Awesome grill for the price

If you have patience to slow cook, and some creativity. This is your grill. Performance I purchased this from a friend that is a traditional Texas wood burning grilled. I like a combination of wood and charcoal. I'm from Memphis and I to adapt to apartment rules. That meant no fire, and only electric grilling and no way to cook with indirect heat. All areas have infrared heat. I used a very small Pyrex dish to hold water on upper rack, and a bean can under the grate in the center with wood chips and a charcoal briquet. Leave an opening or gap for grease to drain or you have a fire. Versatility Used cedar planks to cook salmon. Planks kept griill gapped open. Nothing a saw can't fix or a larger surface couldn't cure. Hint to Char Broil. Ease of Use If you can use an electric skillet you have what it takes. Ease of Cleaning The grate is easier to clean with slow cooking. There is a double layer which is part of the drip area and grease can get between the two and be hard to clean. I used oven cleaner removed as much as I could and rinsed the rest at carwash. I live in an apartment. If you use the bean can grease fire can start up. Don't a SMALL amount of water will extinguish it. Don't over react. Durability Char-Broil was a great parts replacement source. Remember I bought my grill used. The controller was bad. I tried to make it work. Don't do that. The temperature would be low, and when I would turn my back flame on. New controller fixedw that. That's probably why I was able to get it from my friend. Hmmmm!!!!!! Design Cooking surface too small for large scale cooking and wood 2 planks. It needs dual heat control for indirect heat cooking.

This grill is one of my favs. It really gets the job done. The best part is that this grilling machine doesn't require much space. This grill is ideal for people with small patios ,like myself. It is the ultimate outdoor cooking experience with a touch of style...that bright red is sure to brighten up any occasion.

Had to switch from a Charbroil infrared burner to this when I moved into a condo and couldn't have propane. The heating space is surprisingly big, and it heats up quick. Got a nice little cover and it looks great. As awkward as it looks in the pictures, it is actually a much better looking grill when you see it in person. Would definitely recommend. Performance Definitely cooks thoroughly... not as quick as a normal grill though to cook meat Versatility Does my vegetables and meat perfectly... havent had any issues whatsoever Ease of Use One knob to control the temp... simple! Ease of Cleaning Tray at the bottom to get rid of excess grease... no one likes cleaning a grill, but this one is just as tough as any other... Have to remove the grates and heat rods to really get everything Durability Has been surviving the elements pretty decently... I have a nice cover that is on half the time and it hasnt given me any problems Design Good looking grill... I think its perfect for a small deck

We purchased this grill during the summer. It works great. Heats up very fast. Easy to use, just plug in and turn the dial to how hot you want it. Has consistent heat. It's a decent size for a family of four. It wouldn't be good for a huge BBQ. Easy to move, has wheels on back. Would like to have a side "table" on it. But it's a great little grill. Design Could use a side "table" to put a plate or sauces on.

Was so easy to pack and take wherever whenever Performance as long as I spread out the charcoal evenly the grill did its job perfectly. Versatility Throw a pot on it and you can make beans to go with the hot dogs and hamburgers Ease of Use set on ground pour in charcoal spray with lighter fluid and light let the coals white up and then spread them out evenly place the grill over the coals and add whatever suits your fancy Ease of Cleaning spray with degreasers and wipe clean Durability it has been through many a rough camping trips with the pinckard family Design why not cook in style this little thing is female friendly with use and design

It's a decent grill for cooking meat, not more than 3 at a time or it will not cook good at all. Performance Normally these type of grills requires you to not put a lot of meat on the grill. It has very little space on it because of it's size. If you are tying too have a feast and get done cooking by 5:00 this is not the type of grill you use. Versatility It's pretty good nothing to tell your coworker, family members or friends about. Ease of Use It's easy to use all you have to do is put charcoal in the grill, the light the charcoal. Then you let the fire burn the charcoal, and finally you put the meat on the grill and watch the meat get cooked. When it's finally done it will be ready to eat. Ease of Cleaning You would have to grab a sponge or a scratcher and scrub the black stuff off the grill. That's usually from the Charcoal being burned. It will take you some time, but when your done scrubbing use the water hose to spray it clean. Durability It lasts a long time, just make sure you put it into a garage when the grill is not being used. If you leave the grill out it will get rusty, especially when it's raining or your dog might chew part of it off. Design Just a regular grill that is built/looks like any other grill you would see at Home Depot.

I received this grill as a gift when I moved into a new apartment. The apartment complex didn't allow gas or charcoal grills. At first i was leary of the quality of food an electric grill would produce but after making my first grilled chicken breast i was blown away by the juiciness and flavor this grill was capable of. It takes only minutes to get to proper cooking temperature and doesn't loose heat very quickly when the top is open. I purchased some hickory wood chunks to place on the grating while cooking to add flavor to the meat. This works really well. The grill heats the chunks up enough to get them smoking. After just a short time you can really taste the hickory flavor. The infrared technology used for this grill sears the outside of the meat while leaving the inside juicy. The only complaint i have is there is no counter top space or places to store utensils. This is a very minor issue that does not detract from the quality of this grill.

This grill is a basic grill and is not to be purchased by hard-core grillers. The electric feature makes this product satisfactory due to the lack of ability to speed up the cooking process as possible with flame grills. Also, it does not, and could not, due to it's electric power, have a smoker, which is my primary source for flavor on the grill. Hamburgers and hot dogs is about it. I wouldnt dare waste a steak on it. Performance Not a chance for speed cooking Versatility Not a lot of cooking options Ease of Use Very basic. My 5 year old figured it out on her own. Ease of Cleaning Steel grill makes for easy cleaning. Durability Not too tough not too weak Design Basic patio grill for the "block party"

I give this a "satisfactory" rating because its a good grill, but it isn't very sturdy or durable. After a while, it starts to rust and eventually break off. However, I've made some good meals off of this grill. Performance Works like any other grill. It's just a little smaller. It's really great for beginners or to travel. It's good if you're just grilling for the family. Not for a huge amount of people, for instance, a party or so. Then I wouldn't recommend this grill. Versatility I do like the grill, however, it isn't very versatile at all. That sucks. You really have to make a lot of batches with this grill. For instance, if you were having a "cookout" you would have to make more than one batch with the food and the charcoal, because the charcoal will soon stop giving off the heat, and that can eventually become very, very annoying. Ease of Use It's very easy to use. You just put the charcoal in there and light it and there you go! Ease of Cleaning Cleaning, on the other hand is hard. You have to keep scrubbing and it could get very tiresome. Well for me at least.
