Perfect toner for me!

5

It rates really well with ewg.org - the site I rely on to find bath and body products for me that are non-toxic. It is also reasonably priced and it can be found everywhere. Effectiveness It thoroughly cleans my t-zone and I feel refreshed after using it every morning. Scent It has a very light scent that is not over-powering. Ease of Application Glides over my face with ease.

A good natural toner that I don't need but you may love.

***Quick View***: This is a gentle toner that I don't need but may be right for you. It's a good one for sensitive skin.  ***My Experience With This Toner****** ***This toner is for more mature skin and I can tell because it isn't drying at all. It is somewhat oily in texture. The toner is clear and smells faintly of roses. I am not in love with the rose scent, but it fades quickly and isn't offensive. I use this toner on a cotton ball after cleansing my face. I don't see much dirt or residue on the ball but I do feel a veil of softness on my face. I am not sure if I like that feeling or not but I do have dry skin in the winter and moisture is always a good thing. If I use too much, though, my face feels sticky. I follow up with my usual moisturizer and my skin feels fine. I tried just using the toner and skipping the moisturizer but I need more hydration that any toner can give me. This didn't sting or burn and it caused no breakouts. I just don't *need* it. My cleanser does a great job and my other products all work in sync. However, if I were to use a toner, I may try this one since it doesn't strip my skin (I used to use SeaBreeze!) and doesn't contain harsh chemicals. I think this may be a refreshing toner in the summer after cleansing when I don't need a heavy day cream and I will try it again on hot days. ***My Viewpoint*** **Burt's Bees Rosewater & Glycerin Toner for Sensitive & Mature Skin** is a decent, gentle toner best used by people with dry skin. Because it is somewhat oily, it could clog pores and cause breakouts on those with combination or oily skin types. ***I give this 3 stars.*** It's a decent toner but it really doesn't fit into my current skin care regime. You may love it!

I LOVE Burt's Bees rosewater

4

I have been using Burt's Bees rosewater & glycerin toner for at least three years now. It is a part of my daily regimen. Right after I wash my face in the morning and evenings, I spritz a bit of this all over my face and neck. It is recommended that you use a cotton ball, but I find that that wastes too much of the product. The container is glass, which I like, but it IS a bit hard to just pour a little into the palm of my hand; so I empty the contents into another container with a better cap. That way I can dispense just the right amount into my hand. This is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I have mature, rather sensitive skin, and this rosewater feels and smells wonderful on my skin. The rosewater has a faint smell, so not overpowering. The smell goes away rather quickly though. By the time I am ready to put on a moisturizer, the faint rosewater smell has dissipated. I also like the purity of Burt's Bees products. I highly recomend!

Love. It.

I am a huge fan of Burt's Bees products and this is by far in my top 3 favorites. I LOVE this toner. I use it for a variety of reasons. The way I most often use it is to wipe off my neck and decolletage before bed. I always wash my face, but find it obnoxious to get soap all over and so use this to swipe the day off. It always makes my skin feel clean and fresh. It doesn't make my skin burn or prickle like some acid-based toners have in the past, but still does a great job of getting any grime off, even if it isn't visible to the eye. The other way I use it is to freshen up during the day if it is not yet time to go to bed. I use it on my lunch break or if I run home and then go out to dinner. It instantly makes me feel fresher and clean without having had to wash my entire face. I also love the smell. Having lived in France for a bit, it reminds me of simple rosewater perfume and is incredibly soothing. I can't recommend this enough; I haven't got a bad thing to say about it!

Perfect for my very dry and sensitive skin!

I have tried many toners before using this and a few since because of difficulty finding it.  I have never found one that compares.  Is not harsh at all on my sensitive skin.  Usually my skin turns red and patchy after using toners, etc.  Try it if you have sensitive skin!!!
