I remember taking Dexatrim capsules years ago high school. So when I was looking for something to kick start my diet, I remembered it had worked in the past so I was hopeful it would work again. I really felt the need to boost my metabolism and to get serious about my diet because I felt very flabby after my child was born. I felt this was a good option because I trusted the company brand as it has a long standing reputation. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Dexatrim Max left me with a jittery shaky feeling and did not help result in weight loss. It caused my heart rate to unnaturally speed up and my legs physically felt week. It did not curb my appetite but it did not increase it either. I stopped using it after 2 weeks and decided it wasn't going to work for me. I had high hopes being that I used it in the past with decent results, this time around was not successful. Effectiveness It did not work for me and I only took it for a short time due to feeling ill after taking it. I suppose it may work for someone who doesn't have a reaction to it. My co-worker didn't have any side effects and had better success. Everyone is different and reacts to supplements differently. It is not expensive so I would suggest someone give it a try before using one of the other much more expensive supplements. Plus it is available in drug stores and mass retailers. Side Effects Dexatrim left me feeling jittery and shaky. I had increased heart rate and leg weakness. It was not safe for me to continue using especially because I am a full time mom to an infant. Dexatrim Max and I had a very short lived relationship though it has worked for other people.

Dexatrim has been around for as long as I can remember. My mother use to use this product years ago so I decided I would give it a try. At first it was not too bad, and I did have some success but after a few days I started to feel sick and very jittery. As with all diet pills and products, you are supposed to eat a healthy meal during the day which I did. These pills made me feel so jittery and uncomfortable that I stopped taking them after a few days.They caused me to have a horrible headache as well . I don't suggest any one take these pills especially if you have any medical conditions such as high blood pressure. You can lose a few pounds with these but the side effects are not worth the suffering. They also cost about 25.00 a bottle which is a big waste of money. Invest that money into something smarter like a healthy salad. These are a waste of time and money not to mention good health.

In terms of appetite control, this Dexatrim completely knocked out any feelings of hunger for me. I literally was not hungry from morning till night. I had to force myself to eat a small bit of protein or a spoon of peanut butter. My complete loss of appetite probably contributed to the jitteriness I felt. Without food in my stomach, my reaction to the caffeine was heightened. I wouldn't try this again. For myself, I just don't feel that it's health-promoting or wise. Effectiveness It suppressed my appetite, that's for sure. Side Effects The side effects (or, perhaps we should call it the central effect of appetite loss) was really too much for me. I felt buzzed and shaky. I also had trouble falling asleep. It could be my own sensitivity level to the product, or even the power of suggestion, but I wasn't comfortable continuing to take it. My heightened alertness was not of the pleasant, energetic variety. Definitely not for me.

Dexatrim Max Daytime Appetite Control is an average weight loss pill. It gives you energy but after awhile it turns to nervous energy. I notice when I take this stuff my heart seems to race. I can actually feel it. I don't think that is a good thing. It helps you lose weight by making you have energy to run around a lot more. It is supposed to work all day, and it does. I guess that is because of its extended release formula. I'm not as hungry when I take this. It does help reduce belly fat. Some drawbacks are that it can make you dizzy and give you a headache. You just have to follow the instructions to the letter. It speeds up your metabolism a little bit too. It will control your appetite and help you lose a few pounds. I lost approximately 3 pounds, and that is not enough for the cost of this weight loss pill. You don't get enough tablets for the price. It has a multi-action formula, which helps reduce your appetite and it has Vitamin B complex in it. It is suppose to help reduce stress. You might get the jitters, if you do, just cut your dose in half. You might have trouble sleeping through the night if you take the suggested dosage. These pills come in a cute and fancy looking container. I can only give Dexatrim Max Daytime Appetite Control (2 STARS) even though, it will suppress your appetite. The reason being, it has too many side effects.

I've been using this for several months. Curbs my appetite pretty good. Doesn't stop me from eating by any means. But it helps me at work from getting the muchies. I can tell the difference when I don't take it. I still watch what i do eat, and go to the gym everyday. I've actually gained and lost weight, but always have been in the same size clothes.

Like many people, I'd be interested in finding that magic pill to make my hunger disappear...leaving me full of energy and a slim shape.  This product is not it!  I purchased Dextraim Max Maximum Weight Loss Power caplets because it was a brand I recalled from my youth.  It was a name I had always associated with appetite control and weight loss, but had never tried. I took 1 Dexatrim Max Maximum Weight Loss Power caplet in the morning about 30 minutes before breakfast, but when I went to eat I still felt like I'd been starved.  Beyond that, I felt skeazed out all day.  "Skeazed" is not normally I would use, but I couldn't think of anything more appropriate.  I felt jittery, lethagic, out of it, and I had a bad taste in my mouth.  Thinking that this might go away with continuued use, I tried taking the same dose for a week straight, but there were no improvements how I felt or in my appetite. Thumbs down on this product.

I would love to be able to tell you that Dexatrim Max is that wonderful perfect diet pill that we are all searching for, but for me, it was not. I have used Dexatrim products of and on since I was in high school, and without giving away my age, let's just say that those Dexatrim products are no longer available.   I had such high hopes coming from Dexatrim. I even debated over this purchase for quite some time, but when I lucked across a bottle coming upon its expiration date, reduced for quick sale, I grabbed it up.   The directions state, take two tablets two times a day. I started with two tablets in the morning just to see how I would react to it. Sometimes too much caffeine and certain diet pills give me the jitters and that feeling of your skin crawling. Although I felt neither of these on the first day, I did feel like I had a bit more energy and it seemed to curb my appetite.   It was short lived. The next day I took the required dosage, only to feel exactly the same. Which, is good, however after three or four days, I had no feelings at all. I just felt like my normal self. I had the same amount of energy that I normally have with a good night's sleep as well as the same appetite.   I think for some this would be a great product to try especially given the fact it does not seem to cause jitters to many of the users I have read here on ViewPoints. That to me is a huge plus and really worth the try. Another point to think about, Dexatrim has been around a lot longer than many of those diet pills are the market, they are a respectable company and I would highly recommend someone try their products first. Another high point to consider is the price. The price of Dexatrim is much more economical compared to many diet pill products on the market.   So, although I got no real effects from this product, I do recommend others give it a try. Everyone is different so you might have a different outcome compared to me.

I automatically assume any type of pill you take for weightloss requires your own steady devotion to working out. Just taking the pills is simply not enough it seems. Overall it states also to help with stress, which didn't really help me any and I ended up getting dizzy more then I noticed a shift in my eating habits. Overall I never got the chance to really see if it worked, because I was too sick to continue it. Apparently, dizziness doesn't happen to everyone so..maybe it does work, maybe it doesn't..I didn't get past the second day of using it.

I bought into the hype of diet pills.  I thought it would give me the edge to lose a few pounds and kick start my weight loss.All it did was make me jittery and miserable.  Save your money for healthy foods and a gym membership.  It will be worth so much more.
