I love my Breville handheld blender. It doesn't take up much space but it does so much. I use sometimes as a food processor. I make guacamole with this by using this to "blend" the avocado and i just stir in some onions, shallots and lime juice and I'm done. I also think this is really good for making soups. One of my favorites to make is definitely squash soup and this blender does a good job to make the squash soup's consistency perfect.
