We used this brand for our older puppy for a while. We initially switched to using this brand as our fussy eater gobbled it up out of a friend's dog's bowl. Initially she ate it more readily than her other food, but then switched back to her own habits. I like that it seems the ingredients in the food are better for your dog than regular dog food, but it is expensive, and was harder to source in a pinch (not an easy food to find if it's a late night and you've just run out).

Blue buffalo is an amazing dog food. There are so many choices and it is so good for your fur babies!! My dog and cat both live blue buffalo. Yes it may be a little bit more money but doesn't your pet deserve the best for them? The animals I have cannot wait to eat with their blue buffalo meals! I highly recommend for any fur baby. You will love it and your pet will definitely love it!!

We liked the idea of natural ingredients and it was highly recommended to us. We were first time dog owners and wanted the best for our dog. She is a purebred small breed Maltese. I thought I would mention this in case it has anything to do with why she really disliked this Blue Buffalo brand of dog food. When our Maltese Puppy was 14 weeks old we bought a bag of this food and followed all the directions about introducing new food and weening it into their diet and so forth. Our Maltese Puppy would eat around it. She would pick out the pieces of her old food and leave the Blue Buffalo. Both dog foods were made of chicken so we couldn't figure out why she didn't like this brand of Blue Buffalo. Eventually, she stopped eating her food altogether. She would walk up to the bowl and after one sniff, she would take her nose and push the bowl over. We eventually found another natural ingredient brand and she loved it.

I kept seeing commercials on television for this Blue Buffalo so when we got a new puppy, I decided that we should give it a try because he is part of the family and I liked the idea that it was all natural and did not have all of these corn bi-products in it. Our puppy, "Grunt" seems to really enjoy the flavor of this. I pour it in his bowl and he comes running to me, tail wagging as fast as he can get to that bowl so he can chow down. I have not noticed any adverse reactions. We were not home but at my moms one day and he had some of her dogs, dog food, and after we got home he had very loose stools. I have never had that problems with him since, it was only that one time, so I think that this food is definitely worth getting because I do not like cleaning up loose puppy stools whenever he has an accident (Still working on potty training). This food seems to be doing good for his stomach and he enjoys it a lot so even though it is quite expensive, I think that for him it is the right food and worth paying the extra price for.

I have a new puppy with some digestion issues and this was recommended to my by the breeder and even the vet when I took him for a check up. He could not keep anything down and seemed to have trouble passing, although he had the worst gas know to man for a little pup. Once I started giving him this everyday, I would say about a week later he was improving steadily. Even his coat seemed to have improved and fill in overnight. He vet is very pleased with his improvements, as am I since I began using this product Quality of Ingredients Real everything with this product, highly recommended. Real chicken, beef and you can actually see all of that in the product. Though it is somewhat expensive, it is well worth the cost to have healthy pets and to give puppies a running start towards long lasting health. My four year old female pitbull suffers from allergies. After a month long process of figuring out that the grain in her old dog food was the problem, we switched her over to Blue Buffalo immediately. She can not have any ounce of grain or around her eyes will turn pink, her tummy will be pink, and she will constantly chew on her back right above her tail, to the point of bleeding. Once switching her over to Blue from her previous dog food, Iams, none of that has happened. Her back once was so bald and people actually started to question if I was mistreating my dog! Now her back is full of hair and she has not tried to chew on her back whatsoever! She loves the taste of Blue Buffalo and surprisingly, so does my cat! If anyone's dog has any symptoms of allergies or you are having problems with your current dog food you should really try Blue Buffalo! It has been the best thing that has happened to my dog and is really the holy grail of dog food!

We have a 11 month old mixed Chihuahua who when we got her was being fed a lower quality food with lots of various ground meals and by products. Looking around I found Blue Buffalo was the best bet for good ingredients without having to Google what some were (like ground bone meal!). She's being switched over and already is showing much more energy, a glossier coat and more regular bowel movements.

My daughter recently got a Great Pyrenees puppy AKA my grand puppy Finley.  We noticed right away that she was having some digestive issues and the vet put her on medication for coccidia.  It didn't really clear it up after a few rounds of treatment so we researched to see if we could come up with a reason for this.  She was fine and gaining weight but the loose stool was a bit concerning. We decided to try her on Blue Buffalo puppy food and low and behold by the time she ate her way into her second bag the problem was clearing up.  My daughter talked to the vet and told her about it and what they concluded was that the puppy has a intolerence to the fillers some cheaper and some MORE EXPENSIVE dog food use in their dry dog foods.  the breeder offered to take her back when all this started but I am so glad my daughter said no and we where able to figure this out.  Finley will ALWAYS be a Blue Buffalo dog. The product is far more superior than most dog foods available. Just read the ingredients on the side of the bag. See how many vegetables and wholesome grains-not fillers- are in the brand you use. If you have a pet that is having digestive issues and has been checked out by the vet and they see no medical reason for it the chances are you also have a pet with sensitivity issues.

I researched this food before buying and found great reviews but seeing is believing!!! I have been using this food now for a little while and I will not switch back to any other petfood. This food has no bi-products ,, they use whole grains, and has these vitamins in the food and ever since my dog has been switched over his coat is shinier and he just looks better all around. This is a great and healthy food... It costs more then typical puppy chow"" but he doesnt go through the bag as fast as the cheaper stuff, he seems to get full faster and doesnt eat as much. And if it will help him skin and health wise , to me its worth it. I am happy with this food and now have the cats on it as well.
