I am rating this a 7 out of 10 only because I wish the product wasn't harmful to the environment. It works so well and there is never that dirty toilet brush sitting in the bathroom. Performance Performance wise, this thing is easy to use and cleans wonderfully. You just attach the refill to the wand, wet the refill in the toilet and then scrub all while only touching the top part of the handle. I have been using this product since for at least six years now. I do use the refill on more than one toilet. I usually clean 2-3 toilets with one refill depending on how much use each toilet got. Scent There really is no scent with this product which is nice. No fragrance or chemical smell that I have noticed at least it's not strong enough for me to smell.

This product did not work for me. I bought it thinking it would disinfect and leave my toilet smelling and looking clean. I was wrong. So, it works fine with the first 2-3 flushes. Then if I let it sit the for more than a day, the toilet smells like a toxic bowl, and the entire room smells funny. I thought I could still mask it by putting down the lid or spraying the room, but what about when you're actually sitting there. Nah, it's just too much to bear with. The other issue I had was, I kept using it on other toilets (I didnt want it to just throw it in trash) mainly on the ones that i dont go to - it doesnt stick well on certain toilet bowl type and it ended up clogging my toilet. I was told by my plumber that this product is the culprit, since he had seen it before in other repairs. Scent Horrible, I wish they could come up with something nicer, i.e. lavender, fresh linen, or the bleach scent itself. I dont mind smelling bleach in my toilet - but when it gets mixed up with water and whatever goes in the toilet, the room is odoriffic!

Cleaning the bathrooms can be a chore, however nothing is better than having a nice clean smelling bathroom. Clorox has made cleaning my bathroom much easier and this toilet wand is the perfect solution to cleaning toilets. I love that my hands never have to touch the water, and I do not have to wear gloves. You simply put a disposable brush onto the end of the wand, and when clean the toilets without ever getting your hands wet. My toilets come out cleaner using this wand than by scrubbing them with my hands. Once you are done cleaning, you simply press the little blue button and the brush head falls into the garbage. It literally leaves my toilets sparkling and makes the bathroom smell fresh and clean. These wands are very reasonably priced and I can usually find a coupon to make them even more reasonable. Performance A perfect 10! My toilets come out looking like brand new with minimal work. Scent I like that these leave a clean smell behind. I think a bathroom looks cleaner when it smells clean.

While the concept of this product is fantastic, I have discovered through my use with it that it's not something I would purchase again. Your initial purchase is of a plastic handle (the wand) and some octagonal sponges. The sponges are pre-loaded with cleaner. You snap one onto the handle and start sweeping the inside of your toilet, flushing first to get water moving which releases the cleaning product from the sponge. There's sufficient cleaner to do a good job getting the toilet bowl clean. The scent isn't offensive but is clean. You then reject the sponge from the handle into the trash, store the handle, and use a fresh sponge the next time you clean. You need to purchase additional sponges eventually, and the cost adds up quickly. I prefer to use a traditional brush and toilet bowl cleaner for a clean that is just as effective, only one or two additional steps and much more economical.

I like the convenience of the scour pad, however, I find it doesn't work too well on more difficult stains. If I don't get around to cleaning one of the less-used bathrooms on schedule, the water stains take more work than the wand can provide. For regular use and normal cleaning it is fine. Like not having to touch the dirty pad to remove. Scent It has a pleasant scent; not too over-powering. It doesn't linger, but does give off a clean smell while using it and shortly after. I like that about it.

I love the Clorox ToiletWand System in theory more than in practice. Traditional toilet brushes get so nasty, and I find myself throwing them away all the time. Additionally, we have hard water in our home, so they quickly get rust-colored stains on the base and even on the bristles. I have always wanted to invent a reusable wand with disposable brush heads. Clorox has solved that problem, but it is not without flaws. The toilet wand head (refill) is supposed to be for single use, but that does seem a bit wasteful to me, considering how much refills cost. I do appreciate the swiveling motion of the wand, but I'd still like a bit more flexibility to maneuver around the toilet rim and bowl. I love the disinfecting properties of Clorox bleach and use it all over my household in the germiest places, such as toilet bowls and trash cans. Overall, I think the Clorox ToiletWand System is a great concept that just needs some tweaking and minor improvements. Performance I am a fan of Clorox for its cleaning abilities. Scent Obviously smells like Clorox, a bit strong, but that is to be expected.

I like the idea of the Clorox Toilet Wand System but it fell short in cleaning the toilet. I don't like harboring germs around my house so a product you could use to clean and throw away seemed perfect for my needs. However, we have hard water stains that build up between cleanings in our toilets. I couldn't get all the stains out of the toilet using this wand. I followed the directions but it didn't seem like there was enough cleaner on the sponge. In fact, I couldn't see that any cleaner was on the sponge at all except for the bleach smell. I opened another sponge and tried the other toilet thinking maybe the sponge was defective but I achieved the same lackluster result. This item is pricey to begin with but the fact that it didn't effectively clean my toilet left me feeling like I just flushed my money down the toilet. I don't recommend this product to anyone who is worried about cleaning hard water stains in their toilet.

I got the Clorox ToiletWand a few months ago on a great sale and have been pretty pleased with how well it works. I bought the whole kit that came with the stand and compartment to put the refills in. I was shocked when I went back to the store to get refills at how expensive they are! Even though I really like it and it works well, it is not worth it for me when I already have a toilet brush and can get several bottles of cleaner that will last months for what I can get for 10 of these refills. It is nice that you can just scrub the toilet and swish it in the bowl and then deposit it right in the trash can. I guess some people don't mind paying extra for that bit of convenience, but I am not one of them. I have gone back to using liquid cleaner and am more happy with that price of it. But it does work well if you find a good deal or want to give it a try. The cleaner in them is not harsh smelling either which I also liked.

I have several sets of the Clorox Toilet Wand Cleaning System - enough for all three of my bathrooms. I used to use the Scrubbing Bubbles wand system, but then changed over to this. I do enjoy the scrubbing action of the pad that comes with this, and the wand is comfortable and easy to use. The pads click in so that you know they are secure, and they provide a good amount of cleaning power per each pad. The downside of this is that the pads are not flushable. I really think for sanitary reasons, it would be nice if the pads were flushable, so you don't have to drip the dirty toilet water-filled pad from the toilet over to the trash. The other downside of this product is, it doesn't clean off really heavy-duty hard water rings. I always have to use this product in conjunction with "The Works" or some type of other toilet bowl cleaner. Usually I will put the toilet bowl cleaner inside the bowl, let that sit for awhile, and then follow up with this to really get hard water rings off. So, I do like this product and think it's easy to use, the pads provide good scouring power, but it could probably have some improvements.
