This was a gift from my mom and the kids all loved the R2D2 look when it arrived! We are very happy with this item, it makes bread making a breeze. Stability While in Use If used on a flat surface, we have not noticed any problems. Performance Bakes a perfect loaf of bread everytime. It took just a couple of times to determine how dark we like our bread, but that was it. Ease of Use SIMPLE! Just follow the recipes provided in the book that comes with the machine and you can't go wrong. My ten year old daughter makes bread with this and it comes out great and she is proud of her accomplishment! Even the boys like to get in on the action and experiment by adding "stuff" to the batter. Everything we have tried comes out great ...we especially like the cheesy bread :) Durability With many kids in the house, this has stood up wonderfully, parts are easy to come by, and it is good to have an extra gasket on hand for when one accidentally gets misplaced when kids are doing dishes (Ask me how we learned this lesson LOL)

I purchased this DAK Bakery Bread Machine over 20 years ago when bread machines were first coming out. I loved the cool "R2D2" design and keep it out on my counter at all times. This machine has passed the test of time. It is so simple to use and the results are awesome. Like most machines, you just put in the ingredients, turn it on and within a couple of hours, you have homemade bread. I use the machine most often to make dough for a roll recipe that has been handed down through the family. My mother in law insists her rolls are better as she makes them "by hand." But I guarantee, mine are just as great and I didn't have to work for them. I have never had to have the machine repaired and only needed a replacement "paddle" as I lost one. I give this machine an A+.

Forget storebought bread when you have this! In only five minutes, you can toss all the raw ingredients into this machine and in four hours - out pops a delicious loaf of homemade bread. It smells wonderful in the kitchen, it doesn't take up much space, the bread is amazing and almost always comes out perfectly. This machine can make all kinds of delicious bread. It's not too loud either, which is nice since you can set it over night and have fresh bread in the morning. Even the most baking-challenged can make bread with this machine. It's amazing.
