My parents bought me this vacuum because I have a very small place with very little carpeting so I needed something that was small, light and easily maneuvered. This little guy sure fit the bill! I thought due to the price that this vacuum was going to suck (no pun intended) but it really pleasantly surprised me. It is very easy to clean, light and easy to move, and very simple to operate. There is not a lot of features to it so the versatility is low but for its intended purpose it works great. I use it in my bedroom and living room and it is sufficient to clean both rooms. Really the only negative about it is the sucking power. It will clean both rooms fairly well but anything semi heavy or stuck in the carpet will not be pulled up and sometimes I find myself hand picking up things, having to clean out the bottom of the vacuum or having to vacuum the same spot a few more times. However, for the price is has a lot more suction than i expected out of it!

I was surprised by how powerful the Dirt Devil Scorpion is! My entire apartment is carpeted, with the exception of the kitchen and the bathroom. I also have long hair and a pet dog so unfortunately, the place is constantly covered in hair. This vacuum has no problem sucking up hair or dust and it handles the dog dander on the furniture pretty well, too. The head is small enough so that it fits in tight spaces, including underneath my bed and couch. Even when the head does not fit, I simply convert the vacuum into a handheld one and voila! Now everything can be reached. The conversion process itself is pretty simple, you just have to tug a couple of things apart. The only reason this product does not get a perfect 10 is because the vacuum cup is so small. I do have to empty it out quite frequently. But other than that, this vacuum runs perfectly and is very powerful for such a low price. Maneuverability It fits absolutely everywhere! Ease of Maintenance The vacuum cup (or bag?) does have to be emptied quite frequently since it's so small.

When I first starting using the dirt devil scorpion handi-stick convertible vacuum, it worked really well. This vacuum is perfect for cleaning up small messes such as, spilled flour, sugar, cereals, bread crumbs, dirt, grass, little scraps of paper and lint. The dirt devil scorpion handi-stick convertible vacuum converts to a cordless handheld vacuum. This vacuum has a 9 3/5 volt motor, standard filtration, has a easy to empty dirt cup and has a 25 foot cord with a cord hook. I really liked the ease and use of this vacuum, but after only 4 weeks of using this vacuum, it stop working completely. I did keep my receipt so I was able to return the vacuum to the store and get it replaced with a new one. I have not had any problems with my new vacuum so far. I am very pleased with the performance, ease of use and versatility of the dirt devil scorpion handi-stick convertible vacuum. I no longer have to use a standard size vacuum for small spills or messes.

I originally bought this when I moved into a new apartment. It was a small place with carpet in only one room, in addition to a few rugs. The rest was hardwood and tile (in the bathroom.) Since the closet space was limited, I didn't want to get a big, bulky vacuum cleaner. I thought this little guy would be a space saver as well as a convenience, since it also worked as a handheld. Sadly, this vacuum had hardly any suction at all. It would barely suck crumbs off the kitchen floor, let alone anything off the rugs or carpet. The carpet was very low pile, too, not anything shaggy. I ended up pushing the cleaner through the apartment, but pausing to pick up things that were too heavy-duty for it-- like scraps of paper. Just not impressive at all. The handheld part that I thought would be so convenient really wasn't. Since it didn't work any better than the upright part, I pretty much never bothered to take it off and use it. It did suck up SOME dust, and it definitely has a small footprint, but that's about all I can say of it. After a few months I replaced it with a Hoover that takes up a lot more closet space, but also cleans my floors!

This is a great little vacuum. It is lightweight, has a long cord and has more power than I expected. I use it on hardwood and tile floors as well as carpet. It picks up everything on hard floors but just the surface trash on carper. It is bagless and easy to empty the container. There is a filter to catch the dirt and trash and it brushes off easily. It is can also function as a hand vac. It is very easy to change the function. There are two attachments. There is a floor brush and a crevice tool. Both easy to change. j The crevice took is great for getting close to the wall where dirt and trash can hide. Too make it even more attractive it is very lowpriced. Maneuverability It is lightweight and easy to move around. It will go under some furniture but it two wide of many pieces. Ease of Maintenance Easy to keep up. The bag is easy to empty and the filter is easy to clean. Suction Performance This was one of the best things about the vacuum. It has really great suction. Versatility It is primairly a floor vac but functions well as a hand held vac. Design It look like what it is designed for. Not mistaking that it is a stick vac Durability I have only had it for a short time but others have stated it will last for years.

I love my little vacuum! This is one wedding gift that I definitely didn't take back! It comes in handy on those days when I just don't want to pull out the big vacuum! It does an awesome job picking up larger pieces of trash as well as the smaller pieces! It has been especially helpful since we are expecting our first child since it is so light weight! It makes is easier for me to use on a daily basis! My Bagless stick vacuum also breaks down to a small hand held vacuum, too, which makes it easy to clean out couches, chairs, tough corners, cars, and such. It is not overly loud either! The wheel part on the bottom doesn't have a brush with the suction though. That is one thing I noticed about mine, but it still picks up great!

I recently moved into a new place. It is basically all wood floors -- which I love. The only problem is that our wet/dry and bag less upright vacuums were too bulky and heavy for me to use on a regular basis. Sweeping is not my thing...dust allergies here. Therefore, I set out to find what I like to call an "electric broom" so to speak. A lightweight, durable, portable vacuum that I could use daily vs. a broom for cleaning my floors at the start or end of the day. I knew I wanted something inexpensive because we already have 2 vacuums. Therefore, I did not want to spend above a pre-set amount for my add-on. I shopped around at several stores and settled on the brand that I was the most comfortable with...Dirt Devil. While growing up with always had one of their hand held vacs so was very familiar with them in general (quality/durability wise). I also knew I wanted something bag less as well. When I found this stick (lightweight) and bag less (my preference) vacuum I knew I was going to buy it. The price was definitely right so I could not walk away from it. As soon as I got it home I tried it out in our living room and was totally impressed. It felt to me like the electric version of a broom without all of the dust! :) I think this vacuum is great and have been using regularly without any problems. It was definitely well worth the money in my opinion!

this is a great little vacuum for some "quick fixes" around the house,,, if u are expecting company, and didnt have time to prepare,, u can get the job done with this stick vac in less than 10 minutes.....works great!
