I love my Brother HE-240. It is a sewing machine and an embroidery machine. It has built in fonts and designs. The best thing is it also has a USB port. So all I have to do is plug it in the my computer and bam I've got what I need. It sews wonderful. I love both sewing and embroidery part. It has 67 different stitches.It comes with multiple feet to to match the many different stitches.These do include button holes and decorative stitches. The embroidery part is very simple to use. This is my 1st embroidery machine. So I was a little intimated. I can't tell you how easy it is. You'll be embroidering by the end of the day, if not sooner. I found the instructions, clear and easy to use. It also comes with a disk. So you can play it on your computer while you try it on the machine. The only negative I've found is it dosen't come with embroidery software. Meaning all those letters you download on the internet need a computer program to spell names. You can do one letter at a time. But that is time consuming and normally dosen't look neat. So expect to get some type of software for names and monogramming if you want fonts other than what is on your machine. Your machine will spell out words and monograms with only the fonts it has installed. All in all I still highly recommend this machine.
