I got this for the first time from my mother while I was in high school. It worked fabulously on my teenaged skin. I'd apply it in the morning and again in the afternoon and usually within about 24 hours I'd see the acne begin to shrink and within 48 hours it would start to dry up. Now that I'm closer to 30 years old than I am to 20 years old, I've continued to use this product, but found that it does not always work as effectively as it did when I was younger. I've read reviews that this Clean and Clear product works well as a spot treatment for blackheads, but I have not found that to be the case. It will still start to shrink the occasional zit or pimple in a couple of days and will have it dried out in just under a week. Overall, If you're young and don't have serious acne, I would highly recommend this product. If you have more serious acne, you may want to consider a stronger or prescription acne medication.

I had the worst pimple ever on my upper lip. I tried popping it and it wasn't ready to be popped so it got bigger and it looked really red. I needed something convenient and fast. I seen this Clean and Clear invisible blemish treatment and it worked miracles. I like how it goes on clear and it reduced the redness in less then an hour. I noticed my pimple went down a lot by the end of the day. By morning it was already flat and it didn't even look like I had anything there. It didn't burn and it didn't sting my breakouts. I only had to apply this once a day and it went under my makeup without being noticeable. This even works on blackheads. I put it all over my nose and I noticed the size of them looked a lot smaller. I really like this treatment, it works fast and it doesn't irritate my skin. My skin looks a lot clearer and I like how this product even prevents them from coming. I would definitely buy this product again. I highly recommend this to anybody who has any blemishes they want to get rid of, it really works on any type of breakout.

I never thought that I would still be using any kind of products to keep my skin free of pimples well in to my thirties. Yet here I am, still trying out new acne products. I'm pretty sure I've tried at least half of the products out there by now lol! This Clean & Clear Invisible Blemish Treatment is one of my favorites. I can't use the same cream or gel too long or it stops being effective, so I switch back and forth between a few brands I like and try new ones in between. This one is nice because it's clear. Slapping on gloppy white zit cream and climbing in bed with your husband at night is just not a good look, though I suppose neither is a bunch of gross pimples. This works well to reduce the size of current breakouts and prevent new ones from starting. Since it's clear it can also be worn under makeup, however you have to be careful that you don't put it on too thick or it will flake as you apply foundation. Effectiveness I think this also help with old acne scars. I have some on my cheeks from when I was a teenager and this seems to make them less noticeable. I'm not sure if it's just really good for your skin or what, but I do see a difference. Side Effects I have had no side effects from this product.

Good for Black heads I use this for the blackheads that are present around my nasal area. This is good for clearing these blackheads as a spot treatment. I wash my face and then apply this to my nasal area at bedtime. It sticks a bit, because of how concentrated this product is. It will go away in a fwe seconds after use It is based on salicyclic acid. If you have sensitive skin, it will cause more irritation and may hinder your acne treatment. It dries the skin up but the stinging will drop. MAybe best to use it occasionally if you have sensitve skin. But it also helps with the pimples quicker, however it can leave some scarring. I do have some scarring on my cheek area Side Effects A bit burning and lasting redness after use. Can make eyes watery as well if in close contact with product Immediacy You have to apply it several times during the day in order for you to get the most benefit out of this product. Otherwise, you will not see results at all

Do you remember being in kindergarten and being obsessed with school glue?  My friends and I would apply the glue in a thin layer on the palms of our hands, and then wait for it to dry.  Once it was dry, you would see a layer that you could peel off like dead skin.   That's what I'm reminded of whenever I use **Clean & Clear Maximum Strength Invisible Blemish Treatment**.  Let me tell you, this product is not always invisible. Like similar products, Clean & Clear contains 2% salicylic acid as its active ingredient.   The only thing that differentiates this product from other 2% salicylic acid treatments is how well it applies and absorbs into the blemish.  Conventional wisdom and dermatological studies maintain that salicylic acid is an effective blemish treatment.  So my reason for using one product over another is how it looks and feels on my skin. According to the directions, you are supposed to cleanse thoroughly before applying.  I do.  Then, you cover the affected area with a thin layer of the gel one to three times per day.  I tend to use these types of products once in the morning and again at night.  So far, so good.  I've followed the instructions to a "T." When I apply the product at night, I guess I just assume that it dried clear.  It seemed to absorb okay and I don't take the time to look at it in the mirror.  However, when I do check out my face in the morning, I frequently find a layer of dried acne gel on my skin and I proceed to pull it off.  I would say that this happens about every third time I use it.  It absolutely does work to diminish the outbreak so the treatment gel is effective.   However, if you are using the product during the day and you really need it to be invisible, please check your face in the morning. Otherwise, don't be surprised if a kindergartner suddenly reaches up to pull a layer of acne gel off of your face.

My teens and I  have some form of acne.  It been difficult to find a product that takes care of the problem no matter what type of acne it is.  After trying a variety of those on the market, my 19 year old twins suggested Clean & Clear.  Waiting a few weeks, and hesitating a little more, I tried it to see what would happen.  To my surprise it really works!  Not only that, it works on a single pimple.  For instance, I had one pimple on the side of my forhead.  It was just about to reach he point of "hugeness", when I thought, why not use Clean & Clear as a spot treatment as well.  So I used a dot of the acne cleanser by itself on the pimple in the morning, and by evening all the soreness had gone.  The next morning, it had gone down half way, and by that evening it was hardly visible.  Of course I thought, it couldn't be that easy.  And I was so glad it worked so well, because looking in the mirror was proof enough for me!

Disappointing would be how I would describe Clean & Clear Invisible Blemish Treatment. We have heard a lot of positives about Clean & Clear products so we had high hopes this product would work. That was not the case. My daughter can tend to have very acne-prone skin and she has tried a lot of products with varying results. The commercials and advertisements for Clean & Clear products seem promising so we decided to try this product. For the first two days, we noticed no change. The next day, her acne seemed to clear up slightly, but her skin was noticeably dryer. After the short clear-up, her acne returned within a couple days, but she decided to stick with it awhile and give it some time to work. By the end of the week, her skin was terribly dry and flaky, and the gel burned as she applied it if she had recently washed her face. After around 2 weeks, she decided to give up on the Clean & Clear Invisible Blemish Treatment. At this point, there were no positive effects and only negative side effects. Unfortunately, we are now hesitant to try any other Clean & Clear acne products.

I am 50 now and acne is the last thing that I expect until I was around 45 when I first had rosacea.  The acne also came back soon after.  The condition is not severe to warrant seeing the doctor but with an acne popping up from time to time is not pleasant at all.  I  read that BHA (salicylic acid) may help and I bought this Clean & Clear Invisible Blemish Treatment.  It is a 22 ml tube containing 2 % salicylic acid and costs only a few bucks.  With only one or two acne at a time, the tube will last a long time.  It does help but the effect is not as good as I expect.  It is invisible so it's not obvious after I put it on, but it tends to peel after it dries.  The healing also takes a few days, not fast at all.  When I was young, I used the Clinque Touchstick and it's more effective.  Don't know whether Clinque still carries that product.  Next time I prefer to pay more for better result.
