much quieter than a gas mower.  My husband loves to listen to podcasts or music while mowing the lawn, and with this mower he actually can.  While it does still make some noise, it's more like the sound of a vacuumn cleaner than a gas mower.  Easy to Start - No more tugging and straining with a pull-cord!  All you have to do is insert the safety key and squeeze the lever and this mower starts right up.  I love that I can easily stop and start the mower if needed.  It's so easy! No Messing with Gas and Oil - All this needs is an electrical plug (or solar panel if you want to adapt the battery for that), so you don't have to mess with buying and changing gas and oil.  This also means the mower can be folded up for storage and even tipped over for cleaning, without worrying about flooding the engine or otherwise damaging the machine. There are a few things we don't like about this mower though, that will hopefully be changed in the future: -The nuts used on the handle are plastic and break easily. -The wheel base is large and doesn't turn very easily. - The mower is heavy. But overall we have found it worth the investment.

My husband bought this mower when faced with tuning up his old gas-powered mower for the summer. There was also a great offer for cash when you turned in your old one. Our yard is under .25 acres, and he is able to mow it all on one charge if he has not let the grass get ridiculously high. When it's gotten high, he mows most of it, plugs it in while he weedeats, and by the time he's done with that there's enough charge to mow the remainder. It is so quiet compared to the old one, and it is very easy to change the blade height and make other adjustments. He has loved using it, and there's no messy oil or gas! Great product.

My husband bought me the Electric Cordless Black and Decker Model # Cmm1200. I have arthritis issues in my hands. I was concerned how this would work. I was VERY pleased with it! No longer did I have to pull the cord to start the lawn mower! It used to take me forever to get the lawn mower started. I could not understand how to get it started at first. You have to insert a key. (No I'm not blonde...Grin) I called customer service and spoke with a very patient man. He explained everything. I was also pleased with the amount of charge the lawn mower took. I plugged it in over night. I have mowed our yard 3 or 4 times on this charge. Granted, our yard is not large. But, I felt that was pretty good. The catch bag is easy to use too! I was able to empty it out with little problems. Oh! I have mowed the yard without the catch bag, too. The yard looked GREAT! I would highly recommend this lawn mower.
