I suffer from horrid late season allergies and decide to add this product to my arsenal of anti allergy solutions. Fantastic product that let me sleep, finally! Best tip I can say is clean your nose with alcohol before applying the strip. Works great and ill be having my snoring boyfriend try them tomorw night! Happy customer :)

The Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strips really work in opening up my nasal passages/sinuses so that I can breathe. I have horrible allergies and I am constantly having a stuffy or runny nose, regardless of the allergy medications I take. I get sinus headaches frequently, and a combination of neti pot, these nasal strips, and a couple of Advil help me get rid of them. When I put the strip on, i can immediately tell the difference. My only real complaint is that sometimes I have a hard time getting them to stick to my nose. I usually have to use astringent on my nose first, and then hold the strip in place for about 15 seconds before it will adhere to my nose for the night. In regards to snoring, I think they help to alleviate my snoring but it does not eliminate my snoring.

It worked really well and I was able to sleep great but somehow I took it off this morning and found a good sized bruise on the bridge of my nose. I read the directions and applied it correctly, so I don't know how this happened.

I am amazed at how well these Breathe Right Strips work.  I consistently suffer from congestion due to seasonal allergies, but I just recently tried Breathe Right Strips for the first time.  I was shocked at how well I was able to breathe overnight.  On the nights I have used them I have not been awakened due to congestion even once.  It hurts a little bit to remove them.  I recommend removing them in the shower as the package directs.  My nose did hurt after wearing them for a few consecutive nights.  It felt slightly bruised, but this is a reasonable trade off for being able to breathe while sleeping.  I was concerned that the adhesive from the strips would irritate my sensitive skin, but this was not a problem at all, even after wearing them for several consecutive nights.   I think that they are expensive, but it is a price I am willing to pay in order to get some sleep while congested.  Side Effects The only side effect I had a problem with was that after a few nights of use the bridge of my nose felt bruised.

I bought a ten pack box of **Breathe Right Nasal Strips Advanced **a few weeks ago figuring that I would try it for my husband's snoring. Instead we ended up trying it for a cold we both had last week. I was so disappointed. Basically, the strips would not adhere properly. For 2 seconds the strip seemed to work but then peeled off! It was impossible to fix. I could not believe it. We also tried it on my husband's nose, the same thing. I don't know if the whole box was defective but I was already annoyed with 2 strips that didn't adhere properly. I really wanted to try the effective-ness of the product for our congested noses. Without the strip adhereing there was no way to tell if this product will work! I guess I would suggest getting a sample before you spend your money on a whole box. Update: since we bought the entire box, we tried it again. The 3rd one out of the box worked properly. I was happy that it helped me breathe well enough to sleep peacefully. I would try it again and would try out the other variety that is not made of plastic.

As someone who suffers from chronic nighttime sinus congestion and coughing from postnasal drip, I wanted to try Breathe Right Advanced because they claim to "provide relief from nasal congestion due to colds and allergies." I ordered a free sample of nasal strips directly from the Breathe Right website (*breatheright.com*), and received them in a few weeks. Unlike the original strips which come in small/medium and large, **Breathe Right Advanced** are a "one-size-fits-most adults" product. I have an average-sized female nose and I followed the instructions perfectly, so the problem has to be a fault in the design, the material, or the adhesive. At any rate, I had better luck with Breathe Right Extra and--*for now*--would recommend it over this so-called Advanced version. Effectiveness The Advanced strips are supposed to provide more relief because they have 4 target points instead of 2 and are made of a firmer plastic. They're also supposed to open the nasal passages more fully than the *Original* or *Extra* versions. Unfortunately for me, I'll never know if they work better or not because I honestly could not keep the Advanced strip on my nose. Ease of Use The edges of the Breathe Right loosened up almost immediately, and no matter how much I smoothed and pressed down on the strip, the edges just wouldn't hold. Finally, I just gave up before I even got in the bed. Immediacy In the event you're able to get the Breathe Right strip to stay in place, the effects are immediate. You can go right to bed and not have to worry about waiting for relief to kick in. Side Effects Because this is a non-medicated product, there are absolutely no potentially harmful side effects to worry about. On the other hand, if I use a decongestant before bed, I have to worry about restlessness or insomnia when trying to fall asleep.

I suffer from congestion at various times of the year. There is very little that will relieve it, short of some type of prescription medication and even then, sometimes it falls short. There is little worse than a stuffy nose because then I have to breathe through my mouth and that dries out my sinuses even more. I received these Breathe Right Advanced nasal strips as a sample in the mail. They do seem to work most of the time. When I have the congestion and usually lose sleep because of it, these nasal strips help to alleviate the congestion and I get more restful sleep. Place the strip on the outside of the nose. There is no medicine involved with these strips but somehow, they help me breathe better. I think you can go to the Breathe Right website and get a sample of these nasal strips to try. It would be worth it to be able to try them as a sample to see if they would work for you prior to purchasing. For me, I highly recommend thise nasal strips.

It took me a few tries to get the strips in the right place to open up my airway passages, but once I did the Breathe Right Advanced clear strips works pretty good.  It's no miracle worker for my sinus problems, but I do notice that I don't wake up as much during the night, flip flopping from one side to the other, when I wear these strips!  I have a hard time sleeping a few hours, much less the entire night, without help from some sort of nasal spray, etc. but the side effects from nasal sprays make me hesitant to use it nightly, and the bottles say you can't use them more than 3 days in a row!  The breathe right strips don't put any chemicals into your body!  My only concerns are the stickiness of the strips.  They stick to your nose pretty hard and can be painful to pull off the next morning.  They can also leave a nedness on your skin when you peel them off.  This seems to go away, but doesn't look good for an hour or so.  But they do help open up the airways!

This is something that I normally never would hae bought, but when I recieved a sample of them in the mail. I decided to give them a shot one night while I was sick to hopefully help me breath a little easier. They worked wonders. I slept so soundly that night and felt significantly less stuffed up in the morning. I have since purchased a couple boxes of these and use them on nights when I'm feeling stuffed up and I sleep wonderfully. I have even given them to my boyfriend for snorring and they helped him with that too. He said that they helped him sleep better as well. The only thing that I have found it that they begin to peel off around the edges after a little while and on occassion come off at night. I recommend these to anyone who has occasional nighttime stuffyness due to illness or allergies and for the help of alleviating snoring. oh and hint if ou are using them to help you breath better while sick you'll notice the difference right away so keep lots of tissue nearby.

Breathe Right Nasal Strips is one of those products that either works for you, or it doesn't.  My feeling is "why not give it a try?", since it's not a medicine and can be used safely with little effort.  And if it works, great! I've used these before, and most of the time they do work for me.  I like the fact that they are safe with no side effects (unless it's the adhesive residue), since I'm not big on taking medicine unless necessary. Testing them out first on your skin elsewhere would be a good idea, to make sure the adhesive doesn't cause you problems. The idea behind the strips is to pull the nasal passages open somewhat to allow better breathing, so it works for those with allergies, colds, and those with snoring problems.  And the best way to find out if it works for you is to buy a box (or get a couple of strips off of someone you know that uses them) to test out.  This product is quick and easy to use, and worth a try.
