I totally love this lip shimmer. I was given this as a gift one year and have been hooked ever since. I have an average job where heels and lipstick is overkill but where modest beauty is appreciated. This is a great chapstick because while it is not considered make-up, it gives you a healthy and sexy shimmer. It is nice and moisturizing. It feels almost a little cool when you put it on as though there is a light menthol in there. I also love the super slim little tube that it comes in. It doesn't bulge in your pocket and fits neatly into a little clutch or wallet for when you don't carry your whole purse. It smell pleasant and is not overly fruity or little girl like. They make a variety of shimmer colors but the champagne is my favorite and the most natural looking. It is a bit pricey, i will admit. However, for being is such a small tube it lasts a really long time. I have only reached the end of a tube once. I tend to lose them before I use them all up. I never had any adverse reactions to it. It is a great start for teens and girls looking to begin wearing tints and shimmers without going full force into make-up. The shimmer is very small and natural and is definitely not glitter. That makes it age appropriate for anyone. I highly recommend this for a sexy but natural look with the added benefit of a great lip moisturizer. I use mine all day.

I love Burt's Bees Burts Bees Lip Shimmer Champagne. I enjoy all the Burt's Bees products but this lip shimmer is my favorite. It goes on so soft and smooth and lasts all day. It has a hint of color and smells great. This product is a little pricey but it's worth it for the natural ingredients. I feel better knowing that I am not ingesting harsh chemicals into or onto my body or skin. My teenaged daughters love this product as well since the color is subtle enough to look natural while still making their lips pop. If anyone enjoys the Burt's Bees lip balms they should try this lip shimmer in champagne. It has all the advantages of the regular lip balms while providing an attractive shimmer and color to your makeup palate. It doesn't clash with any of your other makeup colors yet still provides a natural lip shade to your face. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other colors in the product.

This balm has an emollient that is so rich. It is moisturizing without being greasy and just sitting on top of your lips. It soaks in to heal and sooth dry, chapped lips. It has menthol in addition to the creamy emollients which adds a cooling effect also. This adds so much to the healing effects of the Burt's Bees lip balm. The crowning glory of this healing balm is that it has the most beautiful champagne tint in it. The champagne color has a gorgeous shimmer to it that is subtle. The color is complementary to all skin tones and ages. Young girls will enjoy this color, as well as more mature women. The great thing about this lip balm is that it can be layered also with the other shades this comes in to make your own custom color. It lasts a long time on your lips without coming off easily, so it does not need to be reapplied constantly either. I love this stuff and use it every day instead of lip gloss or lipstick!

When my little boy was born 4 years ago, I said goodbye to complicated makeup routines & said hello to my "five minute face."  Mineral powder foundation, a little mascara, and Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer.  Armed with those three items, I could feel good about myself, even in the midst of the hardest four sleepless months of acid reflux that I didn't sign up for!  :) Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers in general are very nourishing, conditioning, and easy to apply.  I cannot stand dry-feeling lipsticks, so this product definitely fits the bill to be easy to apply but not just a regular chapstick. My favorite color has always been Toffee, but recently the store I buy BB's Lip shimmer from was out of Toffee.  So, i tried Champagne.  Even though I was skeptical that it would make me look washed out, I have been VERY pleased with the effect.  It's very natural, but it gives my lips a shimmer and still looks like I have something on, even though it has very little color. Overall, I am very pleased with this product, and I recommend it!

I absolutey positively completely love this lip shimmer by Burt's Bees.  I am a huge Burt's Bees fan.  I love the chapstick; adore the cooling sensation it gives my lips and how it moisturizes and conditions them.  What could be better than the same chapstick with some shimmer added? I have tried a colored shade of these lip shimmers, but this is my favorite shade because it is so very versatile and works great in a variety of situations.  I often just stick it in my pocket and wear it like a chapstick.  It gives your lips a very nice, nearly natural sheen that is very flattering.  The shimmer is not over the top, but it doesn't disappear, either.  I also often use this to layer over a lipstick.  It goes well over a wide variety of shades and gives them an extra pop.  You can also just put it in the middle of your bottom lip to make your lips look fuller and more pouty.  The only thing I don't like is the price.  I use it too fast to pay that much.

It feels kind of weird to be giving this a low rating because everyone seems to love it so much. I love Burt's Bees producst because they have the best ingredients. I hated their lip balm but I wanted to give this a try since I love tinted lip balms. The packaging is cute but nothing spectacular. I do not find they very moisturizing and I acutually had to apply balm underneath this for it to go on evenly. The color of this is very sheer and the worst part of this product is the shimmer. i thought it was going to be a slight glow or shine but the shimmery particles just sort of sat on my lips. This does get a bit more naturally looking as it sits on your lips but I really don't want to think about that when I'm applying this. I love the minty feeling but I just hate how the shimmer looks.

I recently purchased some Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in the color of Champagne. I am not a big lipstick fan but I do like to have my lips feel moisturized and I don't mind just a hint of color or shimmer. I have read that Burt's Bees uses all natural ingredients which I think is very important - especially considering you are putting this all over your lips, right next to your mouth. Upon my first application of this product, I was very pleased. My lips felt smooth and moisturized and the hint of shimmer and color was perfect. It is a very neutral shade so if you are looking for high color you might no want this in champagne. For me the amount of color and shimmer was just what I was looking for. I now carry this around in my purse as I love it!
