This clairol permanent hair color in reddest mahogany red is very rich and high in pigments. I've used this color on a client once with a 20 volume and she loved her results. I even took before and after pictures. She was very happy with it. They sell this at sallys beauty supply. Its sometimes on sale and sometimes not. Its that kind of red that has a little bit of brown to it as its under tone. It doesn't turn orange or anything like that it has double the RR so that means its high in red pigment of the hair color. If you want more of a red tone to it then always stick to the doube RR if you want that rich red. It lasts a pretty good amount of time but all reds down last forever but it does work awesome and it works great. If you want your hair a lighter red lighten your hair first then apply the color. It comes out different on everybody but always use a 20 volume to open the cuticle of the hair and it will deposit the color mahogany red.

I use thie miss clairol colorsilk permanent home coloring system because I  used to have to dye my hair once a month.  I have been greying since I was about 11 years old.  I have used other products like Revlon,Garnier Hair color,Nice and Easy and Cairol Professionals. The Miss Clairol Colorsilk is very easy to use but the color last longer in my hair.  Before dicovering this product I used to have to dye my hair about once a month.  This box method is very quick and easy  and after a while you barely have to pay any attention to what your doig anymore.   Every time that I use this product my hair had a lusturous shine and was very soft and manageable,it must be something about the conditioner pack that comes in the box. I have tried the rest and this is one of the best home coloring systems ,I have used.  Also it is not terribly expensice and the entire process including restyling your hair can be done in about an hour. My hair is very thick and medium length,so maybe two boxes for longer hair.

The Miss Clairol Professional Conditioning Hair Color is the only hair color I use.  I use the 203RR, Reddest Mahogany Brown and I get many compliments on the color.  I have and will continue to recommend it to anyone looking for this color.  I use Volume 10 creme developer with it.
