The Black & Decker All-in-One Automatic Bread Maker has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It is easy to use and produces great bread. We use it every week because it is great to be able to make so many different kinds of bread such as Oatmeal, Cheese, or Onion. We also use it to make perfect pizza dough. It is quick and simple to clean as the bowl goes in the dishwasher. I highly recommend this bread machine if you like homemade bread.

We are on to our second Black & Decker bread maker. The first was a wedding gift, but in under a year it simply stopped working, the temperature control died and therefore the bread didn't rise enough before cooking. Black & Decker was good enough to send a replacement since it was under warranty, and this hasn't failed in the same manner yet. We did manage to easily give away our old one for parts to someone who had experienced a motor failure in their machine and needed to fix it. It seems common to find problems with their bread makers. The inside of the machine ages and corrodes very easily. We were extra careful with the new replacement one, hoping to keep the inside from becoming so disgusting, however, it doesn't seem to matter what you do, the materials are just not good enough and the inside begins to decay and corrode. This doesn't touch the bread directly, but does concern me in terms of how long the product can realistically last when it ages so quickly.

The Black and Decker all in one automatic bread maker is a great addition to my kitchen.  I received mine for Christmas years ago and use it every month at least once a month.  For my family I usually bake a 2lb. loaf of bread each week.  I love to get my machine started and then let it do the rest.  It makes a nice quality loaf of bread in a couple of hours.  The consistency of the loaf is almost that of a loaf of store bought bread but so much healthier and fresher without preservatives.  I also use my Black and Decker bread machine to stir up heavy dough that is to hard for my hands and arms to stir up by hand.  It is a real helper.  I can set it on the dough pasta setting and put my ingredients in and let it do the hard work.  When it is done I take my dough out and pan it up; wait for it to raise and then pop it in the oven.  It is just an excellent machine that is so versatile my kitchen and I would be lost without it.

I bought this bread machine because I thought that it would be a great product for the price and for my needs. All in all I believe it to be. I should preface the rest of this by saying that I DO NOT bake bread in the pan. I have and I do not like it for that because it's not my style, but it did not do a bad job at it. Everyone that ate the bread loved it. The only negative about it was that the crust was rather thick and chewy. I use this machine to mix and proof and then shape and bake outside. This works great for me for that because it does an excellent job mixing and the environment for proofing all different breads is perfect. I occasionally have to spray a tiny bit of water on top if it starts getting dry because it is a dryer dough. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to shape their bread and then bake in the oven (rolls, bagels etc.) and is looking for the perfect conditions to mix and proof without all of the manual labor or mixing it properly.

I got this bread maker as a gift for my birthday this year. I am a person who loves to cook and i was excited when I got this present! I couldn't wait to try it out. Cinnamin-Raisin bread is my favorite, so that was the first type of bread I tried to make. The panel on the front is very easy to use and i liked how you could look at the bread while it was cooking. I followed the instructions to a tee and my bread burned! I immediately thought i did something wrong, so after cleaning up the burnt bread inside the maker (which was a feat in itself), I tried it again. More burnt bread! This was the first time I have ever tried to make my own bread, so i figured it was me. I tried a different recipe and the cinnamon rolls didn't burn as much, but still had that burnt taste to them. im glad the person that bought this for me didn't spend a whole lot of money because i have no used it in months. i will eventually buy another bread maker, but you can bet that it wont be this model!
