I love having this type of oven in my kitchen for energy efficiency and speed! This oven feels solid and well made- and it looks great in brushed stainless steel and black. The clear glass front makes it easy to check on the progress without opening the oven door. It fits a 12 inch pizza, a small casserole, or enough toast to feed all the children! There are several different cooking options, with clearly marked buttons. The display is easy to read. The timer can be set for up to two hours. The oven temperature can be adjusted by 5 degree increments. Preheating is quick and the oven maintains a steady temperature. The fan is surprisingly quiet and helps cook the food more evenly. Just keep it at least 2 inches from the top element and watch it to avoid burning. You may want to rotate larger items once during cooking to ensure even browning- or add foil after browning if it needs to cook a bit longer. This oven does a nice job of toasting on a low setting. Pans included with the oven are a standard broiler pan and baking tray and a pizza pan. For better, crispy pizza crust, bake it directly on the rack. The crumb tray pulls straight out from the front and is flat for very easy clean up. Love it!

I remember when I was in college, I used to cook things even back then. We were not really supposed to have toaster ovens in our dorms but I snuck one in anyways. Of course nobody really cared and other people used it all the time. Fast forward to today. I do a lot of cooking, and I throw a lot of parties and have even done some cooking for other people's parties, so even though I have a nice regular oven and a microhood oven it is nice to have a micro hood sized toaster oven as well to help me cook things up. I don't have it out all the time and I don't use it all the time but I always pull it out to give me more baking space when I am having company or parties. I have Black & Decker CT06301 6 slice Convection Toaster Oven. The outside and inside of the oven are made of stainless steel so it will last a lot of years and continue looking nice. The Black & Decker CTO6301 toasts, bakes, and broils. When my oven was broken a few months ago I would cook steaks and pork chops on the boiler setting. I also baked a pork roast, and a beef roast in it. So it was really nice to have this when I could not use my regular oven. It's actually big enough to put a couple of chickens in there snugly. It is nice to use in the summer time too as you won't have to heat up your whole kitchen to cook something up. It has an adustable temperature control and for safety it shuts off automatically after 120 minutes. That is a good thing because it can get really hot. Don't tough the outside of this little oven after you have been cooking in it or you will burn your self, also don't place anything on top of it or it will melt. This oven is extra deep as well, most toaster ovens can't fit a full sized frozen pizza but this one will. It also makes the pizza taste nice browns up the crust even nicer than my large oven, so sometimes if we are having a frozen pizza we will pull this out to cook it. You can even adjust the oven rack so if you need to cook something like a chicken you can lower it down, but if you want to toast something up you can place it up more. It's measurements are: 17-3/4 by 14 by 11-1/2 inches. It has a crumb tray which makes clean up really simple. This is great for toasting things especially and for snacks and stuff that create lots of crumbs. The temperature of the oven actually goes up to 450 degrees. It comes with a baking pan. The oven has digital features and there are some built in options that make it really easy to cook or toast up certain things such as a bagel setting and a potato setting. There is no visual timer display unfortunately which means you don't really know how long something has been cooking or how much longer it has to cook. The door is nice and big and glass so you can watch your food cook. There are no lighted functions so you will need to turn the light on to use it. It beeps loudly when your food is done. This is a pretty nice toaster oven. It has some good functions. It is also very spacious, and does a nice job of broiling, baking, and toasting. A time component would be nice, but you can use an egg time for that if you need to. Even Heating Really good, I have never had anything cook un-evently. Safety It shuts off automatically after 120 minutes which is good, but it does get really hot around one side and the top so you can easily burn yourself. Ease of Cleaning It's stainless steal so it is not super easy, but if you wipe it down when it is warm it will clean up pretty well. It also has a crumb tray to catch crumbs and keep them off of your counter top. Durability It is built solidly I have had mine for a while and it seems as if I will have it for several more years. Design It's attractive as far as toaster ovens go. The large clear door is a nice touch.

I purchased my *Black & Decker Toaster and Convection Oven* to use for the times when I don't want to heat my big oven up for just a small item for a short amount of time. I like the toaster aspect of the *Black & Decker Toaster and Convection Oven*. It does a great job at cooking small items such as toast or a small pizza. I've had difficulty baking anything else in it though. It seems as even a small casserole-type dish is too large to try to cook in. I find that either my dish is too close to the bottom of the oven or too close to the top of the oven. The convection feature is not useful to me if I'm not baking in it. Also, the directions included tell you how to adjust the temperature and time if you are going to use the convection feature but I've not had success with that either. All in all, it is convenient as a "toaster" oven but not useful for baking.

There are so many choices when it comes to toaster and convection ovens these days, which makes it so difficult to decide which one to buy. I have used Black & Decker toaster ovens for a couple of decades now, and when the Black & Decker CT06301 Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking came out I was very pleased. I use this toaster everyday at least 3-4 times a day and it has not failed me yet. Some the features that I especially like about this toaster is that it has a LED screen that is easy to read. Everything is buttons instead of knobs, which I love because in my experience the knobs tend to always break quite easily. It is very quiet when cooking, and only makes beep sounds when you first turn it on and when it finishes or you stop it. It has numerous settings, with some of my favorites including a setting for frozen snacks, toast, and bagels. It also has a range of heating temperatures that range from 1 to 7, where 1 is vey lightly toasted and 7 is darkly toasted, as well as actual oven temperatures (i.e. 350 degrees). Overall, I am very pleased with its overall appearance in my kitchen and its performance.

I always wanted a toaster oven but was not sure what to buy. I am very glad I chose the Black and Decker Convection toaster oven, it has went beyond meeting my expectations!! It takes up more room on my counter space than I would like but I wanted to buy one that I could use for just about anything so I opted for a larger one and am glad I did and really don't miss the counter space at all. I can bake a pizza , a cake (13x9 straight up pan) just about anything I would bake in my regular oven but in a lot less time! It heats up very quickly, I have found that I usually set the temperature down ten to twenty-five degrees less than what most instructions call for. The few not so great things are that I use mine a lot and some of the writing by the buttons have started to wear off , I can live with that though , but it would be nice if they try to fix that problem somehow. Also the exterior does get very hot so you must make sure when it is in use you do not have it close to anything that could melt or burn, but a regular oven also gets hot so you just have to remember to use caution anytime you are using it. I am very happy with this oven & would buy another one!!

There are times when I do not want to use my regular oven since it takes so long to heat up and makes the house too warm. I bought the Black & Decker convection oven after seeing it in the store on sale. It cooks everything so well and heats up fairly quickly. I usually use it for baking potatoes or reheating pizza. If you are heating up snacks that you can also microwave, this oven works well. I found that it is not great for toasting bread or bagels, as it takes awhile to toast them. If you have a toaster, it would work quicker when making bagels. I also use it to make french fries.  On a couple of occasions, I baked boneless skinless chicken breasts that I breaded in the oven.  I think that the oven cooks/bakes quicker than a regular oven.  If you are making something that browns easily on top, I would sugegst covering it with foil until the end. Overall, I am impressed with the oven and would buy it again.

I had two ovens that had knob controls and the temp. control kept wearing off. I decided digital was the way to go but they were so expensive. B&D had a sale,the price was right and I bought it. I can't believe how good this oven works. The toast is great and fast. The convection cooking is even and  the broiler works great. I would recommend this oven to anyone that wanted a toaster that does a bit more. It's quiet,fast and the door does get hot but no hotter than your regular oven. The use of oven mitts is too small a drawback not to buy this product.

I received this toaster oven for Christmas this year and so far I love it. It has a bumped out back so you can cook a twelve inch pizza which is very convenient for teenagers. It took me a few tries to get the toast button to where I like it but now that I got it I love it. The potato button is another feature that I love. It is preset to 400 and has a preset time or fortyfive minutes, you just put your  potatoes in and forget about them it will shut itself off. My kids and I also love the cookies button. Again the time and the temperature are preset so all you have to do is put your cookies on the tray set the rack to proper position and you are done. I forgot to mention that you can change the preset temperatures and times so you have to watch the first time you use them to see if you need to adjust them to your tastes. So far the only thing that I don't like about the toaster oven is the door hinge. My oven is not on the counter proper I have a big appliance garage in a tall cabinet so there is no counter to support the door. When I open it I have to hold it because there is nothing to keep it from crashing down, I suppose this would happen on a counter too so it could break the door. This doesn't effect the functions but is a little inconvenient to have to remember to hold the door. Maybe I got a defective one my next mission is to check on that.Overall I would recommend this toaster oven to my friends and others.

We really liked this toaster oven when we bought it but it was a huge disappointment.  It actually does a nice job baking and broiling but it is a huge disappointment as a toaster.  It takes forever for it to heat up.  I could make toast faster in my primary oven.  We actually had to buy a regular two piece toaster since this toaster oven did not do the job.  When we try to bake or broil in it it really takes a long time to heat up.  We also have a terrible time with the clock on it.  It always shows an error message and we do not do anything wrong to it.  My husband is very handy and he cannot figure out what we're doing wrong. It does look really nice in our kitchen.  It's pretty high tech looking.  It's also pretty easy to keep clean.  The oven tray got trashed so we had to find another one (different brand) to substitute.  It actually works way better than the original one.  The one we bought had a nice finish on it so it's easy to keep clean.

I am a stay at home mother who loves to cook adn cooks regularly.  I love to try new things.  I had wanted a toaster oven for a long time and fianlly decided on getting one.  We originally purchased a different model.  We had it only a few months and the printed on numbers on the dials all wiped off.  So, I contacted Black and Decker.  They had wonderful customer service!  They immediately sent me the Black and Decker CT06301 Toaster Oven with Convection.  I was concerned about not getting the original toaster oven that I had, but they sent me this model which was a supposed upgrade.  However, I love this oven.  We have had it for about 8-9 months now.  We use it regularly.  With all the bells and whistles, I find myself preferring cooking with it rather than my larger oven (when possible) especially in the summer.  It has many preset features such a pizza button that you just push the pizza button then push start, and it is already adjusted to the temperature that it needs to heat to.  It also has a temperature memory.  It will automatically retrieves your previous baking temperature.  So, if you typically use the oven to cook at say 350 degrees, then when you turn it on, you just put bake and start.  The oven will start heating to 350 degrees.  The one drawback to the oven is that if you forget to press start after selecting your cooking mode and temperature, then you think that the oven in heating...but it is not.  When I was getting used to the oven and even still on occasion, I will be ready to put in my stuff to cook and will have forgotten to press start and my oven is still cold.  However, with that said, I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a toaster oven.  We use it to crisp up left over french fries or other fried items.  It heats up the food and gives it back the "crisp."  I have baked biscuits, cupcakes, peach crisp, and other baked goods in it.  You do have to watch the browning of the food.  If you see it getting brown too quickly, you can cover it with aluminum foil to slow it down.  I always reduce my cooking time by about 5 minutes to remind myself to check it. and with pizzas and larger items that reach toward the front of the oven. I always try to turn the food halfway through.  Anyway, this it a great toaster oven and so much more.
