Having dry skin sucks. It messes with everything you do on a daily basis. This lotion however, make it soo much better. It relieves the itchiness and makes my skin feel smooth.

I have very sensitive skin and almost every moisturizer I've tried either gives me pimples or some kind of allergic reaction. This does not. It hydrates my skin, has no perfumes or dyes, and goes on smoothly. The one quibble I have with it is that after about an hour on my face, it feels sticky. However, having found something that moisturizes well, is relatively inexpensive compared to many moisturizers, and doesn't cause a problem, I can't complain.

My daughter is the most sensitive child I have ever seen!  Our pediatrician recommended Cetaphil and was explicit that I get the TUBE, not tub, not pump but TUBE of the hydrating lotion.  OK, off to the store we went.  I found it on the first try and had a bit of sticker shock however let me tell you, I would pay five times as much as it costs or more if I needed to.  This is the only lotion my daughter does not react to!  It truly is fragrance free!  It truly is nongreasy.  I had visions of my daughter looking like crisco!  NOPE, not at all.  As a mom you understand the implications of that, the added laundry, scrubbing your own hands after etc etc.  Apply this after a bath or shower and it will protect your skin and keep it moist without an issue at all.  My daughter is the most sensitive and I mean like one bug bite, no matter the bug, and she ends up inpatient at the Children's Hospital for IV antibiotics for a day or two and this was beyond the age of 2, 3, 4, 5!  At six we finally got so we did not have to be admitted for EVERY bug bite.  YES THAT SENSITIVE!  NO NOT KIDDING!  If she so much as starts to get dry skin she scratched like a banchee, AND WON'T STOP TIL THERE IS BLOOD!  This has been a miracle lotion for us and I cannot recommend it highly enough!  We live in the Northeast and we have hard winters yes but we also have icky heat type humid summers and I use it year round.  I always have an extra tube in the house and we never travel without it!

My little girls and I get very dry skin during the winter months. So much that if we wash our hands too much they start to crack and even bleed. It's a challenge to find something that keeps our skin moisturized but is sensitive enough to not burn when applied. My mom had this a couple weeks ago and let me try it out - loved it from the first time I used it! I noticed an immediate difference in the texture of my skin and my girls didn't complain when I put it on them. Love that it is fragrance free too. I keep this little tube in my purse and use it as needed. I even used it on my baby boy (who also has dry skin and likes to scoot around on his belly which makes his skin irritated) and it worked great for him too. Highly recommended.

I've been using this on my face for about two weeks now, and I am very happy with the moisturizing that I am seeing. I am a 43 yr old woman with very dry skin and I feel like lately my face is looking at least 10 years older that I am. For years, I was a serious user of Aveda Hydrating Lotion because it made my skin feel so plump and supple even hours after using it. But for all that, I really felt like it was doing nothing for improving the fine lines and general health of my skin. I tried the Olay product that everyone raves about, but saw no real success there. So, 2 weeks ago, I tried this on my face (I use AmLactin on my body due to another condition). It definitely gives my face that same plump and supple feeling that Aveda did, but it seems to actually be improving the youthfulness of my skin - a bit of a glow, reduction in fine lines. I'm not completely convinced yet as it has been a short time, but it is very promising. I'd probably give it 5 stars but the fragrance is really nothing very pleasant - not bad, just not pretty either.

As a faithful user of the Cetaphil cleanser, I have also grown to be a tried and true user of Cetaphil DailyAdvance Ultra Hydrating Lotion for Dry, Sensitive Skin as well. I began using this product because my skin needed the extra moisture, being that I live in a dry climate and my skin is, by nature, crazy dry! I thought that if the Cetaphil cleanser worked for me, then I should stick with a reliable brand. I love this lotion because it does keep my face from flaking and from making my makeup/foundation looking crusty and gross. My skin looks more supple and smooth when applied, but certainly not greasy! It's almost as if there is no lotion on my face--it just blends in so well, but definitely tends to the troubled areas. I was born with super dry skin and this product helps me win the dry skin battle every day. I know that when I am using it that I am not "crusting out." And that gives me confidence.

Cetaphil has outdone themselves again. Though this product is listed as a body lotion on Viewpoints, I don't think the bottle actually says that it can only be used on the body. I've found it to double as a very effective face lotion when applied right before bedtime (your skin gets warmer when you sleep and the Cetaphil lotion absorbs completely into the face), to the point where my mom would ask me the next day why my skin looked like it was glowing. A little goes a looong way. I've definitely made the mistake of putting a normal-sized amount in my hands only to realize after applying that I'd overdone it. Conversely, this lotion should be great value for your money. I got my bottle free with the bottle of Cetaphil facial cleanser I bought as part of a promotion, so I'm not sure if it's expensive, but even if it does err on the pricey side, its multifunctionality and quality definitely makes it worthwhile.
