Of all that straightening irons I've ever used, this one is by far the best. I don't know how it does it, but the straightening to my hair is super smooth and shiny and the best part is that it lasts through weather and throughout the day. The iron also heats up very fast and is a fun color!

I like this iron. As far as straighteners go, it is not the cheapest one on the market, but it is far from the most expensive. It does what it needs to do and seems to be of great quality. I have not had mine that long, but it seems pretty durable. I have dropped it few times as it hasn't broken. Also I like that it doesn't burn my fingers while I hold it shut to get a better grip on my hair. Some of the cheap ones actually burned my fingers through the plastic, this did not.

I love this product. Everytime I'm in hurry and have no time to do my hair I just straightener my hair in 5 min. I have long hair and everyone ask how long do I take to make my hair and when I say 5 to 10 min nobody believes me. thanks to the person who gift me this.

This straightener is great!! I love using it in the morning for touching up before work. I jump out of the shower, blow dry, srtaighten, and done! It's great for busy on the go people. Its big and bulky, though. Good for straighting large pieces of hair.

Recently, I began perusing the internet hair sites on how to acheive longer healthier hair. As an African American with then relaxed hair, I soon learned that it was all about protection from heat and moisture, moisture, MOISTURE!! Well, I took a look at the state of my "been-with-me-since-colloge" flat irons and then were in need of replacment. I did my online research and came across the Conair Infinity and fell in love. At the time the hottest thing going was the Chi and it's amazing awesomeness, but as a mother of two on a budget...anit no way, as they say. So I bought this and was delighted. It was tourmaline, streamlined, even looked futuristic. It was heat controlled with it's highest setting at 395 degrees. It even had freakin' Swarovski crystals embedded in it's frame!! Being new to the flatiron game, I first ignored the tugging on my hair because it was swining and gleaming. It would pull out strands on it's very tip due to it's design. After just a few uses, it became annoying. I went out and being a frugal consumer, I bought a Revlon Remington at Wal-Mart. After using that, there was no way I would tolerate the ripping of hair this design of flatiron inflicted on my strands. I actually tried to sell this flatiron on a hair site and the only response I got was, "Is this the one that pulls your hair out?" So there you go. I gave it two stars because it's pretty and shiny and I like shiny things:)

this strighnter is the best thing i ever had for my hair it goes from extreamlky frizzzzy to smoth and silkey  it heats up fast and you can not only strigns=ten your hair but you can curl under flip out and even add spirals. your hair will be feeling brand new look better and feel healither just by having a good flat iron and this is one of them  it takes me fifteen  mins to do my hair with this flar iron the onld one i had took me fourty five mins to do and no one wants to spend hrs on their hair this is the flat iron that works with high heat and cermmice plates it doesnt do as much dammage and other flat irons it works realllllllly well and u wont regret buying it and then every on will notice the diffrenct in your hair. i reccomed this flat iron to all my friends and not alllistened but the few that did abslutly loved it. my hair goes from curley looking like a perm justout the showe to a lions main when dry to slilky smotes with this flat iron u need to go get one

I was nervous about buying the Conair Steam Straightener, because nothing has ever worked for my hair. I have short, very thick naturally curly hair...and nothing seems to help tame it. The first time I tried this straightener, I knew I was in love. The steam really helps to make my hair shiny and healthy looking, and the prongs inside the straightener help to untangle my hair, leaving it straight and soft.

The Conair for Course Hair is ok but not the best.  I do like the 2 inch plates which is good for my hair however, the plates get a sticky residue on them that is hard to get off.  My hair will frizz later in the day after using it.  I have used better ones where my hair stays straight all day with no frizz.  Recommended if you need an inexpensive flat iron.

I have been using the Conair SS9 Infiniti Nano Silver High Temperature Ionic Steam Straightener for almost a year now and I am very satisfied with this Iron. It helps quickly straighten my thick hair and the best part is that it stays straight for almost 2-3 days until i wash them again. It takes a little practice to master this iron. At first I thought it was a messy proposition as I had to fill up the water chamber and wait for it to heat up, but once you know the procedure you can quickly get the work done. I would recommend filling the iron with slightly warm water rather than straight from tap cold water as it cuts the heating time in half and gets the steam running in no time. Also, you may want to use distilled water in it so that the iron is protected from the mineral build up.I think for the price it is a great buy.  The only cons I could see with this product is that the water reservoir is kind of small and runs dry too quickly and needs to be refilled again.
