I used this brand for a long time based on online reviews and my conclusion that it was high quality. After the veterinarian told me about some problems with this brand and it causing digestive issues in some cats I switched to Hills Science Diet. The cats like the taste of that better and they don't throw up anymore.

My cat, then 2 years old, was at 15 lbs. and increasing. Our doctor recommended a better quality food. One that has less fillers and more grain. I switched him from a Purina product to Blue Wilderness Grain Free Indoor Adult Cat Food. That was over 2 years ago. He lost weight. He ate less as if he was satisfied and full. His hair became softer. Though not totally eliminated, his hairball has lessened. He maintained his good health and soft hair. I switched my kitten to this Blue Wilderness when he was 8 months old. He and his older brother kept eating each others' food. I was told it was fine to give him adult food as long as it was of good quality. My kitten is now a 2 year old (immature) adult. Every time he sees his dish, he has to eat. He eats fast as if he is starving. With all that he eats, his weight is appropriate for his large size. Overall, this is a really good product. Their weights have remained steady. The ingredients are all natural. It is a bit pricier than other cat food brands but worth the cost for a healthy, happy cat.

I have two cats and I decided to switch their foods to a more premium brand. I want nothing but the best for my cats and hope to keep them around for years to come. I have seen several commercials for this particular cat food and was curious as to whether or not it would live up to its claims. It has been over one year and two happy cats later I must admit this product is everything it has claimed to be and more. My cats fur coats are think and shiny, they look healthy and are at a good weight. My cats seem more energized than what they ever have been before. My cats hardly ever vomit since being on this food. Before switching to this cat food, my cats seem to have digestive problems with their previous cat food. The ingredients are high quality in this cat food and is grain free which I believe is helpful when it comes to food sensitivity. I would recommend this product to anyone who owns a cat. I am very happy I decided to switch my brand of cat food. I am very pleased with this product overall.

Blue Buffalo Blue Wilderness dry cat food is holistic and grain free. It is also a high protein food with no corn, wheat or soy. The first ingredient listed is deboned chicken, followed by chicken and turkey meal. It promotes general good health and is fortified with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It also does not contain any artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. It is a food that is very good for your cats, manufactured in the U.S.A. (Connecticut), and mine actually enjoy eating it. Quality of Ingredients The list of ingredients in this cat food is impressive. Beyond the deboned chicken and chicken and turkey meal as the first three ingredients, this food also contains natural sweet potatoes, peas, potatoes, carrots, cranberries and blueberries. Not necessarily the foods you would think a cat would eat, but perhaps the foods that their wild prey would eat. The food is inspired by the diet of a wild lynx; a hunter and relative of the domestic cat. All I can say is that I have five cats who are picky eaters. All of my cats are offered this food as well as another dry food each day. I find that the dish that contains this food is emptied much more frequently than the dish that contains the other dry food. Flavor Selection Blue Wilderness comes in 9 varieties as follows: Kitten-chicken, Adult-red meat, trout, duck, chicken, and salmon, Indoor-chicken, Weight Control Adult-chicken, and Mature-chicken. I have used Blue Buffalo products for years for my cats. Recently, I purchased their Wilderness product. I have some of my kitties that are allergic to grains so keeping them all on a grain free diet can be chore especially with finicky eaters. As soon as I started to pour the food into their bowls, they all dove in so I knew I had a winner in the taste. The food, I thought, was doing great until about two months after using. A couple of my kitties started having diarrhea. I thought possibly they may have eaten something outside that they were not supposed to do. However, this was not the case. Like dominoes, the other cats started doing the same. It was getting to the point where it was almost liquid and had such a foul smell. One of my kitties started vomiting non stop. I attempted to do research to see if other pet owners were having the same issue. A few had posted on Blue's facebook site of similar symptoms. I have since stopped feeding them Blue Wilderness. They have been off of the food for about 3 weeks. They all have stopped the diarrhea and vomiting. I have switched back to the The Taste of the Wild with no problems. I am uncertain as to what has changed with Blue because in the past, I have never experienced any issues. I still think they provide high quality food but for whatever reason, this did not work.

This food is higher in protein and lower in carbs that any food you can buy short of prescription food. My diabetic cat and his non-diabetic brother love this food and it has kept them both healthy for years. It has high quality ingredients and a taste that my cats go crazy for. It costs a little more, but it is well worth it. Without this brand and variety, I would have to buy Rx food and that would break the bank. Thank you, Blue Buffalo!

My husband and I have been trying to get our cats as close to a raw diet as possible, while neither breaking the bank nor jumping through hoops in terms of preparation. After finally transitioning our cats to a "fresh" diet, we worried that their dental health would suffer as a result. Since they were already on grain-free food, we continued to supplement their diet with occasional servings of Blue Buffalo Wilderness. They gobble the stuff up, we feel satisfied that we're giving them the best nutrition without unnecessary fillers, and it's helping to keep their teeth healthier, as well. Blue Buffalo is understandably more expensive than many other brands, but you're paying for the quality.

I only wish I had read the online reviews first before switching my cats to Blue. I have two Siamese one has no issues and the other throws up almost daily soon after eating and its all food. All the negative reviews state the same reactions. Will be switching back to Iams

A friend of my gave me a bag of this cat food as her cat had unfortunately passed away from old age . She thought my cat my like it and she did not want to throw perfectly good cat food out. I am glad she didn't. My cat has been very finicky and fussy when it comes to dry food lately and only seems to want canned food. He always use to eat dry food and still will but picks and picks at it. When I opened the bag, I could tell he was sniffing around for food. I put it in his bowl and he ate it right away. It has quality ingredients and it did not upset his sensitive stomach. He has not thrown up at all after eating it like he does with some other cat foods. He seems bouncier and more active. He looks like his fur is shinier also. He seems to really enjoy eating this cat food. It is more expensive than the regular cat food so I wont be able to buy it for him all the time, but I will pick up a bag of it every now and then instead of other dry food when I can. It is probably too hard for a very young kitten to chew but older kittens should be able to chew it. I recommend it if you have a finicky eating cat with a sensitive stomach.
