It does make the bread and is easy to use but I have found a lot of problems with this machine. First the spinner thing at the bottom of the pan falls off nearly every time I use it and the bread always comes out oddly shaped. Also I find the bread is lumpy which I believe is from the mixing thing falling off all the time. This was a gift so I'm not sure the price but I wouldn't spend anything on this machine it's not worth the hassle
