We are huge fans of the Britax brand! We owned a Britax Chaperone when my son was an infant, and have this one now that he is a toddler. The seat is extremely attractive and comfortable. It is plush and soft. My son always curls up and goes to sleep in it. He seems to really enjoy spending time in it. This is by far the safest and most highly rated car seat out there. When I was pregnant, I spent countless hours researching the safest car seats. For convertible car seats, this is the best one you can get! It has a rear facing weight limit of 40 lbs and can front face until 70. Though the price tag is a little higher than some, the investment is worth it. This car seat will keep your child safe! Ease of Installation My husband has no problems installing the car seat quickly! Child's Comfort My son loves his Advocate! He is so comfy in it. Support and Safety I feel great knowing that the Britax Advocate is the safest car seat out there! Ease of Use The wonderful click it feature on the straps make this car seat super easy to use. Durability It has held up really well to toddler abuse!

One thing that I am a super stickler on is car seats. My aunt works for the national car seat foundation (or something along that nature, I just don't know the technical wording) and she highly recommends this brand! So following her advice we purchased a Britax, and may I say it was definitely one of the smartest decisions we have made so far when it comes to purchasing baby products! Ease of Installation The installation of this car seat is pretty easy but adjusting it is rather freaking difficult. It's not like the standard car seat so make sure you keep the manual handy! Child's Comfort My year old son and my almost two year old daughter can both use this seat comfortably. It has extra cushion and looks more comfortable than most of the other car seats out there. Support and Safety It encases the child so it is protected in case of a collision on three sides. Ease of Use Like I said above, the installation is easy but adjustments are a pain. Design It follows pretty well and everything with the design was done with the intent of keeping the child safe. Love it! Durability This thing is a rock.

I love Britax and refuse to buy anything else for my kids car seats. My older two have Britax Boulevards but we decided to get the Britax Advocate for my youngest when he outgrew his infant seat. It was a great choice! It definitely on the spendy side but for us its worth it (can you put a price on your kids safety?) The best thing about them is that they are so easy to install, especially using the latch system, the easier the installation the more likely you are doing it right and the safer it is. I like that they have the side impact protection (it takes up a bigger footprint in your car though so if you are looking for a narrow seat this is not it). Its also very plush and comfortable for the kids. Its very easy to adjust the harness height and the seat does not have to be taken out of the car or disassembled to do that which is great! Another great feature is that the crotch clip is spring loaded and stays in the forward position when not buckled so you won't have to go digging under your child's but to find it after they are sitting in the seat. Britax has wonderful customer service and all their products are made in the USA which is another bonus for me. I'd recommend this seat for sure!

I feel like my child is SAFE in this car seat. Yes, it costs an arm and a leg, however, that's the price you pay for safety in our household. Ease of Installation Very easy to install, however, very hefty if you are moving in between cars. Child's Comfort My child is comfortable in this car seat. Support and Safety I feel like the side airbags is the main feature that other car seats are lacking. Ease of Use Very easy to use. Especially with me being pregnant at the moment, I have had to issues putting my child in the seat. Design I love the design of it, however, it is really bulky. Obviously it is for safety reasons, which I can't really complain. Maybe the next generation will have a sleeker look to it. Durability Very durable--have lugged it around airports, etc and it has maintained it's shape.

I like to call this seat my son's cadallic of car seats. This is for sure, the biggest seat of all my mommy friends! I LOVE all the amazing safety features and it gives me peace of mind that my son would be safe in the unfortunate event of an accident. The seat is somewhat difficult to get installed when using the seatbelt method, but super easy when using LATCH. The optional tether when rear facing is a great feature, but needs to be taken on and off when putting the baby in and out. The "air bags" on the sides are pretty excellent and make me feel like my little man will be safe! The cover is super plush and extremely soft. There are little clips that hold the cover to the shell and ours broke off immediately after moving them once- but the cover stays on perfectly fine without them anyway. The recline is pretty far while rearfacing making it hard to fit into some vechiles, but if it's for safety it's worth it!

This seat is montrous! BUT I know my princess is safe, It was interesting to install, and she hates it, but she always hates the car so I don't think its just the seat. We have it rear facing, and a mazda protege 5, and I have to tuck her head and be careful when putting her in as to not bonk her head though, which may be my car, but its worth it. She safe, and I know that.

We love our Advocate! My son is 21/2 years old. He is much more comfortable and has LOTS more legroom in this seat than he did in his evenlfo triumph. He is still rear facing and can do a lot more growing before we need to turn him around. It is very easy to get him in and out of the seat and adjust the harness. The seat cushion itself is very soft and looks to be very comfortable. The only con I can think of is that my son can grab the strap to tighten the harness and has pulled on it while I was driving so I had to pullover to loosen it- though if I just remember to tuck it at the bottom of the carseat against the vehicle seat he can't get it so it's not a big problem. This seat is very easy to install with either the belt or LATCH. When we took it to be inspected for proper installation the car seat techs were very impressed- the "70" model had only been out for a few months and they hadn't seen one yet. This seat is a little more expensive for others, but will keep a child rearfacing for a very long time and also has a longer warranty than many other seats. I think once you factor in the years of use you'll get out of it it's about the same cost as other seats- not that you can put a price on your child's safety!

My family loves our new Britax Advocate 70CS car seat. I love that my son can now safely face forward in his car seat.  My son really loves being able to see us while being turned around.  This company has the highest safety standards on the market and it truly gives us peace of mind.  I love the fact that they provide a completely thorough and easy to understand instruction manual.  Britax also has demonstration videos on their website that will teach you how to implement the car seat in your car in many different ways.  I love the pattern that we chose, Opus Grey.  I think it will hold up really well for my son over the years.  I also love that you can adjust the shoulder height for the child without complicating matters and having to take the whole car seat apart.  You simply click the handle near the top of the headrest and pull up.  I love that Britax includes a belly pad and shoulder strap pads for added comfort for the child.  Plus, this seat has more crash-protection than any other seat on the market.  It's so easy to install and you can buy replacement seat covers for an alternate look!

I wanted only the BEST for my daughter's car seat.  So I turned to Britax.  The Advocate is their top of the line model, and you can see the differences.  It has deluxe cushioning for baby's comfort.  My daughter loves to sleep in her seat. It is more cocoon shaped than some of the other seats. It just looks like it would be more protective. It has side impact panels. I didn't see anything like those panels on any other car seat. Super easy to install.  Using the seatbelt or the LATCH. The Advocate 70 CS is rated for 40 lbs. rear facing.  This is the latest feature for this newer generation of Britax seats. The CS feature seems a little hokey, but I now understand how tight the straps need to be to be secure. Nice quality fabrics used. The only downfall I see to this seat is that because of the side impact technology panels, the sides of the seat are a little high.  So when baby is rear facing, the view is partially obstructed.  But my daughter does not seem to mind this at all. We also have a Grace MyRide 65 for grandma's car.  While there are things I like about it too, the bottom line is the Advocate 70 CS is so much easier to install, and it looks and feels more cushioned and protective.
