My overal rating is a ten. It's because it has a great taste. I have five kids. So this is always in my cabinet. It's great because it has cough and cold together. My kids don't like to take medicine. So that's why it's good together all in one. You can also ad it with juice. If your kids are like my kids. Dime tap is the best cough and cold medicine out there!!! Congestion Relief I rated it a ten. Because the congestion relief is great. It clears up the runny nose. So it doesn't start going to the chest. I also buy the nite time dime tap could and cough relief. For more kids in the night . It's not only for kids I take it to. So it works great for adults. Chest Congestion Relief I give the chest congestion relief a ten for dimetabb cold and cough medicine. It clears a runny nose very fast !! And also keeps the cough away before getting to the chest. Relief of Aches & Pains It stops the runny nose so it relifs the pain that you get from a head cold. Cough Suppression The cough suppression is good because my daughter can sleep all night specially with the night time cough and cold. It clear up nose and cough very good.

It Works! My granddaughter had a runny nose and head congestion and her eyes were watery and after taking this medication she seemed to get better. Also she was able to take a nap and when she woke up it was as if she didn't have a cold after all. Congestion Relief My granddaughter had head congestion and her nose was all filled with "stuff". After taking the Dimetapp she was able to blow her nose after several hours to clear her head. Chest Congestion Relief I really can't comment on this because she did not have chest congestion that I was aware of, it was only in her head. Relief of Aches & Pains I guess it helped her she wasn't complaining about any aches or pains and the medicine did seem to make her sleep. Cough Suppression My granddaughter was coughing really bad when she came over. I gave her this medicine after breakfast and her cough subsided quite a bit. Then after the appropriate time, I gave her another dose and it really helped her with her cough.

I was pretty happy with dimetapp overall. My kids normally fight me on medicine because of the taste, but didn't seem to mind taking this one. I also used the nighttime one and it was great! I usually don't get any sleep if my kids have a cold but after taking it, they slept all night! I would have liked to see less of a runny nose after taking it though. Relief of Aches & Pains Not really sure Cough Suppression Would have been better if they didn't have mucus in their throat

DIMETAPP CHILDRENS COLD AND COUGH IS A PLEASANT TASTING GRAPE FLAVOR. IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT WANT TO DRINK IT STRAIGHT YOU CAN MIX IT WITH GRAPE SODA OR GRAPE JUICE AND GIVE IT TO THEM THAT WAY. MY ENTIRE FAMILY NOW HAS ONE OF THOSE UPPER RESPIRATORY VIRUSUS THAT CAUSE STUFFY NOSES AND SNEEZING . I FELT REALLY BAD LAST NIGHT AND I TOOK SOME OF THIS, I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW GOOD I ACTUALLY FELT TODAY AND HOW NINEDY PER CENT OF MY SYMPTOMS ARE GONE. MY CHILDREN SEEM LIKE THEY ARE VERY ALERT AND HAPPY. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT NANNY PURCHASED AND GAVE TO US, NORMALLY I WOULD GIVE THEM CHILDRENS BENADRYL BECAUSE EVERY TIME WE WENT TO THE ER THEY TOLD US TO GIVE THEM THAT FOR THEIR RUNNY NOSES BUT THE DIMETAPP CHILDRENS COLD AND COUGH WORKED A LOT BETTER. PLEASE TAKE HEED THAT IF YOU DO USE THIS FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN YOU ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR THE CORRECT DOSE TO GIVE THEM OR IT COULD RESULT IN COMPLICATIONS TO YOUR CHILDS HEALTH.
