We have had this unit for over two years and has performed flawlessly. The top rack is adjustable to accommodate tall items. There is no center tower to take up space. There is a small basket to collect debris that has not dissolved. There is no grinder like on most American dishwashers. Noise Level Easy to have a conversation in a normal tone standing next to it. It is the quietest dishwasher we have ever owned. Plenty of times, someone has opened the unit to add an utensil without realizing the machine was in the middle of a cycle. Cleaning Time I think all dishwashers take forever and a day to do the dishes. 120 minutes is outrageous in terms of time, but washing them by hand would waste more water even if it took a fraction of the time to do a full load by hand. Loading Flexibility This section has its pros and cons. The pros is that there is more space since there is no central tower like on other dishwashers. The top rack has folding sections to accommodate larger items. The spacing between the dishes is smaller than on American dishwashers. The manual shows detailed diagrams on how to properly load the dishwasher to maximum capacity. We have never actually replicated it, Performance Excellent results. Glassware comes out spotless.
