This grill was the perfect size and style for my needs. I was EXTREMELY disappointed with how quickly and frequently the grill grates rusted! I would spend extensive time removing the rust only to have it reappear the next time I needed the grill. I've had cheap grills from WallyWord that lasted longer! For what I paid for this grill and the high expectation of the Char-Broil name I was very disappointed. Not ecstatic about paying over $100 to replace the grates. Unfortunately I would I am forced to NOT recommend this grill......unless you like scrubbing excessive rust every time you plan to grill!

This grill was excellent...cooked evenly, food tasted awesome, never had any trouble until we needed to replace parts on it from regular wear and tear. We decided that the burners and grates needed replacing after cleaning it several times. The grates had started to what I would call "shred" from cooking and cleaning so much. We do use it year round. After attempting to get parts at a local store and couldn't, I decided to look online. After pricing the parts at several online retailers, it is much cheaper to replace the whole grill than to replace the parts. Sad to see this, as I really like the grill. Also, the first three years of the grill were great, it was well kept and cleaned. We kept the grill covered when we weren't using it, so this wasn't like we didn't take care of it. This was, like I said earlier normal "wear and tear" that we needed to replace these parts. Performance This grill for the first 3 years was excellent in performance. Evenly cooked everything, stayed hot and never gave us an ounce of trouble. Ease of Use We could cook anything on it, from vegetables to meat, to bisquits, etc. It would work for everything. Ease of Cleaning Very easy to clean with a grill brush and some hot water. Cooking spray also helped to clean it and keep stuff from sticking to the grates after cleaning. It was easy to remove the grease trap and clean it out too. Also, the tray underneath was easy to remove and dump. Durability The grilled held up nicely for approximately 3 years until we needed to replace certain parts.

Over the summer we upgraded to a larger more nicer grill. I have been very pleased with the grill. It sits out on the deck and I have yet to get a cover for it. Its been through all kinds of weather and it still has no rust on it. Its very durable but very hard to clean. If you don't clean it right away its very difficult to clean. Its a great investment.

This grill looks great (when new) and cooks food to perfection but the grill plates are way to hard to clean. Performance The infrared definitely made my burgers and chicken cook evenly and they were very juicy. Nothing burned and everything cooked evenly. Versatility The grill has good grilling space and the sides make it easy to rest the meat before and after cooking. Ease of Use The grill is really easy to use - just heat and cook. The burner knobs are easy to use and it's easy to tell what temperature the grill is at at all times. Ease of Cleaning This is a beautiful grill (the first time you cook on it). i bought this grill when I moved into my new house hoping it would be great for entertaining. The first time I used this grill the grills were covered with charred residue that b/c the holes at the bottom are so small there was no way to clean them. I tried 3 different wire brushes but nothing went deep enough to get in between the grates. i actually had to use a toothbrush which took hours and the grates still weren't as shiny clean as they should be. I've used this grill a few times since and every times I've had the same problem. Sadly I'm going to have to buy new grates for next season b/c it just looks awful (and it's new!) Durability The actual grill is very durable but the cooking grates are not. Design Love it - it is very sharp looking.

Thought I bought a good brand name grill, but just found out how they really work. Started rusting in less than two months, called the company and was told it was cosmedic. Can't imagine what it's going to look like in a year or two, and it stays under a enclosed portch. One thing for sure I will never buy another Char-Broil brand, all you are doing is paying a big price for China quality.

I got this grill for my husband for Christmas last year. He uses it almost every day and absolutely loves it. Above all, it uses the propane very efficiently, reducing costs. Further, he has used it almost everyday for the last year and a half, but you could never tell because it was made so well. We have five children who are homeschooled (eat all 3 meals at home), so this grill has gotten tons of use, but still performs amazingly. I love it because I am not a "grillmaster," but on the rare occasion that I have to "keep an eye on this meat," it has been a lifesaver. The food would have been burned beyond recognition had I been using any other grill!! Food is always evenly cooked and the inside is just as done as the outside!! No pink hamburgers!!

When I set out to buy a new grill, I really wanted a charcoal one but quickly became enamored with this beauty. Char-Broil is a name brand you really can stand behind and this grill lives up to it's name brand. It is a sturdy piece of stainless steel and very easy on the eyes. I really like the different burners so I can grill veggies and different types of meats at the same time. I also like how I can sear foods and the extra burner on the outside. Clean up is a breeze if you keep up with the mess after you grill. Just like any grill, it needs TLC to make sure it's clean. It is a gas hookup or propane. We use a propane tank and it will last us two months of straight grilling every night. Must have!

The char-broil 5 burner stainless steel grill is great. It looks nice and clean and cooks really well and with five burners you get a really even cooking expereince. you can cook several thing inside the grill at one time and also cook something else such as vegetable or sauce on the outside burner at the same time. You can see what the inside temperature is on the thermostat so that you know that your food is cooking at the right temperature and make any adjustments as needed. The char-broil stainless steel grill is fairly easy to clean and always looks really nice. It is easy to hookup the gas to the grill and turn on and off, the grill preheats really quickly when you turn on all the burns so you don't have to wait long to grill.

Cooking on my Char-Broil is one of my favorite things to do. I love how easy it is to light. All I do is turn of the propane on and press one button. It starts up every time with no problem and with so much ease. I love using my grill to cook for my family. This thing has 5 burners so I can make the entire meal while I am grilling the meat. It is almost too easy to make an entire meal for your family while enjoying the great outdoors. This grill looks great and classy. It is easy to clean, easy to start up, easy to use, and it makes great tasting food. This is the grill of my dreams. When I was a college student and would grill out with my friends, this was exactly the kind of grill I always dreamed of having when I got older at my own home. Everyone should have one of these in their backyard, or pool area, or wherever they prefer grilling.

For years I have used an old stand by,as well as a charcoil briquit grill to cook my outside meals,my wife bought me this grill,and I gotta say,at first,just the look of it was amazing,the professional quality,the stainless steel,five burners,a side burner to use for sauces,boiling water,whatever,and a nice big compartment underneath to store your every day grilling needs!!!I seriously have NO idea how I grilled without this unit before,I thanked my wife,MORE than once,also recommended this unit to a friend,who came over,we had a bar-b-que,and he went out and bought the same unit the next day,thats how impressive this grill truly is. If you want to experience grilling the real way,then this is the unit for you.everything else is just a weiner on a stick over and open fire!
