I love this coffee maker. If you're like us who need our coffee first thing in the morning and hate waiting for the other persons coffee to brew this is the perfect product for you. My husband prefers darker roasts and I prefer flavors coffee. This coffee maker allows me to make our coffee at the same time with the coffee pod flavors we prefer. Super easy to use. It works just like the other single serve coffee makers. Pod in, press the buttom. Voila! We each get our cup at the same time.

My husband and I tried the Cuisinart 2-Cup Single-Serve Coffee Maker in a hotel room and, while it met our needs for a quick cup of joe, it's definitely not the right choice for a barrista. Pros: easily makes one or two cups of coffee (or tea); water heats quickly; simple instructions so it's a breeze to use. Cons: there are no adjustments for temperature, brew strength, etc., so the amount of water and the type of coffee are the only aspects of the coffee that you control. Brew Performance It heats the water sufficiently to make a decent cup of coffee or tea, but my husband found the coffee not to be quite as strong as he would have liked (and, since there's no timing control, he couldn't just brew it longer). Ease of Cleaning The Cuisinart 2-Cup Single-Serve Coffee Maker uses single-serving coffee pods (or just dispenses hot water) directly into your cup, so there's very little cleaning needed. Ease of Use Other than the power button, the only control feature is one cup or two. The directions are incredibly simple: select the number of cups to make; fill the water tank to the corresponding level; put the coffee pods in the machine (or put your teabag in your cup); put the cup(s) in the cupholder(s) and press the power button. That's it. Design The Cuisinart 2-Cup Single-Serve Coffee Maker takes up a bit more counter space than it ideally would, but otherwise the design is simple and streamlined. Durability We didn't have any problems with the Cuisinart 2-Cup Single-Serve Coffee Maker and, since it was in a hotel, we expect it gets a lot of use.

My wife and I love coffee so purchasing this was great for us.  It was easy to use, easy to assemble, and produces coffee shop like coffee.  We were able to go to Macy's and purchase the pods for this pretty easily. As we both work in the morning, we need our morning cup of joe to function.  This saves us time by being able to brew two at once instead of waiting for one.  The pods taste great and all we have to do is place it in the machine.  We feel cuisinart is a good brand and were convinced to buy this by the representative at the store.  At first we were looking at purchasing a Bosch Tassimo or the Keurig, but after seeing that this could do two pods at once, we were instantly drawn to it.   The water does not splash around when it brews and the area around our coffee machine stays clean and dry. I would recommend this machine to a couple who doesn't have the time in the morning do brew extra cups of coffee.
