Summary

Come in From the Cold Faster When you Clear the Drive with This 21 Inch Snow Blower

Keep your driveway, porch and paths clear this winter with this 21 Inch Snow Thrower from Craftsman. Shoveling even a small snowfall can be backbreaking work, but it doesn't have to be that way. This unit propels itself forward and clears pavement clean with very little effort from you. Just guide it using the ergonomic gull wing handle. The 21-inch width means you can maneuver small spaces like walkways and decks with ease. Meanwhile, the 13-inch intake height means you can clear a lot of snow from those small spaces, with just one pass. The chute rotates 190 degrees, so you can throw the snow just where you want it-not where you just cleared.

This 21 Inch Snow Blower is compact but has a powerful 123 cc 4-cycle OHV Craftsman engine that just wont' quit. It starts easy, too, with easy-to-grasp mitten-grip starter handles. Even better, there's no mixing gas and oil out in the cold just to keep it running!

My go-to snow thrower!

Whether you are trying to remove light snow or heavy snow, this snow thrower does the job! I have owned this machine for three years now, and I use it every winter. It is efficient, and it does not take too long to remove the snow. It was decently-priced, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable snow thrower. Performance This snow thrower works like a charm. It can remove even the heaviest of snow with ease. Handling This machine is actually not too cumbersome, and I can maneuver it easily. This is an aspect I really enjoy about this snow thrower. Durability It is very durable. After three long and snow-filled winters, I still have not encountered any issues with this machine. Ease of Use I love this aspect the most. I read the instructions booklet once, and I learned how to use this snow thrower right away without any problems. Engine Power This is not a heavy machine, but you would be surprised by the amount of engine power it has.

Makes Clearing Snow A Snap

This snow thrower is great. Gone are the days where I have to use a snow shovel and break my back and get exhausted. I make short work of the snow in my driveway when I use this snow thrower. I get done so quickly that I make sure to do my neighbor's driveway as well as a lot of the neighborhood sidewalk. I actually enjoy clearing snow now that I have this great machine. Performance This snow thrower works so fast that you'll be really surprised. I have so much more time than in the past when I used a shovel to clear snow. Handling It isn't too large of a machine that it's hard to use. I am about an average sized man, 180 pounds and I can control this snow thrower easily. Durability All the components are still working perfectly even though I have been using it like crazy in the neighborhood. It's going to last me many winters. Ease of Use It's easy to figure out how to use this snow thrower. Engine Power The engine is nice and strong. It throws the snow so easily that I can tell it is working like a well oiled machine, which is what it is.

Keeps My Driveway Free of Snow!

Living on over a half acre lot in northern Ohio it is absolutely crucial that we use a snow blower in our driveway and surrounding sidewalks. This is a very nice snow blower that is easy to use. My husband loves this Snow Thrower because it saves him time and it is very easy for him to use since he has a bad back. Sometimes he will even do the neighbors driveways as well for them with our Craftsman snow blower. I have even used it several times and found that it is very light weight and easy enough for anyone to use in the winter. The wheels on the snow thrower turn and glide well so it is a thousand times easier than shoveling a very long driveway or sidewalk. I don't think the arms are adjustable which is one feature I would have liked to have in since I am pretty short. Other than that, it has worked quite well for us and we are both very happy with it it. It has been a real lifesaver for us during winter and it is a great snow thrower to own. It is quite powerful and it doesn't take a lot of gas to power up either.

Efficient Snow Blower

We purchased this snow blower after our first winter passed in Colorado. We got a decent amount of snow and the shoveling on an almost daily basis took its toll on our backs. My husband and I did our research and decided on this particular one because of its reviews and features. This snow blower is gas powered which is great for our cul-de-sac so we an take turns doing the "community" sidewalk without worrying about having an extension cord to power the blower. I really like the large pull start handle, I can pull start this blower with my large cold weather gloves on with no problem. No matter how old out this blower starts the first time, every time. This machine is not too heavy allowing me to easily maneuver it around the driveway and sidewalks without any trouble. Our driveway has a decent slope to it. The chute is adjustable and done so easily. This snow blower has worked well on both light and heavy snow days at varying depths.

Good Powerful Snowblower

I bought this secondhand several years ago and couldn't have made a better purchase. I live in northern Oklahoma, and although we don't get a huge amount of snow, we do get enough that one of these comes in very handy during the winter season. This was about four years old when I purchased it and it is still working great after owning it for several years. It definitely will last you a long time as long as you keep up with the maintenance on it and if it's taken good care of. Performance I haven't owned very many snowblowers as this is only the second one I've had. However, it runs better than the first snowblower I owned and its performance is excellent. It's pretty powerful for it's size and takes about half an hour to clear our driveway, sidewalks and our back porch, which is made of cement. You won't go wrong when purchasing this snowblower and I highly recommend it. Before owning this snowblower, it would take me hours to clear that large of an area with just a shovel, so it does cut down on how long I have to spend outside in the cold. Handling It's not a lightweight snowblower, and is pretty heavy to move around, so it's handling is the only problem I have found with it. Durability This snowblower is just right around 6 years old and is still working great. Ease of Use It's a little hard to maneuver, but other than that it's easy to use and can sling snow a lot faster than I can, which is all I need. Engine Power It's pretty powerful, which is what I wanted in a snowblower.

Not worth it

The Craftsman Single Stage Snow Thrower has got to be one of the worst snow blower models out there. It does not do anything it was built to do. I used this unit in both large amounts of snow, and shallow amounts, and I get the same results. This blower will leave a good amount of snow lying on the ground no matter how many times you pass over it. On top of that snow will pack around the wheels making it even harder to move around. This snow blower is not a very light piece of equipment. You will often find yourself struggling to move it especially in deeper parts of snow. The only good thing about the Craftsman snow blower is that it is a cinch to put together, and it starts up really easy. Beyond that it's just a pile of junk. Overall, save your money and spend it on a good reliable shovel. Or just pay the neighbor kids to help out. Performance Does not remove snow. Leaves at least an inch of snow on the ground.

Great quality snowblower!

I've been using this snowblower for 10+ years. My dad had bought it when we first moved into our house (I was always the one to snowplow, though), and it does a great job. We had a large driveway, which took hours and hours to shovel by hand. With this snowblower, I could finish in half an hour. The snowblower itself is pretty heavy, so you do have to be kind of strong to maneuver it around, but once you get it moving, it stays moving for a while. It does a great job of blowing the snow off the driveway and it gets pretty far does, so even if there are a couple of inches on the ground, this snowblower will help tremendously. Handling It can be really hard to move - it's a really heavy product, but when you get it moving it is pretty easy to keep it moving. Engine Power It has good engine power and can pass through almost any amount of snow and it works really well for big driveways. I do like this snowblower and it's a good quality product.

Great snow blower

Overall this snow blower does the job well, and I guess that's all that matters. It feels like it's sturdy and well made. I would recommend this snow blower for someone who has a problem with snow and needs to get it moved from one place to another. Performance It performs well, at least, it gets the job done. It moves the snow from where I do not want it to somewhere else. Handling The handling is pretty good, it is not hard to steer this. You turn the machine on, grab that handle that looks similar to a lawn mower and starts steering it. Durability I have not owned this machine for very long, but it's lasted pretty well so far. I'm sure it will last for quite a few years yet. Which is good considering it was an investment for my household, not something you want to go out and buy new every year. Ease of Use Pretty use, you just turn it on, and go to work. If you have ever used a snow blower before you will be able to figure this one out. Engine Power I wish the engine power was more, but then, it does the job of clearing the snow, so I guess that's all that really matters.
