This is the coffee maker that I had before I got my simpler one. I absolutely loved this coffee maker. I love that I could purchase whole bean coffee (I often found that my coffee tasted fresher than when I used already ground beans) and grind it right before my coffee brewed. I love the programmable features and that I could set the coffee maker to brew my coffee right before I woke up. The one feature that I was not impressed with was the about of residue that accumulated inside the machine over a period of time. It was nothing that a quick vinegar rinse didn't take care of, but I still found that it was bothersome and affected the coffee taste somewhat. Aside from this minor inconvenience, I was more than impressed with this grind and brew coffee maker and would definitely recommend it to a friend! It is easy to use, cost effective, and lasts a long time. Definitely a sensible purchase!

I am away at school right now, but at my house we have this coffee maker. I am IN LOVE with it! It consistently gives me delicious coffee and it is very easy to use. I love that you can choose how many cups to grind and make at a time, and the fact that everything is automatic is great. All you have to do is load the top with beans (one every 2-3 weeks for my family) and change the filter and add water before each pot you brew. There's no guess work about the amount of grounds to put in and you don't have to mess with a coffee grinder either. Also, everything is dishwasher safe so you can just throw everyhting in the dishwasher once a week and keep your coffee tasting fresh! I also like that you can choose how strong to brew your coffee. A great product and it's lasted over a year now and still goings strong!
