This is amazing. I made Scandinavian waffles. I use it with the Toro gluten free waffle mix. Its extremely easy to use. I put the mix in, set it how brown I want my waffle and it makes a loud beep to let me know its done...If you are used to using American waffle makers be a little easy on how much batter you poor into this waffle maker, a little goes a long way. This is the best I've owned.

I have to be completely honest and start off by informing you that one of the main reasons I ended up buying the Chef's Choice Waffle Pro Heart Shaped Waffle Iron was because it was on clearance after Valentine's Day. This waffle iron has definitely paid for itself time and time again. I am pleased with the overall cost verses value. With that being said, I have no complaints about eating these heart shaped waffles that turn out perfect every time. I LOVE them (no pun intended). Time and time again, this Chef's Choice waffle iron evenly cooks the waffles within a few minutes without sticking. I have experimented with whole wheat and gluten free waffle options without any issues. In addition, the Chef's Choice Waffle Pro Heart Shaped Waffle Iron is easy to clean. I have not had any issues with waffles burning. Is it time for Saturday breakfast yet? I am craving blueberry waffles. <3 <3 <3

This is the second heart shaped waffle maker I purchased; the first one got destroyed when someone used chocolate chips in the batter and neglected to keep an eye on them. The chocolate ended up getting scorched and stuck in the intricate design of the waffle pattern. It never cooked right after that and no matter how much I cleaned the waffle plates, there was always a strange taste to the waffles or pancakes. You can use this a couple different ways; you can use it to make complete pancakes or waffles or to break them apart and have mini pieces. Either way, there's bound to be some disappointment because there will be times when you aren't going to get a strong impression from the heart shaped design. That's when its best to try and separate the hearts and use the smaller ones for decorations or dip them in chocolate and let them harden. To get the best results you are going to want to pour the batter along the middle of the iron so that it spreads evenly. If you are using a boxed mix and it calls for the use of eggs you will get fluffier waffles or pancakes but that means that you are going to end up losing some of the detail of the pattern. You can use this for birthdays, anniversaries or whenever you want to embarrass your teen but it requires a little extra time and effort to make perfect looking breakfast treats.

I received this as a gift from my husband on valentines day as our first appliance in our new home, other than what came with the apartment and our microwave. So of course with it being valentine's day I thought it was fitting to make heart shaped waffles. I found many problems with this particular waffle maker that made it not worth it but I didn't want to disappoint my husband or disapprove of his very thoughtful gift so I kept trying to get it to work like it should. I tried many times and the problems I kept coming up against were frustrating to say the least. Firstly, the indicator light on the top is suppose to turn on when it is hot enough and then turn back off when the waffle is done, I put the batter in when the indicator light said it was ready and opened it when it indicated that the waffle was done. When I opened it however, the waffle was barely cooked and still runny inside. I tried again and then waited longer to open it and it was mostly cooked through. When I tried to remove it, it had stuck to the inside of the waffle maker and burnt on even though it was not finished cooking. One of the other problems that I found was that the waffle plates are supposed to detach for easy cleaning and I could not get them to come off! Additionally, the waffle maker takes an excruciatingly long time to cool off enough to try to clean it.

I originally bought my Chef's Choice Waffle Pro Hear Shaped Waffle Iron to make my hubby a Valentine's Day breakfast in bed. I love all the different things I can create with the little heart shaped waffles. I make blueberry waffles, chocolate chip waffle sandwiches with vanilla ice cream in the middle and topped with chocolate syrup, the possibilities are endless! My children love to get their favorite waffle sandwiches or flower shaped waffles for breakfast on their birthdays. I love making my husband lots of love filled breakfasts in bed. I am always getting complimented on how well the waffles taste too. The Chef's Choice Waffle Pro Heart Shaped Waffle Iron is fairly easy to clean as well. The settings are easy to follow and it is a very durable machine. I use it all the time for breakfasts and for desserts. I feel like I have my own personal IHop in my kitchen with this waffle iron! I just love it!

I have had other waffle makers in the past, but this one is my favorite. It makes adorable but large heart shaped waffle that are great for both adults and kids. You can make the batter any way you want to with this waffle maker. You can make any flavor or type of waffle that you want. It's great because you can customize your waffles every time you use it. It's very easy to use, and makes delicious waffles every time. I have never had a burnt or undercooked waffle with this machine. I've made pumpkin waffles, chocolate chip, strawberry banana, and blueberry. The great thing about this waffle maker is that you don't even have to use cooking oil spray with it because the waffles do not stick to the machine. I like to use it anyways just in case, but if you didn't have any on hand you could still have your waffles. It makes waffles in under a minute, and it makes a fast easy breakfast! Performance I get perfect waffles just the way I like them, every time I use this waffle maker. Settings/Features The settings are easy to use. They are basically just to determine how you want your waffles cooked, and tell you when they are done. They are simple features, nothing hard to use. Ease of Cleaning I usually don't have to wash it in the sink at all. It doesn't make much of a mess. All I do it wipe it down with some water and a paper towel, and same for the outside of the waffle maker. Ease of Use This waffle maker is very easy to use. You don't even need to use the manual, because all you have to do it turn the waffle maker on, put the batter in, close it, and then wait for it to light up and tell you it's done. Durability I've had this waffle maker for a few years, and it is very durable. I haven't had any problems with it yet, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It still looks just as good as the day I bought it.

This is something that I would have never bought for myself; I got it as a second-hand gift from a friend who was clearing out her house while she was in the middle of a divorce. She asked for it on her wedding registry and I joked that it was going to jinx her marriage because it was so cute. Three years later she showed up at my door with the box, handed it to me and just laughed about it. This is a standard sized waffle maker with non-stick plates; the plates are not removable but it is extremely easy to clean when you are done using it. It is a plug-and-use model that heats up and is ready to use in about two minutes; the design that it leaves on / in the waffles is extremely cute and the pattern is made up of five hearts with smaller heart accents inside it. I use this to make homemade waffles when I have a houseful of people and want to have a lot of options for breakfast and brunch but I also use it to make homemade ice cream cones. To do that you need to use a waffle cone recipe and have something that you can bend it around as soon as you take it off the iron. I use a thick plastic high-heat cone that I purchased at a restaurant supply store. My boys really don't care about the heart shape but when I have other people over the guys usually give me a strange look when they see a stack of these. The actual waffle shape is round but the components of it are heart shaped. If you want to make mini waffles you can cut the hearts apart but you need to let them cool off for a couple of minutes or they will end up ripping.

Nothing bad to say about this product. The design is aesthetically pleasing and functional. It smells quite strongly the first few times it is heated, but this subsides. The heart shaped waffles are the waffle pattern used for Norwegian waffles, and as such is a sweet reminder of home. It cleans off easily. I love the two settings for crispness, and the option of choosing how dark I want the waffles. We love it! Performance It performs like expected, excellent! Settings/Features All settings we've tried so far are great. Great waffles overall. We've even made waffle s'mores!!! Ease of Cleaning It helps to cover the counter with paper towels underneath the wafflemaker if you're prone to spilling. Afterwards, simply let the waffle maker cool and wipe off with the paper towels. Ease of Use Easy to use. We kept the manual for future reference, but haven't consulted it so far. Durability We have not had this product for more than a year, but so far it's holding up great!

the kids love the heart-shaped waffles. the chef's choice waffle maker is easy to use. the non-stick feature is wonderful. just be sure not to put too much waffle batter in or it will spread out too far and you will have a mess to clean up if it runs over the edges. we've had the waffle maker for a number of years and have had no problems with it.
