I use this daily at least 1 time a day for about a year now. I have combination to oily skin and it works great. The only con would be that it is higher in price.

I have to say I was disappointed in this product. After cleansing my face, I always use a toner and I was shocked at the amount of makeup left on my skin. I used it again with a cleansing device and it was a little better but still not clean.

I use this for my sensitive skin and it's really gentle on my skin.I've tried other cleansers and most left me with red blotches after cleansing but this one doesn't. it cleans thoroughly without harming my skin. if you have more budget, go for this.

The Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is fantastic. The product cleans well without overdrying or irritating your skin. After trying numerous natural or organic products, I decided to go back to science based on the recommendation of my esthetician. I had some serious hormonal problem areas that developed in my thirties - and the dermalogica system has made a world of difference. My skin is clear again and the elasticity has returned. Note: The Dermalogica products are a bit pricy - but they are worth it. Effectiveness I really can't say enough about how happy I am with this product. Combined with the rest of the Dermalogica system, it's worth every penny. Ease of Application I can use a small dime sized amount, lather it in my hands, and thoroughly wash my entire face. A little bit goes a long way with this product. Scent When my daughter kisses me in the morning, she always tells me that my face smells good. There's a hint of a fruity scent that they added to it that leaves me feeling fresh.

I have a friend who is an Aesthetician and owns her own shop. She told me about Dermalogica and reccomended that I used it, how could I not try it!? Well I have to say that I am SOLD. While it may be inconvienent for some people to purchase, if you can find a local spa/shop that sells it, it is so worth it. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean without being overly taugh. There has also been a huge difference in the overall appereance of my skin. I wear a lot less facial makeup now because my actual face look so good. This is all that I ask for in a cleanser. I want my natural beauty to shine through. This cleasing gel is good for all skin types, it doesn't overdry nor does it leave skin feeling greasy or overly moisturized. Love it!

This is a nice cleanser. It is a gel based so it gives a great clean. It even cleas off all makeup very well. The smell is a nice clean smell, not too strong. If you have drier skin I do NOT recommend it. With it being a a gel it does give a good clean and can really strip my skin in the winter, even with using a moisturizer. With normal to oily skin I highly recommend this product. It last a long time because a little goes a long way.

I love this gentle, soap-free gel.  I use it morning and evening.  It has a light, pleasant smell.  It goes on smoothly and leaves my face feeling clean.  Upon rinsing, my skin feels smooth and is never dried out or oily.  I have also used it as an all over body wash when my skin was feeling sensitive. While it may seem pricey, like all Dermalogica products, a little goes a long way.  The hardest part is pumping out a small amount.  You truly only need less than a half-dime sized drop to wash your entire face or neck.  A 16.9 oz bottle can last 2-3 years.  I have tried many face washing products in the past.  However, since receiving a trial size during a facial five years ago, I have never desired to switch products.  My favorite aspect of Dermalogica products is that they contain no artificial colors or fragrances.  Even my mother, who has extreme allergies, is not bothered by the scent or content of this product.

The Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel was originally recommended to me by an aesthetician during a facial. So I started using it, and I loved it. It's perfect for keeping my combination skin clear and healthy. I had no sensitivity issues to the product, and it seemed to rinse very clean - which I've noticed some cleansers don't seem to do very well. It also made my skin feel very smooth and soft after cleansing. I moisturized as well, but not because my skin felt bad or rough. As far as the actual product itself, I think it's great.The one drawback, however, is the price. It is quite expensive. I have stopped using it because of the price. Really, the whole Dermalogica line was nice, but I think this is the best product that I've tried out of the entire Dermalogica line. So overall, highly recommended - but pricey and only sold at specific salons (although I have been able to find it online, too).

The Special Cleansing Gel by Dermalogica is just what I need to keep my skin clean, clear, and healthy.  I have always had issues with breakouts unless I used certain cleansers.  I used to order from a beauty consultant but when the company I used previously decided to eliminate the line of products I used, I needed to find something else and nothing worked.  A few months ago I had gone to a spa to receive a facial and talked to the aesthetician about what she recommended.  After analyzing my skin, she told me my skin was pretty average and I should use the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel.  I've been using it for about 2 months now and I love it.  My face feels so clean and free from impurities when I use it.  I do need to moisturize afterwards but that was part of my normal skin care regimen anyway.  I recommend this for anyone with normal to oily skin!  After using it for about a week you will definitely notice a difference.

I love Dermalogica's Special Cleansing Gel!  I am a master Aesthetician and I recommend this product frequently to my clients.  It give you a deap cleani feel without stripping your skin of the natural oils that you need!  I love the smell of this product!  It is not overly strong and has just enough scent!  It makes your skin feel so good after you wash your face with this product.  Just be aware that a little of this goes a LONG way.  This cleanser is super concentrated so you don't need as much of it to get your face clean.  I know that this is a fairly expensive produce but I believe it is well worth it.  If you use it spareingly it really can last quite a long time!  I would strongly recommend this product to people with any skin type!  It is gentle enough not to irritate your skin but strong enough to get it clean! My husband was hesitant to try this product in the beginning but now I have him hooked and he doesn't mind paying extra money for the wonderful results!
