I really enjoyed the bar. While it says that it is shampoo I found it just as good to use it as my body wash (because around that same time I got this I ran out of body wash). It does look like a little funky color that I wouldn't buy if I saw it in stores. I got it for a Christmas gift so I ended up using it because I wanted to give it a try and see what it was all about. Effectiveness I used it only a few times on my hair but just enough to feel the difference on my hair from the other kinds of shampoos I use. It made my hair feel really natural and clean, which is something I always look for in my shampoos. It didn't do anything to my curl, like flatten them or made it frizzy. I loved the way it made my skin feel when I did use it on my skin, it made it feel soft and clean. I love how my skin felt soft and clean for the whole day! It's natural so I felt like it didn't leave anything behind on my skin. Scent It smelled perfect and I loved it! The scent wasn't too strong or yucky smelling. It was just in the middle and I could smell it throughout the day. The mint scent was something new to me and it was something that I did like and I didn't find any problem in the scent!

(This is for the body wash of the same scent, the product doesn't' specify if it's for the shampoo or wash) I was skeptical about trying this at first. It seems like rosemary would be such an odd scent for a body wash and even stranger when paired with mint. I was pleasantly surprised though! It has a very refreshing scent to it and the mint (from peppermint oil) adds a wonderful zing to my morning shower. I even got my husband addicted to it! It seems expensive up front, but the bottle lasted me an entire year because a little goes a long way. That's definitely cost affective for me! I have been using Burt's Bees products for years and this is definitely one that will stay on our shelves. I just hope they don't discontinue it! Effectiveness It has nice sudsing and provides a great "clean" feeling. My husband likes using it after working outside all day in the hot sun and getting dirty. Scent A great balance of rosemary and peppermint which is perfect to wake you up in the morning.

Using Burt's Bees Rosemarry Mint Shampoo Bar has imprpved my self esteem by making my hair beautiful.  I have tried many different brands of shampoos.  Even expensive brands you buy from the stylist.  I have very fine hair.  Most products weigh it down making it dull, flat, and lifeless.  I have had dry damaged hair in the past.  I was checking out products and came across Burt's Bees products.  What a change.  My hair is full.  It has body to it.  The roots are lifted up instead of being weighed down to my head.  My hair has never been this shiny and healthy.  Burt's Bees offers all natural products.  I've heard people saying natural is best.  I have checked out natural products before, but couldn't believe the price.  The shampoo bar was in my price range.  I use less shampoo with the shampoo bar.  I don't have to worry about spills or using too much.  The bar immediately lathers up. It has a nice scent to it, but is not overwhelming.  I was cautious at first because I have asthma and allergies. This did not bother the one bit.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I love the burt's bees brand in general. I have so much of their stuff. The reason I tried this is because I have been wanting to switch to a more natural shampoo, and my mom got a sample bar in a grab bag. She gave it to me because she knew I wanted to try more natural shampoo, specifically sulfate-free. All of Burt's Bees products are sulfate free. I like this shampoo, but I definetly don't love it.  Pros:Sulfate-free-This is what initially attracted me, as well as it is burts beesEnvironmentally friendlynaturalimprovement at first -I noticed at first that my hair seemed improved. It was thicker, wasn't getting greasy, and just looked better. I first used Burt's Bees Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar on a camping trip. I was extremely skeptical about using a shampoo bar as i have waist length hair, and it can be quite difficult to find a shampoo that leaves my hair both clean and manageable. Burt's Bee Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar did both, all while being environmentally conscious. The fact that this product is all natural is a definite bonus when camping, especially if you do not want to negatively impact your environment. The Burt's Bees Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar makes this easy to achieve, all while being extremely easy to pack, healthy for your hair and scalp, and leaving your hair light and manageable. This is a product that i now take on any and all road trips or camping trips. It is invaluable because of its versatility. Not only does it work great on short hair, but does amazingly on hair of rather extreme lengths. Convenience, Great Price, Versatility.... what more could a girl ask for!

  Sometime last year my husband bought me a kit that included several Burt's Bees products.  Not being a huge fan of Burt's Bees stuff, I stuck most of the kit into a drawer and forgot about it.  Well a few days ago when I was cleaning out that drawer I found the kit and noticed that one of the products was a shampoo bar.  "How could I have not noticed that before???", I asked myself.  I'm a huge fan of shampoo bars.  I love the convenience, their longevity and economy.  I love the lack of packaging. So the next morning I brought that bar of Burt's Bees Rosemary Mint shampoo into the shower with me and washed my hair.  I am a HUGE fan of Aveda's rosemary mint shampoo so I was hoping that the Burt's product would be similar.  Unfortunately it was absolutely horrible and I threw it away after only one use. For starters the shampoo is really gross looking.  It's pure brown.  Yep, ugly dark brown like it's made from coffee or something.  But in the name of cleanliness I used it anyway as it smelled pretty good. I rinsed my hair and then swiped the bar around my head in a circular motion like I do with my LUSH shampoo bars.  Only with LUSH shampoo bars all it takes is 3 to 4 swipes and I've got tons of lather.  This Burt's shampoo wouldnot lather at all.  Now I know lather or lack thereof is not always a sign that a shampoo is working, however I was not really able to work up any sort of cleansing feeling with this shampoo.  I swiped it again and again.  Probably 20 times before I felt like my hair was coated and it was being cleansed.  When this shampoo was on my head it didn't smell like anything at all which was disappointing.  When I rinsed it out it left my hair feeling very tangled and out of control so I used an every day conditioner, let it sit, then rinsed it out. When I dried my hair it felt dirtier than before I had washed it and all day long it just felt gross.  As if that were not bad enough my hair was so dull looking and lacked any kind of shine or manageability.  It was just awful!  I threw the bar in the garbage and never looked back.  Highly NOT recommended.  Ugh.

THIS SHAMPOO IS SO AMAZING! iT MADE MY SCALP TINGLE AND LEFT MY HAIR FEELING CLEANER THAN IT HAS IN A LONG TIME. WE TOOK IT ON  HIKING AND CAMPING TRIP AND IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN A LIQUID SHAMPOO. iT HAS PEPERMINT IN IT WHICH NOT ONLY GIVES YOU THE TINGLE BUT THE SMELL WILL REALLY WAKE YOU UP TOO.
