this is the only product that works for me quickly. i have tried alot of cold medicines and none of them worked or took forever to see results. with this i seen results within 24 hours

The store brand medication works extremely well for night time symptoms of the cold and flu. I was surprised with how well this medication works for flu symptoms with how little the medication costs! The medication made me feel sleepy, and I think this is why I have to take it at night. The medication tastes horrible. The consistency is a thick syrup that barely goes down the throat. The one major reason that I take this medication is to relieve symptoms of constant coughing. I had a lot of allergies and cold like symptoms when I moved to the southern part of the country and this medicine was a life saver! The medication relieves congestion and pain minimally, and this is why I reduced the overall score. However, if a cough is plaguing you, then I definitely recommend this product to help through the night. Cough Suppression This medication has saved me many nights of constant coughing!

When you have a bad cold and really want to sleep it off, this is a very good product for you. I usually try the store brands first because they are cheaper than the branded ones, and if the store brand works, I stick to it. This one was very effective in helping me sleep even when I had a very bad cold with a lot of coughing involved. I woke up in the morning feeling much fresher than the night before. The sleeping aid is quite strong so I would recommend it for people that have the time to sleep the cold off. I especially recommend it for colds with a lot of coughing involved. Overall the CVs night time medication is superior to other night time medication I have tried for cold and flu. The taste is satisfactory and doesn't have the after taste that many cold medications I have tried in the past. I took this medicine when I had a bad cold. The price was much cheaper than the name brand product that is supposed to do the same thing so I decided to give it a try. I usually don't notice a difference when using generics - I think they are all regulated anyway, so the only difference would be flavor combinations. I didn't notice any difference in the way it worked from the name brand product. I don't think it tasted as good, but since I was stuffed up, the taste didn't really effect me anyway. I wouldn't hesitate to use this product again if the need arises. It did it's job and slept better, which is what I really needed anyway.
