I am a huge fan of Craftsman products and this is the second Craftsman lawn mower that I have purchased. It is a basic mower with no separate bag attachment because I prefer to leave my mulched clippings on the lawn. It is a pain to have to keep emptying a bag , in my opinion but this is a matter of preference . This mower has larger wheels in back than front for easy maneuvering - it is lightweight and cuts well and clean . It is probably best for smaller yards - my lot is only around 5500 square feet . It does not have a lot of bells and whistles but was already assembled when I purchased it in the box - you just had to attach the handle and add the container of oil which was included, gas up and begin mowing . No special tools or skills were needed which was a plus for me . THis is a good choice for older people or the ladies and people who mow 2-3 times a month on small areas . The only drawback with this that I have found is the attachmnent on the side for mulching falls off once in awhile when I am near the edge of a fence of a bush but maybe I do not have it securely attached . This mower starts easily - no primer bulb , just a pull cord and it is not hard to pull . No electric start or anything special , but starts every time on the first try . It is a budget price for a mower that works very well - I would recommend it for anyone on a budget who wants a quality mower .
