Love, love, love this dishwasher
I have large family and we use our dishwasher A LOT! My dishwasher was the one appliance that I was fine with having a basic dishwasher. I just needed it to wash dishes. This is our fourth dishwasher in 15 years. We just wore the others out. So, when it came time to replace our last one, I bought the top of the line Bosch. When the sales person told me about the red light that dibs on the floor so you know its running (because it's so quiet) I thought yeah, right, like you can't hear it. Well, surprise, standing right next to it, in a quiet kitchen, you cannot hear it! The only time I ever hear it is when it drains because I can hear the water going down the pipes in my kitchen. As far as space, this thing holds so many dishes. Typically, dishwashers seem to have crummy layouts and lots of wasted space. Not so with this Bosch. It holds a full day's dishes and then some. I thought the third shelf was gimicky and that I wouldn't really find much to put there. Wrong! I put so much up there:cooking spoons, knives, Tervis/drink bottle lids... I rinse my dishes so I use the speed wash cycle most often. It takes 60 minutes. I have only had something come out dirty twice and thise times it was because of how I put something in. I have used the longer cycles after messier meals. The one issue people usually have about Bosch dishwashers is that they don't have a drying element. I don't think the dishes are any wetter coming out of the Bosch than any other dishwasher I've had. In all, I'd buy this dishwasher again in a heartbeat. It is well worth the price and I can't say enough good things about it.
